Raven: { sitting on the ground against the geyser he seems unconscious as Yukari made her entrance} * phew....need to concentrate on healing*....{ as yukari tells raven to retreat} don't worry about me { he stands up as he seems a bit better} it would take alot more than this to take me down hey...I don't know if your some sort of battle angel?....no your a battle android?....wow thats certaintly intertesting...but we don't have time for that know... I'll cover your back { he rushes into a group of vampires as he slices his way through} ORRRYYAAA!!!! { he swipes his sword as he slices a vampire in half as he grabs another one with his claw and slams it into the ground} raaagghh!!! { he notices Mary} finally the calvary arrives { he smirks} *tch crap I can allready feel my body giving out on me I need to get past the geyser*....DAMN! { he dodges an attack barely as the fatigue begins to affect him}

GOLEM: { arises from the earth} RAAAHHH!!1

Raven: their last line of offensive huh?...dammit { he holds his side as it starts bleeding from a wound earlier}

Female rookie: sir gerald!...lower the geyser theirs reinforcements outside of the wall they need our back up...SIR!

Gerald: { suffering from a claw wound in his side} I got it { he walks towards the geyser} i can't lower it...but I'll make it shoot out!

The enemy standing before Raven moved the attack and paused as it slid off its hips, split in half by her weaponry. "I repeat. It is recommended for you to retreat before it is too late for you," Yukari restated as she cleared the area in front on Raven before turning to force the Golem. "I will take care of this." Her blade vanished as she ran toward the Golem, Jumping clear over it as it swung down to dent the ground harmlessly. She spun back, energy hardened her fist, as she punched the back of the Golem's thigh, the stone cracking beneath the force of the Android's punch. The Golem roared and swung back to miss her as she rolled between its legs and kicked out, nearly shattering the damaged leg as the Golem stumbled.

Everyone's HUD and mental links would occasionally blink out for a second, minor injuries would close during those moments or a vampire would get telekinetically thrown back just before dealing a killing blow to a hunter. During one of those moments the geyser suddenly reacted the way Gerald had wanted, but he hadn't gotten a chance to do anything. "Get going. Your mission is survival." He said to Gerald's unit.

They blinked out for a longer moment this time and a projection of Xander appeared next to Raven, touching his side. "This will hold you over for now, but come see me when this is finished." When he disappeared Raven's injury had closed, it wasn't fully healed, but the bleeding was stopped and he wouldn't risk reopening it.

A lack of living consciousness meant that neither the HUD, nor Xander's projection appeared to Yukari as she dodged back from the Golem as it dropped to one 'knee', its damaged 'thigh' nearly shattering under it's immense weight. "Charging..." Her arm shone once more as she faced her arm cannon at the Golem. "R-Cannon!" The resulting cannon blast cratered the Golem's chest, knocking it on its back with a roar as Yukari slid back and and summoned her next weapon. "This will end it."

"Commencing destruction of target!" Yukari stated as the F*BSHOT formed in her hands and the Golem rose up right on time. The first High-Impact shell rocked the Golem as the shell dug into its chest. The second hit the first with pin-point accuracy as the hole deepened and the thick stone body cracked. The third shell hit the first two within the hole perfectly, the Explosive shell tearing apart the Golem from inside out as its powerful body shattered from the contained blast and its remainders fell apart on their own as the magic faded. Yukari vanished the weapon as she looked around, the remaining Vampires staying well clear of the Battle Android now as she turned and finally laid eyes on the injured Raven. It took less then seconds for her sensors to identify Raven as the Vampire he was, but the inconsistencies of the situation kept her from attacking immediately. The first was the fact that he wore a Guild uniform and badge. Secondly, he was fighting off other vampires. An Anomaly to her, she formed her R-Blade, but paused in her approach.

