The Mythos
Many rumors circulate concerning the apartment complex commonly referred to as Mythos Complex. Quite frequently dead bodies are found outside of the building where it appears the renter thrusted themselves out of their window to their demise against the cold, hard, unforgiving concrete that bashed their face into their skulls. Numerous reports have been made of these curious incidents only for the investigators to conclude that the victim committed suicide, but with over fifty reports within the last year leading to the same conclusion it leads one to wonder… why? And this only addresses one of the smaller, yes, smaller as in less important, rumors that comes along with living anywhere near Mythos Complex. The other rumors, however, are special.
Ghost stories, most may insist. Throughout the complex’s history residents had complained about hearing mysterious voices urging them to leave the vicinity immediately, though whether they were threatening or warning them varied on the apartment number. The most bizarre reports expressed that they were hearing noises they had never heard before residing her; these noises they claimed to be that of some sort of monster they felt may kill them if not dealt with immediately. With this said, the majority of the locals have concluded these ghost stories and monster tales to be accurate and decided that they must be the cause for the deaths over the years, but none were ever courageous enough to face it.
The only people who dare to live in Mythos Complex are the daring, the poor, and the skeptical.
Which one are you?
NO CHARACTERS HAVE ANY PRIOR EXPERIENCE WITH MONSTERS. The players will meet the monsters IN Mythos Complex during this RP when the group meets up with the monsters and not before. Your character is welcome to have had a past experience with spirits, however, just not monsters.

Re: The Mythos
Name: Mikoto & Kuroko Kagakuno
Ages: 23 (Both)
App: Kuroko is at left, Mikoto is at right

Bio: Twins sisters living in Mythos complex. Having grown up dealing with spirits, the twins feel that they should have no problem dealing with the spirits and monsters rumored to dwell within the Complex. Well, that and with their currently poor paying jobs, it was the only place cheap enough to live comfortably. Due to events in their past that they refuse to speak on, Mikoto is terrified of being restrained and Kuroko is terrified of knives & Vore(the concept of being eaten, usually alive and whole). Both have a minor Androphobia.

Re: The Mythos
(Huh... Guess I'm starting then...)
"Bah... That's finally over. Bringing Groceries up here is tiring..." Mikoto said with a sigh as her twin sat down the last of the grocery bags inside and shut the door, securing it with the door chain and bolt after ward before carrying the bags to the kitchen when Mikoto was already putting things away. Granted, the place was really dangerous to begin with with its few tenants, or at least, dangerous in the manner that a chain a dead bolt would help supposedly, but it was force habit from some of the shadier places they grew up in.
Kuroko smiled as she began helping. "But look on the bright side, sis. At least we didn't have to use the stairs, right?" she replied, getting a nod from Mikoto. As the rumors--and convenience--made most live closer to the bottom, the Twins had chosen to live on the top floor for the relative privacy and peace that comes from having few neighbors. "And, we have the peace to relax in afterward as well."
Mikoto snorted. "And what game will you be 'relaxing' with this time, Kuroko?"
"Oh... the same old. It's not like I have any extra cash to burn for a new one right now. "
"Right, right..." The two were already nearly finished now, the only things left were what was soon to be used. "Don't take too long. I'll be cooking soon."
"Heh, I won't," Kuroko replied as she walked out. Mikoto chuckled herself before staring the task of making dinner.

Re: The Mythos
Miharu sighed as Mikoto and Kuroko returned. He lay sprawled across their bed in some gruesome manor as usual. He was attached to it. It was where his body was first found after all, over a decade ago. But it wasn't like it mattered to them. He was never seen. The ability of being a ghost after all. But sometimes he did wish to be seen. And on more than one occaision they had "Noticed" his prescence.

Re: The Mythos
This was it her first day in this comples. She sighed a little looking up at the upper floors. She was stuck with having her room on the top floor next to Mikoto and Kuroko. Sighing even more she picked up her bags and made the long trek up the stairs.

