finding virus core b

alright is truly a pain to data drain as much as I( have cause I recently noticed that my original dot hack data became corrupted somehow as well as most of the data on my memory card so im trying to re beat it I have been constantly data draining for an hour and havent goten a virus core b

oh I know how that is man hmmm try theta: Chosen's law's Fertile land.
look for a dark ridder I believe that's where i got my last one recently. though it's doesn't happend as offten as i would like i did magane to get one form them Hope this helps
Game faqs also has a huge list of monster and what the give you when you data drain them that is your second option scince you are sarting over form a corrupted game data i doubt there is any spoilers that you don't alreadly know about

hey If you have all of the ryu book which you should by now or at least most of them. Go to I think the 6th one or something to see all of the monster you have fought and if you obtained a virus core b from any monster it would tell you there when you go to detail and it will tell you the last place you fought that monster and give you the keyword. so go check that out later

also, make sure your Data Drain the right kind of monster. You should be Data Draining the Mid-sized monsters for the B virus cores.

used mistral and blackrose. got all the stuff that increases your stats and had mistral heal while blackerose and i fought skeith. Be sure to renew that up stats as soon as they wear off. also, when you go through the levels kill all monsters to level up alot. One of the monsters in that level has a lvl 14rare weapon too so try to data drain that monster.

to beat skeith you just need to stack up on health potions and make sure your are like level 30 it should be a peice of cake I had no problem beating any of the phases but use mistral and blackrose and KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR HEALTH!!! make sure it mostly full have fast game fingers and use speedcharm to get out of the area when he uses magic then heal blackrose its simple but sort of hard to expain

none of the phases on .hack are hard there just time consuming so dont even worry about it just always be prepared and enjoy "The World"

Some of them are hard, well so far Skeith is hard. The other Phases are just time consuming. Although Innis did barely anything to me. <_<

I must suck im level 35 and cant beat him so many jugment attacks leaves only black rose alive and then she dies oh and piros does alot of damage I have use him and black rose but ill use mistral and black rose if it works

alright need help on beating the dragon at the key word you get from the creator he slaughtered me i was killing him but he just has so much dang hp

The first time I fought the dragon the battle went pretty much the same way for me, but the second time I just made sure that mistral stayed alive for healing and powerful long range attacks and that she stayed as far to the back as possible (I had her in the lower left hand corner) I had blackrose attack head on to keep him as far away from me and mistral and had her use skills and regular attacks as much as possible while I stayed in between the two using skills making sure to stay out of range, this way if blackrose falls then he wastes time walking to you while you revive her then he goes back attacking whoever is closest. But the key is to stay stocked with revives and potions for health and magic.

well so far i have only infection and mutation, but i had no problems at all

the phases are pretty easy too, even skeith was easy for me

i never died so far without one exception, i think its phase 3 with the one monster that drop things that explode after 18 seconds or something. well i didnt know that and if one of them explode you die and game over xD

but phases are easy, just cost some money for potions and ressurect and time.

i always stay behind and most of the time only use potions, sometimes i go to the phase and hit with combo attack, but its better if you stay behind and only use pots or ressurect. than i always have blackrose and a wavemaster with me, they do the damage.

and ya, always use a speed scroll

, all of the phases use a splash attack or something like that, than you can run faster away

the dragon is hardfer than skeith it too me three tries to beat it while it took me one try to beat skeith use speed charm and hit him until he chases you then run away really far theel you party to first aid and you attack with magic and revive anybody that dies DO NOT GET HIT WIT HIS FLAME BREATH ARE YOU DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
