This site is still the same as it was. It was thought that it was for Versus, but it's still there with that "coming soon" message. It could just be something they forgot about, but... Maybe that mention about another .hack game in development isn't false after all. It wouldn't be the first time a statement has been retracted just to keep things a secret until the producers had a concrete item. I mean, a lot of people thought that LINK would be the end, but here we are with more stuff coming out.

Anyway, this is just me being hopeful.

Yes, Versus was the game project. They replaced it on the CC2 site with the Hybrid pack logo. They just forgot to take down the old page. The screenshots released were all clearly from Versus. The fact that Matsuyama immediately debunked that mistranslation at NY Comic Con pretty much--sadly--shows that there aren't any new games in the pipeline that we should be expecting.

You can hold out for a surprise, but this site would be totally unrelated to that.