Zorlo spent most of his time dealing with all of the semantics and necessities of humans. Vampires and humans both were so near sighted it was sad. Whoever won the war was irrelevant, as there would always be a next war. "Pathetic... They live, they fight, they die, and the claim heroism and bravery settle the score. Good and evil are just subjective terms we use to describe those people we wish to have and those we don't. The complications of being a mortal."

Ouroboros was quiet for a long moment as it seemed to be deeply caught in thought of Zorlo's statement. Stop that girl before she kills that vampire. You can figure out your purpose and the purpose of that girl when you're done, skippy.

Zorlo nodded as he floated over and dropped the picture in front of Yukari, causing it to materialize as it fell towards her, text first. "The less I have to reveal myself, the more power I can conserve for if I need to get involved in this senseless slaughter. My best hope is that these two sides wipe each other out... so neutrals like Yukari and I... those people who are merely tools to some greater force... can take over. Our vision is not so black and white as these people's," Zorlo stated as he crossed his arms.

Once more, Yukari looked up at the sensor anomaly she now knew to be Zorlo as the picture shifted into the material plain. With computer precision, Yukari caught the picture from the air, she reading the message even as he passive sensors locked on to Raven, just in case. Once she turned it over to see the picture, the Anomaly known as Raven was explained. An Allied Vampire. The possibility or knowledge of such an event was not logged into her memory. She made a note to pursue more information later as she made a separate note on Raven. "Acknowledged. Raven is a part of the Guild forces and is not to be exterminated," she spoke to no one in particular as she vanished both picture and sword before approaching the injured Vampire. "The way has been cleared. Please take this time to escape. I with provide cover."

Raven: * thanks Xander* { he blocks an oncoming attack heading for the female rookie}

Female rookie: huh?....RAVEN?!...what are you doing here

Raven: shut up.... you have to be more careful rggh get going theirs a clear path

Female rookie: what are you going to do?!

Raven: don't worry i'm gonna deal with these assholes and follow you go AMY!

Gerald: all forces ADVANCE!!! { his force starts to press forward as the evacuate safely including Amy}

Raven: allright { he senses the oncoming explosions} crap! hey android girl,DONNALY! we need to go now! { he slices through a vampires as it;s about to go for the android and Raven slices a second vampire with his claw covering mary} GO! { he starts to run with mary and yukari down the path they created}

She could moved her shikigami towards the exit. If anything happened, they could cover quickly before going back to the place they were summoned from. She had fulfilled her objective. That was enough for her to feel satisfied, since Raven wasn't a person that didn't know how to defend himself.

Raven: DAMMIT! { he starts dodging attacks} HEY! { he grabs a straggling hunters collar as he drags him towards the exit} DAMN! { he cuts down any vampires in his way as he approaches the exit he looks back} Hey Android!... { he looks towards donnely as he notices the shikigami} lets get out of here you two!... { he readies his blade as he approaches the last wave standing in his way} RAAAGGHHH!!!!!

Mary moved quickly, summoning her familiars back as Raven finished off the last wave. The mission would soon be finished. All that was left was getting Raven and the remains of the group back to headquarters. That would be enough to allow her a break.

Yukari was mostly using her F*GSHOT to help clear the way for the others as Raven spearheaded the retreat, pausing only to aid other Hunters to get away and to draw Vampires from others. She just save another when Raven's yell got her attention. most of the other were gone, so she no longer needed to lag back and play 'Rearguard Decoy' anymore. Two shot took out a Vampire's knees, dropping her to her knees for Yukari to use as a spring board to leap high into the air. Her F*BSHOT came to her hands as she aimed it for the ring a Vampires she vacated and fired. The resulting explosion cleared the area as Yukari turned and ran to catch up, killing as needed. She'd catch up in a moment or two.

Things seem to be going pretty smoothly for the flesh bags, wouldn't you say? Ouroboros asked as Zorlo simply watched the retreat continue.

"I had hoped to see a few more of them die beautifully in search of their empty sense of justice, but I guess that the guy who seems to be leading them is somewhat smarter than I gave him credit for. I do believe... he's a vampire..."

