Innis going from Shino to Atoli

I know that avatar Innis escaped from Shino to Atoli's PC after Shino was PKed but i have some questions about that. If Shino was an epitaph user than why did she fall into a coma after she was PKed? For example, when Atoli and Pi were PKed by "tri-edge" they didn't fall into comas and they did not lose their avatars. So what is the difference here? Did Tri-edge hold back when PKing Pi and Atoli or is there something else?

Inis wasent awakened so shino fell in to a coma unless the avatar is awakened the player will fall in to one. The avatar is what keeps plays from falling into a coma like if atoli was attacked and fell into a coma befour she awakened inis it would move on to some one eles. but after she awakened it she is ok which is why she was ok after the whole tri-edge incident in part 2.
off topic: HAHA got my moment to sound smart! >:^D (bit of an inside joke

I have a wild guess maybe they were infected when attacked. and it takes time for it to take effect, maybe in vol 3. Just a wild guess don't have to believe it.

Ok i get that but it just doesnt make sense how people attacked with AIDA (without epitaphs) fall into comas whereas people who are simply infected with AIDA dont. In the case of Bordeaux and Sakaki they are infected heavily with AIDA and yet they do not fall into comas even after Haseo defeats them. Is it because the people are working together with AIDA that they stop themselves from being comatose?

Because the AIDA dosent want them to simple as that. AIDA isent harming them. its the same as when AIDA stole atolis epitaph now in sakakis case he is fusing with AIDA to become one with it. its like this. AIDA is in a sense a paracite when it comes to people and a parasite dosent wantto kill its host dose it? well thats what I think anyway.
smart moment #2
Better get my smart moments befour aura twilight gets in here and totaly ruins my smart moments

No, I don't think its about the 'heart' that wants to destroy the enemies that makes the player fall into coma. Its more like the output of the power that the avatar used for the player.
Well, if Magus didn't used his Propagation agaisnt berserk Skeith, he will fall into coma. .
Or maybe : Higher Output ---> More rage (?)
Well, it kinds of depend with the user IMO.
Or maybe Avatar can't make players into coma . . . Because Ovan has an AIDA, and its possible that because of the AIDA, he unintentionally made Shino into coma . Same goes with Atoli at the moon tree too IMO.
So maybe, the AIDA is the one that made people into coma.
Avatar can't make a player into permanent coma (Much like Shino) , but its more likely than a comatose that has its own duration based on its power. Well, if Skeith gone berserk, its more likely that the duration coma will become permanent coma though >_>;

You all need to watch Roots. And quick.
When Naobi lured Ovan into Megin Fi, he was captured and had his character transported to the Serpent of Lore. After Ender attacked the Twilight Brigade, Shino proceeded to act upon Ovan's instruction to release information about the illegal activities of TaN, and she changed her character scheme from white to black. Yata (Naobi) discovered along with Pi (Ender) that Ovan's PC contains as much data as an entire field, and this causes Ovan pain, causing his AIDA to go out of control. He is then warped to Delta: Forbidden Holy Ground where he meets Shino. As Tri-Edge spiraled out of Ovan's control, it PKed Shino, leaving her in a coma. None of it was planned.

He is correct. Why do you think ovan revisited the place several times. He felt bad in some small way for what had happened (even though he did not plan it). LINK REMOVED (by sye) has all of the roots episodes. Watch them and understand. Search: hack roots (ep #)

i would advise to remove the link before a mod come by, its forbidden to link to complete episode or video violating copyright and all that legal mumbo jumbo

It was never actually stated inside the game though.
But I guess it does reveal that Innis = Atoli.
Though, that was kinda revealed, along with Ovan, Yata, and Sakubo in the 2005 Preview.
And you people make me feel stupid. D:

But either way, you're admitting that the Avatars can do things to the human player without the assistance of AIDA.
Of course . . . But it doesn't mean that the avatars could make people coma like AIDA; AIDA's Coma's effect is different than avatar. . . . Well, that's what I think . That's what I meant ^^;

http://www.veoh.com has all of the roots episodes.
There's a better place than that 0.0;
Lol, can anyone imagine Shino's Innis ? Maybe the colour of Innis will change to black if Shino still got it >.<

If this stuff is never revealed in the game, then where the hell are you people getting these ideas from? is it just speculation? =/ And besides, whoever it was who said that an Epitaph User can fall into a coma if data-drained when they haven't awakend yet is wrong, because Haseo hadn't awakened when he got drained by Azure Kite.

.hack//Truth (which I think was a magazine-type thing) and .hack//G.U. Perfect Guidebook are where the "Innis left Shino" and "Haseo is Sora" things come from. Both are totally canon and can't really be argued against.
