No Mutation??

I almost have all the .hack games. Except Mutation . My brother was going to get it for my birthday, but this employee in the store he went to said they stopped making copies of it. Or something like that. Then I tried going GameStop I asked if they had it, they said no, they stopped making it . Is this true??

Maybe that could be true, but I don't think it's totally true. I mean, if it's sold online, I think they're still making it.

I wouldn't be too surprised if that was true. I am also in the same dilema as you, I only rented //Mutation. For some reason the hardest games to find are //Mutation and //Outbreak. I can always find //Infection and //Quarantine, but for some odd reason those two are the hardest to find. *shrug* Another problem that I have had is that when I have found //Mutation I always am too low on money and can't afford to buy it. Why must fate be so cruel to me? Oh well, I'll find it and buy at some time, and I can wait since I mainly want it for the OVA.

i don't think its true i found mutation at gamestop for 24.99 so they do still sell them in stores just hard to find.

It is true mutation is hard to find.all of my friends just ordered off the internet ebay or something.I'd think you would have better luck that way.All the other games weren't like that.lol, so if u get mutation u should b alright.

In the small town I live in, it's like "what's .hack?" the local video store only has part 3 of it available to rent (not to buy) , so I've ordered the first three on-line, as I will the fourth when I receive and finish #3 off

they did have tons of copies of star ocean 3 tho, but unfortantely I missed picking one up... still kicking myself over that lol...

they rent all of hack/sign, and then only have Outbreak to rent... seems strange...

I know people that have .hack games other than me, but when they tell other people about or i do it, they always say "what's that???"! I feel like Balmung2 and i are the only people in this town that know any thing other than you guys!Ihave a friend that loves video games, and when i reccomend .hack, i have to explain EVERYTHING!It's so hard and ithink everyone can agree that it takes a while to explain the game!I wish it were a more popular game like...well, you know what i mean.It's such a good game and people have no idea what they're mising because it's not very popular, well at least not around here.

True, anyway, getting back on topic , Its true, they dont make .hack//mutation, or outbreak anymore, but they do sell them, i have them both, and they were both used. , but at least they are able to find, right?It took me like a month to find mutation.

thats kinda funny cause the sam goody were i live has both games brand new but if you want to get them look on the net you should be able to get them brand new and for good prices

yeah, you can still find them in some stores, but those are mainly left overs(with very few exceptions)

go to gamestop.com and check it out for yourself and they are still make the .dot hack sign game of part 1-4 but in some places only and the place i can think of is onterial mill or the realto plaza.

Yeah, I had to buy Infection and Mutation off Amazon.com because they stopped making em.
Outbreak I got from K-Mart, and I've yet to buy Quarantine

There's always e-bay... (shiver) It is a little risky, but it is the only way I will get Quarantine, now.

You can always find them in used game stores like gamestop or eb games you just have to look hard enough they go for about 25$ apiece give or take a few dollars

wello actully im from australia and the games where very very common untill they were discontinued and they all dissappered. i finally found 1,2,3 and 4 in the same shop wOOt but they cost me alot and 2 and 1 are second hand but its worth it

Halfway through Infection, I decided that I wanted to get Mutation. So, my mom took me to many stores but they only had Outbreak or Quarantine. (But I bought those anyway) Our last hope was Game Stop which had only one brand new copy and one used copy. Of course I bought the new copy! But my mother and I were exhausted because it took us all day to find Mutation.
