I had that same exact problem (and I didn't even know how to get the items at the time :p) so I used haseo as well, but in a WAAAAY cheaper manner......all you gotta do is L1+X for the scythe, he walks into it, then you L1+Triangle for greatsword hit into the air, L1+Triangle combo to hit him down, ...

I ordered and recieved Versus about a month ago from play-asia. No I can't read 98% of the texts but I gather understanding here and there. One thing I have no clue about is how the people I play against online have the collectable weapons and I am stuck with the four original ones. I don't hate tho...
