.hack's story is too serious most of the time and she provides much needed comic relief, albeit not being one of the "main" characters.

I would have to Sora, since I totally hated him at first,  then learned about who he was in real life and felt completely horrible and impressed because of his age!

But probably Sora since, well, he clearly has the most moments of awesome in SIGN.

My favorite characters would have to be Ovan, Kuhn, and Gabi

Haseo - He has pretty cool character development and is an overall cool character.
Gardenia - I dunno why, but I really really like her.

Mine is Haseo the "Terror of Death" as you can see. Though Haseo and Sora(.hack//Sign) are one of the same.

I used to really like Azure Kite just because he was so cool and badass but...not much now ;D

There really are a lot of characters to choose from... I don't know why but I just like Crim.

If I placed it in the more recent characters then I'd put my hands off to.... Zelkova

Lots of great characters throughout all of .hack media, hmm...., I would say Midori probably. I really dig the new Tokio design, the one that uses his fists rather than blades, but he's not really explained. The young Tokio from //link is not appealing to me in any way, so I don't wanna choose the older version of him since I would believe they have the same personality, which I don't like. So if you go by looks I would lean towards the badass grown up Tokio, but assuming his character is still the same, then I would stick with Midori

Hmmm it would be Haseo and Endrance :3 But i like Shino too :3

I would say, I like Balmung the best atm. I also like Albireo, Bo, Haseo, Subaru, Mistral and Cubia

Of course "Mayako (1/2)", because she's just as cute as a button
