Can anyone tell me what that thing in the sky is at.....

I know it's on infection, not sure about the other expansions.
Also, has anyone spotted it in other locations or is it found only there?

Well it depends.Their alot of floating thins.Its either one of these.
1)Mummy Ship Arial Fleet
2) The reverted castle in the sky
3) The many-eyed beast
or...
4) Santa riding some grunty pulled sleigh.
You get to go to the first three as mimi quest after you beat the games.They can be spotted in many different areas.

so you can't do anything with it until you beat the game?

You get an email after you clear the game (infection I believe) and it gives you the keywords to the flying mummy

The Reverted(upside down) castle in the sky? Yes. And after out break you get to go to the many eyed beast.

and when u beat the third one u get to fight cerberus. I dont remember the area though ^_^;; But its another thing in the sky.

After you beat quarantine there are a bunch of side quests and things for you to do. The item campaign is back on and there is a dungeon you go to with elk. I wont say any more about the dungeon cuz of the spoilers.

Well i've noticed this too...Mainly you see what you see depends on the Server and the Field your playing on...But theres nothing like playing at midnight and looking up to a dark sky only to see a giant eyeball stareing right back at you...

im a newbie to the whole hack thing so dont i dont know much. i seen this mummy thing which looked like it was being transported by a fleet of ships,this mummy thing had blood coming from its face and chest? is this some kind of monster? and about lookin at the sy at night.....when in "the world" its neva night 4me? is there some keyword that makes this happen?

This is the whole thing:
 In Infection, the thing in the Delta sky is called The Aerial Fleet. According to the story, It had an accident thousands of years ago, and is lost with THAT forever. The goal is to find out what that accident was.
In Mutation, I've never actually seen the Reverted City over Theta Server, but I think it is invisible. According to the story, a powerful race of some kind lived here, but disappeared sometime. The goal is to find out why....ALSO there is something over Lambda in Mutation, but you can't reach it now.
In Outbreak , a giant flying whale (?!?!?!),
is seen flying over Lambda.The mail wasn't very specific about this one, but I think that the goal is to find out why it's so sick looking. Also in quarantine there is something over Sigma, but I have no idea what. (I completely beat all the secrets in the first three, but can't buy 4 yet .)
P.S. If you didn't know, highlight that junk to read it, and yes, keywords determine everything.

yeah the giant appears in lots of areas when i got to it i went to the boss of that area and completely kicked its butt i almost thought it was going to be harder than skeith but it was really easy probably because of the insane amount of resurrections i had though

You also get AI copies of Tsukasa, Subaru, and Sora ^_^

As for these three dungeons everyone's talking about, Liminal04 explained it. They're story-based sidequests made by CC Corp. They're nothing abnormal in the system like Aura and the Phases. Just sidequests like the Grunties and the Item collecting quest.
