Re: Schicksal Member Names
Wasn't Fluegel also translated as "Grand Piano"?
And i've never heard of any "Pizaneo" o-O I think you mean Cello, which is the only Schicksal member that's not on your list. And cello is already the english name of an instrument.

Yes, along with wings. It's not surprising seeing teutonic matter in .hack//. Besides, Emma Wielant, the veryTheSorrow wrote:Wasn't Fluegel also translated as "Grand Piano"?
person that basically gave birth to this saga, was born into a German family. Even a message was written in German
on her gravestone.
Okay. Time to correct a few mistakes.Kite_DH wrote:Flügel = Wings

"Flugel" is a horn. "Fluegel" means wings/Grand Piano
Metronome was already in english as well. It's a device that keeps
tempo and time.
Geist also means spirit.

you are are, flügel can also be a piano. it can also mean "wings" though.
was metronome written in english? i think i saw it written in german on a website from bandai..maybe i saw it wrong.
geist can mean ghost, spirit and also soul.
geist is usually used for "ghost" though.
for my defense i gotta say, i read a translation from german manga TLers.
Re: Schicksal Member Names
Perhaps that means...
Schicksal is the memory of a symphony, orchestrating [The World]s final melody.
But then again, taking the words "spirit" "metronome" and various instruments and turning into that statement is a bit of a stretch...

Actually, no, the type of horn has an e/umlaut too, but I don't think it can be called just "Flügel" without the "-horn."_Tri-edge_ wrote:"Flugel" is a horn. "Fluegel" means wings/Grand Piano
Cello is the same word in German and actually Metronome's name should probably be spelled Metronom._Tri-edge_ wrote:Metronome was already in english as well. It's a device that keeps

As in an abstract spirit, like zeitgeist. It's weird how it doesn't fit..._Tri-edge_ wrote:Geist also means spirit.
