Death of a Naruto character?[MAJOR SPOILER.]

In the latest Naruto Shippudden manga chapter, Kakashi and crew are in a deadly battle against Pain. However, Pain has proven to be too strong to fight against. Kakashi is trapped under the debris, his forehead bleeding. Pain then launches a nail before Kakashi had figured out his secret. The chapter ends with a black-outline of Kakashi's head getting hit with the nail. This could be the biggest death in Naruto since Itachi's. Is this the end of another great Naruto character?

Anyways, have we ever figured out what's under Kakashi's mask thingy? I don't think he'll die until that's finally revealed...unless whatever he's hiding only works as as a post-mortem thingy or something like that :/
I do think he'll die though, and it'll be bigger than Jiraiya's and Itachi's death.

Anyways, Kakashi isn't gonna die, There are plenty of twists avaliable atm, Pain Could have aimed for a Eye or Kakashi already has him in his Sharingan, Or it could just be a Clone....

Honestly. I expect Kakashi to die, but not at this very moment. He may be stuck, he may not be a clone, he may be alot of things right now.....BUT he still has yet to use MS. I seriously doubt Kakashi would want to go out without using the one thing that may save his life, and end Peins'.

Well, if he DOES die, this would be the worse possible death for him, getting impaled by an iron nail the size of a pinky. Honestly, cool characters deserve cool deaths, and look, Kimimaro and Itachi got cheated out, as they both died from sickness. What's next?
