The World R:2 has been segregated into four opposing guilds. Each guild in //G.U. inhabits a base, or "@Home." Kestrel and Lunar Tree's @Homes are the size of towns.

Kestrel:
Kestrel, the largest guild in The World R:2, has over 5,000 members and is composed of PK's (Player Killers).

Lunar Tree (Tsuki no Ki):
Lunar Tree is a 1,000-member group of pacifists, promoting harmony and peace in R:2. Lunar Tree is Kestrel's biggest obstacle.



Canard:
Canard is newbie-friendly group, aiding newcomers to The World R:2, but is often the target of Kestrel PK's.

Raven:
Raven is a mysterious guild led by Yata, the Prophet, who we now know is also a "The World" administrator; little is known about this group, however.
