It's a sad day for .hack fans when even the mobile .hack games are being shut down. It was announced by CC2 and Namco Bandai that Guilty Dragon mobile game will be shutting down its servers at the end of March this year.

I suppose this is happening because the NEW WORLD vol. 1 is the next mobile .hack game, all resources will be shifted to focus on it. Still, Guilty Dragon was fun and I'm sad to see it go. I guess that is the fate of any mobile game, the last 3.5 years were fun. Bye bye :(

.-. I hope they atleast release more artbooks to cover any remaining cards so players/fans can be reminded of them as I doubt you can access your player information/card collection after this date...i've not played online games like this so unsure of what happens.

I hope New World will be as successful as Guilty Dragon and that if possible people will record the main events of Guilty Dragon since its very unlikely people will see game again...unless it somehow makes it to the West or they make a console port/digital release ^^'

I am upset at how much good art will go to waste. The 4 artbooks don't even cover half of the cards in the game. So much effort wasted on all those images if the game is going belly up, never to be seen again :/

If i'm not mistaken i've seen a fair amount of cards posted online, no clue if that is all of them but CC2 does post quite often regarding Guilty Dragon which links to images aswell ^^' may be a project to assemble as many images as possible, heck you could skip those in the 4 Visual Works to save time as they aren't going anywhere.

Many of them can be found online, yup, but not all of them. :t They need to create a big illustration book with all of them or something.

The Guilty Dragon Visual Works books have some card illustrations in them.

A very VERY small fraction of them. They would need another 5 illustration books to cover all the images, and that won't happen..

I create memorial page guilty dragon on my site. There will be all the cards in the gallery. As a reward I would like to get a scanned GuiltyDragon//visual works 4. Visual works 1,2,3 I will scan itself and will posted on my site.

^-^ a nice sentiment to the last day of Guilty Dragon Zaseo, a shame the servers have to close without the series having another platform for release or being localized in the West.

Would be an splendid addition if this game (or a slim-lined variation) was added as bonus content to say a Collector's Edition from another media of Project N.U. :D

Like a Crimson VS.!
I vaguely remember localization promises back when it first came out, but here we are, at the end of its lifespan.

Such is the life of mobile games. Sad to see it go, it was a fun little thing we had for the last few years :(

Yup, there was one. But they never delivered on it.

I remember the day Guilty Dragon got announced. I remember being excited and discussing it on this forum. So to see it shutting down is almost surreal - hard to believe already a few years went by.
