GUESS THE ANIME SCREENSHOT!
I was bored, so I decided to post a little forum game here about anime. It's fairly simple. One person posts a pic from an anime, and the others must guess it. If they guess right, then it's their turn to post a pic. Just a sidenote, common sense would tell you to not post obvious pics, like .hack//, Naruto, or Bleach, etc. Add in some difficulty with your pic. It's makes it fun.^^ Now then, let the game begin.
Oh, one more side note. Make sure your img URL doesn't reveal your answer! We do have people who know
how to use quote.

Death Note XD At least i clearly remember seeing that image in one episode, and so it makes it a screenshot of the anime indeed.
Might be bad but i doubt it, so my turn anyways :P

It looks kinda like a Lupin villain on a Yamato screen, but I'm not sure it's either of those...

Re: GUESS THE ANIME SCREENSHOT!
Very good guesses! It is old, from 1982 in fact.
Because it has keep the world stumped, I shall reveal it!
It is from Combat Mecha Xabungle.
Lupin was made in 1971, and is actually older.
So! Up next:

Re: GUESS THE ANIME SCREENSHOT!
It's something from the Super Robot Wars series, right?
Re: GUESS THE ANIME SCREENSHOT!
I'm not sure that's actually in an SRT, not sure what it is though...

Maybe you could tell us, as I'm guessing most of us wouldn't know any of your screen shots considering we weren't even thought about being conceived when they first aired.
Re: GUESS THE ANIME SCREENSHOT!
I almost made that claim, after specifically looking up pictures of the handful of SRT series I don't really know, but decided I might have missed something...Super Robot wrote:This particular series has never been in SRT/SRW.
I'm thinking I was probably conceived before this came out, though I am a huge fan of being a fan of stuff that was around when I didn't exist...

Re: GUESS THE ANIME SCREENSHOT!
Surprisingly, that screen shot comes from an unpopular incarnation of a very popular series.
The Series is called "Getter Robo Go" and it is one of very few Getter Robo Series that wasn't particularly popular.
A modified version of this robot dubbed "Neo Getter" appeared in the mini-series "Shin Getter Robo Tai Neo Getter Robo".
It aired in 1991, not particularly old!
This one should be much easier.

Re: GUESS THE ANIME SCREENSHOT!
hrmm.. Mazinger Z? maybe it's something else?
oh well, seeing we have robo-fanatics going on.. here's a screenshot I'm sure you won't be familiar with ^^d
and it's particularly hard because it's a screencap of the pilot INSIDE the cockpit of the mecha he's piloting
