Re: Avy tuto
To be honest I spent the time making an avy, looking for topaz vivacity. so I just finished what I thought looked good and was done, perhaps my next one I'll do that.Patolea wrote:It looks really great, nice job!CirilloPrimo wrote:What do you think?

Also where do you get c4d?
Oh and the blinking avatar avi would be a .gif file, which can be made in photoshop but is tricky

Re: Avy tuto
@Everyone- Looks like I'm the only one here who can do them atm then :/
@Cirillo- They're not actually as difficult as you think -especially if you're using sprites instead of actual pictures- they're just.. well... time consuming.

I get the renders [images without a background] and the c4ds at deviant art, or the famous planet renders.CirilloPrimo wrote:Also where do you get c4d?

and yes, the avatar like the NK's that are moving can be make in the photoshop making gifs, but how you said it's tricky, I used to know how a few years ago, but I stayed away from PS for 2 years so I forgot almost everything.

Re: Avy tuto
You've got the jist of it absolutely perfect, but if you want to make it look even better -completely imho- add a 'blank slide' behind each blink -a slide with no eyes/ completely shut eyes- so that you get a longer delay with each blink. Also, duplicate the slide that comes before that slide. It isn't as difficult as people make it out to be :B.Patolea wrote:It costs a little time but I finally remeber how to make a "blinking avatar" without looking tutos! =Dnobodyknows wrote:I was wondering if anyone here can make blinking avatars?

Though I'm still teaching myself about doing the 'slow blinking' avatars you often see on devart.
