So a Goddess, a mage, an elf and a JSDF commander walk into a bar.....

Tired of MMORPG Anime? Tired of generic fantasy anime about swords and sorcery? Well this Anime only has the latter but with guns and tanks fighting them!

Seriously though, this does look pretty cool. The contrasting tone and art styles reminds me of Samurai Flamenco and if it's anything like that it'll be pretty awesome.

^_^ This does look good, far different classes than normal working together,all it needs is a tank possessed by a cat spirit~ xD doubt arrows can match a rifle lol

xD Sounds similar with an odd team: having a military otaku, actor and martial artist not to mention an elf. Shame only 7 manga or so got translated and yet there was 22 and a sequel series .-. Atleast the anime had an ending,alsogotta love Angel Blue ^-^

If you can call it an ending. For god knows what reason it suddenly became fashionable recently to complain about the "Oretachi no tatakai wa korekara da" trope, but it's been going on for as long as anime, and this anime was a serious offender as the second season ended further from resolution than the first episode.

Better than the series getting cancelled midway though xD Can't say i'm familar with that series but I take it the ending wasn't satisfactory?

With Those Who Hunt Elves season 2 you atleast know (maybe not the specifics) of what happens to everyone, though a special or two showing after events wouldn't have gone amiss. ^^'

I'm enjoying the series so far, from what I hear the manga is darker and i'm keeping away from it to avoid spoilers given theres bound to be different pacing.

Wonder what other races they'll come across @.@

Okay, so the first cour has ended, now to wait for the second season, so what wer your favorite parts? Mine were the 10,000 JSDF soldiers versus 130,000 knights and medieval footsoldiers, JSDF won with zero casualties, then there was the gunship attack taking down all those bandits, shields are useless against bullets you dolts, hehehehe.
