Even if they (if it really is them) were serious, I do agree Spanish is a lot easier to translate than Japanese.

Yeah, I haven't seen anything from their website or that one guy's Twitter SOOOOOOOOOOOO it's safe to assume they still plan on depriving us, haha.

Well...given the announcement reveals that they have finally acknowledged that .hack fans exist...
It seems as though we may actually see some effort from Bandai Namco in the near future.
I'll be damned if they troll us further and actually release it only in spanish.

Not hating on spanish but with that attitude why don't you pick up a japanese copy and learn japanese? It's more authentic being that it is from the root of origin.

Haha April fools. I still think Quantum in Latin would be awesome though. Even if it just had Subs and no Dubs XD
There would have been no point in making Link into Spanish. We would have been better of with the Japanese version.

Surprisingly French would be better off for them than Spanish (from a marketing standpoint), did you know there is a French dot hack community, my dot hack related video on you tube got hits forwarded from their site.
Lets hope they choose English give it to us.

The Spanish-speaking .hack fan community is pretty large too. They have the second-largest wiki (there's also a Polish one for some reason), and we got a lot of positive responses to this "news" on the Facebook page. Spain is also one of the few European countries Hiroshi Matsuyama has visited too I think, that and Italy. I forget but I don't think he's been to France...
The first game series was released in like a billion different languages, everything from Korean to Irish. I've found some of my forum posts translated into Thai before. It's retained its global following probably in part because of the wide availability of the anime and manga in just about every country, both legal and otherwise. What's really weird is how the German in the German version is different from the German in everything else.
When I was in Europe I tried like hell to get a copy of the many-language PAL version but couldn't find it anywhere...