If only things were that simple. Not only is he a vampire, he's a vampire that possess some brand of dark or shadow magic. I can smell it emanating from him.

Zorlo rubbed his chin thoughtfully and smiled. "I see, so he's a shadow magic user, you say?"

If my senses haven't totally left me, I do believe he may be. Again, though, foolish boy, shadow or darkness. Its hard to tell since I haven't gotten much of his scent.

Zorlo simply crossed his arms and nodded. "Hmm..." he said as his fingers began to tingle. "I'm going through spacial resonance. It seems our employer is attempting to contact us..." Zorlo said as his body vanished from where it was and arrived somewhere else, undisclosed to even him. "What'd I do now?" he protested, lowering his hat and sighing. "I'm doin' as you asked. I'm keeping an eye on her... she's doin' her job, killing the vampires... but sadly not the humans, but that's neither here nor there. What's up?" Zorlo asked as Ouroboros slithered out of his body.

"Yes. What is it you desire?" the serpent asked disdainfully.

Raven: AAAHHH!!! { he slices through the last vampire blocking his way as the explosives start to go off} CRAP!!! { the three of them run out of the plant} dammit! { the explosions send him flying} OW! { he rolls across the ground} *cough* ack * cough* what the hell was that what if some of our guys were still in there!?!?! { he looks around the see the collapsed entrance to the plants...as his vision becomes cloudy}.....*damn* { his side starts bleeding again as he collapses from fatigue}

Mary looked towards Raven, realizing that she couldn't finish her mission if he died. She'd have to do something to get him to safety. She quickly grasped his arm, pulling his body over her shoulder. The weight was heavy, but she had done something like this before. Yes, something that she should never talk about. She had done this before with a body that was dead. If Raven died, she would not be able to face the guild properly. She ran as quick as she could towards the direction of the guild. It would take longer if she waited for him to wake up.

"Now now... Is that a tone you should use with me, Geminus Anguium: Ouroboros?" The Boss replied as Ouroboros writhed for a moment as if in pain. The two of them were floating in a pink and violet, pulsating space. The Boss sat on the air before them, her image so blurred, it was impossible to tell what she must look like. "As for you, Zorlo, you haven't done anything wrong...yet. Don't take it the wrong way. It's natural to screw up, so I'm waiting to see if and when you do, that's all. But is neither here... nor there..." She said as she gestured whimsically. "Anyway, I have a new task for you two." She pointed and a crimson crystal with a black sphere sealed within appeared in Zorlo's hands. "Relay that to Yukari. Now, open wide, Ouroboros!" She suddenly said as she flicked something at them. Ouroboros' head yanked forward and its mouth pulled open to catch whatever it was and flash as it was absorbed. "That will help you keep track of Yukari. And vice-versa. Oh, and Zorlo..." Somehow, he could tell she smiled. "Next time, carry out orders before it's almost too late. After all, you might become another 'Player' soon, instead of being one of the audience, and I can't have lazy players..." she finished as Zorlo was sent back.

Yukari, Meanwhile, simply watched as Mary took off with Raven. "Mission Accomplished," she stated to no one in particular as she started to walk off and stopped as Zorlo appeared behind her. She looked back at him for a moment before walking away again, toward the store Xander mentioned before about acquiring a cellphone to contact him.

Xander sent a thought to Ouroboros, "Well she seems lovely. I'd love to meet her."

As the battle came to a close Xander ended the majority of the links, erasing anything that might let somebody identify him from their memories. One of the remaining links was Raven, Mary, Ouroboros, and Zorlo. He set a waypoint for them at his office.

Xander got up to his feet and fell through the doorway, onto the floor of his office. He pulled himself up into his chair and slumped there, waiting for the others to arrive.

