Thanks, it's only the second sig and avi I ever made, if you look at my myspace, you'll see my first one enlarged as a banner. I figured with a name like "twilight" haseo, i'd have cooler colors to match my name. Anyway, thanks.

I agree. The color scheme matches perfectly with the name and the colors are also very versitile colors as well, creating images not even there, such as the thought of it actually being twilight in the pics. I may sound crazy, but my art teacher's terms rubbed off on me last year. Lol. :D

It seems many artists on this forum specifically, portray their names properly coupled with their avatars and signatures. It's called "fludiity", complimenting the association of visual with written, making the pieces fall in place. A "twilight" wouldn't give off that notion if the images were all "bright and happy", and an Itachi wouldn't look natural to origin in blue or white, though I have aesthetic perceptions on these comparisons, so this is all IMO to save arguement. I enjoy seeing different works, and enjoy different people's company. Social diffusion is important for relations to prosper, in all aspects of life, and art is one way to convey that quality. I'm no art major, but I understand that much at least. All of you are great artists and people in your own ways, those who change are merely phony, trying to fit into a crowd that wouldn't accept them otherwise.

I merely stay true to who I am, I change for absolutely nobody. It's brought about both respect and gossip for me, since many cannot handle the "truth", instead they would rather just "hear what they want to hear", to avoid being "hurt." I've had a life of many experiences and hardships, and there's little that can phase me, though I feel that spreading knowledge and ideas between people can have a better and positive impact with those "just coming in", rather than holding the knowledge to oneself and being arrogant about it. The youth needs to grow, and it's up to veterans, to teach them properly. I mean this not just for .hack, but for anything regarding proper teaching or advisement. I emphasize proper because many people fail in that department.

Black and White, or very low saturation works better than color in some cases, depending on the piece, though I would say it worked somewhat for your signature. I give it a 6.5/10, having it in full color would not have changed my rating, it's an unbiased opinion regardless. For the avatar, I would say 6/10.

You don't need to apologize for your own work, I didn't phrase my words in the attempt to sound negative and bash on it, because it's a good sig in general, just not "awe-inspiring". On the other hand, If you personally feel that you have created a good sig and worked hard on it, why change it? People's opinions are only formulated because it's how they themselves see the piece, not everyone will love or hate the same work. It doesn't look "crappy" as you put it, sometimes simple is better anyway. My idea of "crappy" is someone manifesting a third grade-level MS Paint signature, with absolutely no effort or devotion, THAT would be "crappy". If you have self-satisfaction in your work, that's all you need, f*ck what other people say about it. The only opinion that matters at the end of the day, is your own. Good job on it.

Image Another 10-15 Minute one.

Lining Effects were does w/ Custom Paintbrushes called Com-Chip, Modified by yours truly.

Glowing light effects were just dots from a Round Paintbrush, then 0% Filled w/ Inner and Outer Glow to how i liked it.

Haseo is on Luminosity w/ 3 Main Backgrounds, 2 Haseo Layers, w/ Highlighted and Edited Colored Areas

Background one is, a Dark Purple background 50% Transparency to add less strength to Haseos Luminosity

Selected Areas on Haseo w/ Right Click to Add Selection Copied, Pasted, Set another layer for his hair and modified it to glow.

Image Previous One, 5 Minute one.

Which one do you prefer ?

I noticed i posted this in the wrong thread awhile back.

Nauda
Avi: .5/10, because it's just a badly shrunk version of a bigger picture
Sig: 7.9/10, Cool effects, but the color choices give me bad memories of my grandpa's old t-shirt

Rykar
Avi: 8/10, the leaves are bugging for some reason...
Sig (Dandellion): 8.5/10, nicely done but kruffy just isn't the right font for that sig
Sig (Shojo): 9/10, cute but one of the girls' ribbons are cutten off and I still don't understand for the little leaves
