Having escaped the pursuit of the Earth Federation fleet thanks to Full Frontal’s intervention, the Nahel Argama is now forced to form a joint front with the Sleeves. Frontal, hoping to learn the next coordinates for Laplace’s Box, reveals his secret plan against the Federation. Banagher and Mineva are horrified by the cruelty and callousness of the future he describes.
Meanwhile, a lone Federation patrol ship approaches the Nahel Argama. Will they destroy the patrol ship, or dissolve their joint front with the Sleeves? Caught between friend and foe, what choice will Banagher and his comrades make?

I'm starting to severely doubt Full Frontal being Char now...

Here's the truth.
Full Frontal is a cyber-newtype that was imbued with Char's consciousness after Char was in a Psychoframe and the frame was imbued with Char's thoughts and memories.

I know that, but that was in the novel, they said they'll be treating Full Frontal differently for the OVA, we might just have to wait and see what the episode will bring.

I haven't watched a single trailer for Gundam UC because I wanna stay completely awestruck during each part. This is easily the best Gundam related thing ever.

I just hope the part where Banagher and Frontal try to beat each other to death with lead pipes is present

Watched up to episode 2. It just keeps pulling you along the longer you watch it.

Just finished Episode 5. It's sooooooooooooo GOOD! Quality is very good with no re-used scenes and no fanservice. I definitely recommend to watch it.

Finally saw episode 6, it's literally a race to the box! And Char is really dead.

Unicorn only started airing in 2010. Are you thinking Gundam Wing? Or even Gundam Seed perhaps?

Some OVAs feel like they run forever because they're spaced very far apart. But the tradeoff is amazing production values. It's not as common now as it was in the 80s/90s but that kind of long-term episodic animation is awesome.

I'm offended by this on two levels: first, why is this in spoiler tags??? Second, but... but...
actual Gundam....

I've been out of Gundam for so long. So is this the Turn A Gundam for the generation? The artwork looks familiar...

its not a combination of different universes, its just UC, and the artwork is the same style that's been used for the old Gundam series'.