[Zorolo]

Zorlo and Ouroboros growled. "Stupid son of a-... Zorlo muttered as Yukari continued to walk. "Not you..." he said, resting his hand against his face. "Not that you'd understand being insulted... even if it isn't you I'm insulting..." Zorlo muttered on as he watched her continue to walk. "Hey, wait up! I got something from your creator! Here!" he said as he rushed after her, holding his hand out. "That person gave me this crystal for you. It'll allow you to detect me or something, and I have one to keep track of you. That's all."

Zorlo paused as he looked at the sky for a moment. He felt almost like it should have been raining... or even more unusual, perhaps blood rain would fit. What would he do now? Would he have to be a player now? Why the hell should he?! Who cared if humans and vampires wiped each other out? Or maybe it wasn't that... maybe... Zorlo did have to keep Yukari safe if she were too damaged. He doubted she'd need him for that much, but he would stick to the job that had been given to him.

Keep this in mind, Xander Zorlo sent his thought to the man, Humans and vampires. You're all the same to me. My only job in this isn't as a member of the guild, but a neutral third party. My job is to keep people like me and beings like Yukari from being used by either you or the vamps. WHoever wins and whoever loses, that's your business. Whoever wins, we're likely to be purged next because we're neither you, nor them. Don't peddle me your 'peace for all races' crap either, I don't care what you say. Leaders don't affect the judgement of the people. The average people are afraid of anything even slightly unusual, it has to be destroyed. Explain to them that vampires and robots and other beings helped, and they'd call you a liar. Remember that, Zorlo stated firmly as he crossed his arms.

Zorlo, we must keep our position in tact. We need to protect this girl. What that man thinks or knows what we think is unimportant. Your philosophy isn't any of his business, as their philosophy and beliefs aren't any of ours. Leaders make the choices they deem fitting... what happens after that is out of their control. For now, let us focus.

Zorlo nodded. Ouroboros is right. I'll work with you all so long as my job requires it, but don't think, for a moment, that you're my boss. I have no issue leaving any of the hunters but that android to their own demise. I'm just making sure you understand my position in this whole affair, Zorlo thought as he looked at Yukari. "Anyway, Xander wants you back in his office. Much to my chagrin, I will be joining you."

"Please wake up! Don't die on me!" Mary found herself at the office, her mind confused for a moment. She had seen herself holding her brother as she ran towards somewhere safe. Her parents on her tail as she ran away. This would not change her view on hunting vampires that deserved to be punished. She refocused on Raven and entered the office. This happened once in awhile, but it passed easily.

As May arrived she and Raven were taken off the network, memories left intact, of course at this range it didn't make any difference for Xander himself. "Thank you for bringing him Donnelly. You performed exceptionally today. Please, relax and help yourself to anything you like, this isn't anything official so if you want to leave that's fine too. The android and her watcher should be here soon." His office had a number of comfy chairs, a fruit basket, dozens of crystals were scattered about, there were a few posters featuring rabbits on the walls, a handful of photos were on his desk, a pull out bed couch, and other amenities. The photos included one of Donnely, from when Xander had first met her, Raven, also when they first met, Yukari's from earlier that day, and a number of other hunters, all deceased.

Raven was levitated onto a table and Xander rolled over to the unconscious man and turned up his sleeves. A blue glow emanated from his hand as he repaired some of the damage. He picked up a wine bottle from the fridge and as soon as he opened it the smell made it clear it was not wine. He poured some of it down Raven's throat.

Yukari stopped and turned, extending her hand to accept the crystal, which floated above her palm. Her left eye's iris cracked and changed red as she stared at it for a moment before it vanished and her eye returned to normal. "Acknowledged. However, I will completing a previous task first before returning to him office. I trust this is acceptable," Yukari replied to him as she continued on to the shop that Xander had told her to acquire a purse and and cellphone. It only took a few minutes before she emerged, the purse and cellphone vanishing as she hand Zorlo the cellphone he was supposed to receive. "Let us continue to Xander's office as planned now," she said to him.
