The fantasy world is called Baka and the main country is Aisling.

The basic history is that 1000 years ago, a giant meteor crashed into the world causing it to split into many countries with the giant crater right in the middle. The countries took all their prisoner, and heretics, all the races who weren't human and anyone else they didn't like and threw them into the creator and left them to die a slow forgotten death. However, they took what they could from the remains of the meteor and began building a life for themselves and it slowly became a town and then slowly they expanded. This of course irked the other countries and they banded together to wipe out the residents one and for all. However they didn't expect the residents to know how to fight and cast magic and drove ) and the magic-lacking countries away. As their last act, the countries somehow created a barrier that locked the area and it's people away. The occurrence and the event to those who saw it looked like a dream, and so the people called their new country Aisling.
1000 years has passed, but not they hatred....
