You mean Lambda server. Yeah I use that one and got on "F" Virus core. After the second try I kept getting Sonic Blade and lost exp because I used Data Drain too much.Zak wrote:Get them from Dalaigons... in the place Wiseman sends you...Cless wrote:Level forty-nine. And just about to fight Magus. I just need three more "F" virus cores. Geez...
Anyway, level 99.

Not like it needs much, Astro Kings are your friend if you want to level up fast while in the 90s, and that's almost all there is in the last place on the field... lolKaenKasharion wrote:Level 55 when I left mutation for outbreak.
On Quarantine, 95. I lost 4 levels from the extra dungeon, and didin't have the will to level myself up for no reason anymore.

Thanks, do you have any keywords I can use. This would make it a lot easier. Plus the thing about about losing Exp. I screamed, "I don't care about experience I just want to get a freakin "F" Virus Core, three of them, so I won't have to put up with collecting them so I can go to the field where Magus is."The Azure Knight wrote:you can also get virus core f's from:
Big Eyes, Ironball Titans, Scorpoids, etc...
I've done that alot as well too....i hate it when i level a bunch, collect tons of exp just to lose it all when im DDing...
Ironball Mania as well as Titans give you F's. Since Titans were kinda hard for be to find, I can tell you that Ironball Manias are hella common on the field in Moonstone's, Bottomless Guffawing Raw Ore.Cless wrote:Thanks, do you have any keywords I can use. I forget where Big Eyes are common, but Smiley Rays (which are of the same family and also give you F's) are quite common on the field in the place you get Rachel, Collapsed Pagan Remains.
Also, the place where you got Sanjuro's Demonic Sword (Bitter Hot-Blooded Sand Trap) has the Orochi's on the field, and they're very common. They're the big snakes, kinda like that data bug you fought with Elk in Infection. They're common and have virus core F's
There are plenty more monsters in Mutation you can get them from, but as far as I know these are the easiest to find because they're on the field and common, along wth the Dalaigon. The rest are either deep in dungeons, rare on the field, or common on the field but in an area unfamiliar to me. You're welcome to search for them, but the ones I listed above are the easiest and most convenient (along with the Dalaigon).
Also, make sure your infection is not too high. You know the the higher your infection, the rarer the item meaning less chance of a virus core. Your chances of getting one would be higher if your infection is blue. If it was blue when you fought the Dalaigons... I'm afraid it just wasn't your day. Try killing another monster in between each DD.
Good luck on your search, Cless.
