Also, watch your party members' HP. You should help Mistral/Elk heal and sometimes put them to attacking and you do the healing.

oh damn i think i did like my third try, that was like 4 years ago so i cant remember details. but i remember after i bear skeith, they showed the cutscene with cubia, aww man i thot i had to fite him, i was so pissed lol

Yea its been some years since the first time I played infection, I got it when it first hit the shelves... it only took me one try though... scared the crap out of me, but I beat it

ya even tho this game is pretty old by now, the AI were really stupid. and so is the AI in the G.U. series as well. omg they waste their SP so fast.

1st try, I made sure I was a high level

u don't really have to be that high of a level. maybe 32-33. but you can usually hit that during a normal play through of the game without power leveling.

yeah skeith is the easy one. you can be at a low level and still beat him. i think i was only level 33 when i did it. it wasnt that hard at all.

One try, and Skeith died...But my friend just couldn't beat him, so I had to beat him for her... and once again... Skeith died...

i think the reason everyone finds him so hard is because he is the first phase you are up against and you really don't know what to expect.

3 times. First time I never even got Protect Break. Second time I did but he paralysed my entire party right after I data drained him which of course screwed me. Third time I just brought a ton of antidotes and healing drinks and was able to get a win. Skeith was the hardest phase for me, second to Corbenik but that's because I took him on massively under-prepared >.<

Took him down first try! I had heard people say hpw hard he was and so i leveled kite to 32 with a level 32 gardenia and a level 31 blackrose. What i didnt expect was the fact that he could 2-hit me... and pretty much everytning else , quite painful. Still, I WON!

I was stubborn in the days of Infection... I died many times and became very frustrated. I tried taking him at lvl18-24, and don't question how I got that far at a low lvl. I had cheats, not hp, just sp and money (for venturing anyways). It made it boring to have inf hp, so I got the next best thing. Finally, after few lvls higher, around 27-29, I just barely nailed it.

To this very day, I have over lvled in every game I got my hands on. Like G.U., I maxed at 50 about a 3rd of the way through. And yes, I had the time.

And ironically, IMOQ is a game where you have to be overlevelled to barely go through unless you can think of awesome strategies involving skills and elemental hits, while in GU you only have to level up a few times, and they're mostly because the game forces you to (like Job Extensions), and not because you couldn't be able to pass them at that low level.

Yeah, I liked that about the originals now though. I use strategy (or prefer it over the occasional ballistic tendancies) more now when I can instead of mindlessly bashing things.
