AMV Mixing

I know I haven't been on for a while. Really haven't had much to say.
But recently I was messing around with some AMVs on YouTube mixing them into interesting comboes by having multiple interenet windows open. Very low tech, but fun.
Anyway I took 2 versions of a song from Fafner called Shangri-La. The first video was the song done in Violin by TheScreamer, which was just the intrumentals and 2 variations The Screamer Did played at the same time, and the other was a fandub of the lyrics with video from Super Smash Bros Brawl.
Violin by The Screamer:

Fandub Lyrics:

The trick was to put the violin version on half volume with YouTubes volume control and keep the fandub at full volume. And you have to start the violin video about a second or 2 before you start the fandub video to get them to synk up. When its done right it sounds awesome.
Feel free to show your own mixes if you have any.

If you're a Code Geass fan, you might like this (But beware, spoilers if you haven't seen R2 episode 13...

Mute the AMV's music and set it to Use Somebody by Kings of Leon. They sync up PERFECTLY.
(OK, maybe ONE second off...)

I just wanna make it clear that I did not make those video's. They were by other people. I just came up with an interesting way of combining them without actually having to edit them myself.
fepkk I've seen that one too. Here's some more:
Played with Violin Sky Blue Days - Gurren Lagann opening song

Played with Violin Ash Like Snow - Gundam 00 opening song:

If you wanna see more of Tuengxx, a.k.a. TheScreamer here's his channel:

I'm always checking out his channel for new stuff.
Another good channel I check out is geekymcgeekstein, a.k.a. thedarknessvoid who does fan dubs of anime songs. She's really good:

Deffinitly worth checking out if you ever wonder what your favorite anime songs would sound like in english.
And just for a shameless plug here's my own AVI I made years ago:

Getting so someones channel is very easy. When you watch a video to the right it it shows the username of the person who put it up. Just click on their name and it will take you directly to their channel. If you have a YouTube account you can even press Subscribe next to their name and you will have a link to their channel on your channel.

Another combo I've come up with is for Ash Like Snow.
TheScreamers violin version:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVJ3xmr7 ... annel_page
geekymcgeekstein english fandub version:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmGZG8Um ... annel_page
Like with the first one you have to set TheScreamers version on half volume. And you need to start TheScreamers version first and wait about 5.5 seconds before you start the Fandub version to get it to sync up.

TheScreamer has put out another version of Shangri-La. This time its just his Violin and Piano. None of the other background music from the original song. It sounds really good. I bet some people might even confuse it for a classical song.
