As for coloring--if you think it's atrocious, then let me advice you to add shade to the rose? I like what you did with the stems.

Um... I believe I did sorta shade... It just didn't show up very well in the scan... hm... ah well.

Ok, so I guess there was some confusion on the second pic... Don't worry, I'm no amateur. I do know how to draw chibi, it's just that I haven't done it in so long. Plus, I have an OCD for details (trying to do something about that, so that'll kinda mess things up... Well, I guess I don't always follow the tradition with some art styles, but I got the main parts down. I guess my "chibis" are gonna be mini people. ^^;

Wellies, I'm sure that everyone attempted to draw from time to time, and when they didn't like the way it came out, they stopped... I've been practicing ever since I could hold a pencil... (a long time ago...) Even though my drawings sucked in the beginning, I just kept going (and study how anime artists draw). However... anime is the only thing I CAN draw... gah! weaknesses..... sigh.