((so.... where is everybody? I'm not going to be to primary post-driver, am I?))
And this was one of those times as Kuroko entered the room with a yawn before stopping to stare at the bed. Though she couldn't see anything now, for a moment, she could have sworn she'd saw someone... It wasn't new. Both sisters had had the sames moments in that room, so they were sure it was some spirit, but it's not like they could do anything about it. Their father was the exorcist, not them. Well... they could simply throw out the old queen-sized bed and probably be rid of the spirit as well, but the bed and frame were in near perfect condition other then dust from sitting so long and beds that size were expensive...

(Ak's gone, and so its just us for a bit. Me you And Shugo.)
Miharu looked to them jealously. He wished he could be one of them. A human again. So he tried as he always did. "Welcome home" he whispered to nobody in particular

She sighed, after finally halling up all her luggage to the top floor, and dumping them on the ground. She looked down each hallway before digging in her pocket for the key to her room. The place seemed eerily deserted and quiet.

Re: The Mythos
"Thank-" Kuroko froze mid reply to look toward the bed. An outline, then nothing. She felt like she'd almost seen the spirit just then, when she started to reply without thinking. "...you..." She continued looking at the bed as she walked closer. She was just reaching out when Mikoto entered, startling her.
"Jeez, I've calling you, y'know?" she said as followed her sister's gaze to the bed. "Did you see it...?"
"I... I think I almost did," Kuroko replied as she stood up and put back the controller. "I'm guessing Dinner is nearly ready then, sister?"
Mikoto nodded. "Yeah. Come on while it's hot," she replied as she stepped back to let her twin through the door way. In perfect synchrony, the Twins turned to look back at the bed, a curious look on their faces, before turning back to walk to the kitchen area.

He sat up slightly, "Did she?" He drifted to the dinner table and Looked at Kuroko, "So what's for dinner?" That was the first time he had been heard since he died. "Can they realy hear me?"

Re: The Mythos
Kuroko shivered slightly and Mikoto's eyes glanced briefly toward him as the two ate, but otherwise didn't acknowledge him in the least at first. I was a good minute or two before the sister both paused in their generic meal in mirror image of each other. "Kuroko, did... did you hear that..?" Mikoto asked suddenly, but calmly as her sister shook her head.
"I feel that, Sister," Kuroko replied just as calmly. Both took a drink before reaching for and placing two objects relatively in front of him, a pen from Kuroko and a pad from Mikoto. "Hey, Introduce yourself."
"If you got the strength to be heard and felt, you got the strength to move things," Mikoto said after. "So start writing. We'll wait."

Re: The Mythos
He pice up the pen and pondered for a second. "What's my name? I...don't remember..." He instead drew a bed and a grotesque twisted human body. He then pulled a crudely drawn Arrow pointing to their mattress.

Re: The Mythos
At the picture, both sisters facepalmed. Not really from his drawing, so much as he confirmed that their effectively brand new mattress was indeed haunted. "Awesome..." they both said together as they took a drink.
"So, you're the spirit of the our mattress, killed there for some reason. Well that explains some things. Like why it was a 'free gift' from the previous owners," Mikoto said.
"And why the plastic smelled like bleach before we took it off," Kuroko finished before the sisters cleaned their plates with quickness and a practiced ease that told they were used to downing meals quickly for some reason or another. "So, can you tell us a Name or age at death?"
"Or even who or what killed you?" Mikoto added in as she took the plates to rise off in the sink.

He gabbed the pencil, more firmly this time, and the shape of his body emerged. He scrawled in horrible handwriting on the pad 178 yers

Re: The Mythos
Just great... she thought. The door knob was either stuck, broken, or a multitude of other possibiltys. She had been trying a good 10 minutes trying to get it open. Finally after trying everything she could think of the door swang open with a slightly loud banging noise as it hit the wall. Hoping that she didn't disturb her neighbors, assuming there was anyother people up here. She quietly picked up her bags and walked in.
