Missing Scenes? *Spoilers*
So I beat Volume 2 recently, and I realized that some scenes from the Volume 2 Preview shown at the end of Volume 1 were missing. I don't know exactly whether it was just translated differently or omited in both the Japanese and English versions but here are the ones I have noticed.
"The real me that should be looking at this Haseo that's on the screen."
-By Haseo, not really sure if this is suppose to be referring to the events inthe AIDA server and was translated differently, but I don't recall hearing it anywhere.
"AIDA's observation room!"
-By Gabi, never heard this anywhere......
"Get stronger, consume all happiness and sadness and use that as your stepping stone."
-By Ovan, I don't remember this anywhere either

First, it just a preview that gets you pumped up for the next game, and the way its shown doesn't garantee that everything will be accutrate, until a offical trailer comes out then its pretty much whats going to be shown from there on out.
The reason for this is because they started making Vol 2 after or during the making of Vol 1, so the creators probably decided to change a few things, like those lines. Like for the Gabi line, they were probably thinking about making him a little more active but decided not to or something.
Of course, they could always be lines for Vol 3 instead, but probably not true, since Ovan wouldn't really say that last line to Haseo in Vol 3, unless at the beginning since well...what happens at the end...
Thats my 2 cents on what happen, anyone else could explain if they wish.

He says it when everyone is trying to log out.dre4life90 wrote: "The real me that should be looking at this Haseo that's on the screen."
It's rephrased.
It was changed to Ovan saying it,and it was changed to "labratory"."AIDA's observation room!"
when Nala,Haseo,Gabi, and Ovan met it was said.
When Ovan was unlocking his arm."Get stronger, consume all happiness and sadness and use that as your stepping stone."
It was rephrased as well, like many things in the preview.
Post any one them, and I'll tell you where the rephrase/paraphrase is.

Yeah basically a lot of those lines got rewritten. This could be due to Vol.1 being recorded seperately from Vol.2-3 (They were waiting to see how it did mainly) All JP. volumes on the other hand were more or less recorded all together, and the preview lines are exactly the same as they are in the game as are previous volume flashbacks and in fact battle voices and such are the same for all three volumes.

Wait a second, how exactly did the Japanese writers re-translate them? Those lines appear the same in both Japanese versions of the game. But for example, in the Volume 2 preview Kuhn says, "Are we in a really bad nightmare?!" While in the actual game he says something along the lines of, "Is this some kind of really bad dream." Albiet they're the same thing....but I like being consistentAzure crow wrote:They didn't retranslate them, the japanese writers did.
It there fault.
but I though it added the extra twist of placing and unparaphrasing the lines.
Go ahead, throw any of them at me.
I'll tell you where any of them are.
