I'd like to answe you,but I don't have any actual idea,apart from knowing other games and shows that the team who made it created.

Are you talking about the game itself as in the producer or ' The World' creator as AT above posted?

There's no one "creator", it's a huge project. It originated from CC2, though, and the president of that company/director of G.U. is Hiroshi Matsuyama.

I've been told that the game was originally going to be called "Moon Crow"(Awsome name) and that it was going to be about stealing,but it was changed to hacking,and things went from there.
May I say,creators,that "Moon Crow" was an awsome name choice.
Watch the last dot hack game be called .hack//Moon Crow...that would b eawsome...but it won't happen....
