You seem to have missed the point. If you're gonna use AIDA as a defense, then Atoli and the rest could make it on their own just fine, when AIDA isn't involved.

and she still came back through all of that. Now Alkaid,

-Lost her title as Emperor (So what?)

-Slashed by Skeith

-Get's PK'ed by AIDA infected Bourdeux

Never came back until the Cubia arc near the end of Vol.3


Overall, Atoli can damn well take care of herself better than Alkaid can in situations.

Epitaphs don't really do anything to protect their Users in the described situations. Infact, in all of them, they made Atoli not only the target, but MORE vulnerable than a normal person.

But she still over came it. She was suicidal, but she overcame it. She was lonely, and she established friends in people no one else can reach. Atoli has proven herself time and time again to be the second-strongest GU character next to Haseo, despite how she sees herself.

As for Alkaid? She gloats, then ****, then whines, then blushes, then crushes, then dies, then wakes up, and doesn't learn a damn thing or improve in any goddamned way. The only reason she doesn't have a flat chest is to distract us from her flat character. She's nothing.

Given that she did absolutely ***** nothing at all to proceed the story from volume 2 onwards, (actually she didn't do anything worthwhile in the first volume either, huh) I'd say it would've been much better if she'd just stayed as a side-character. This is why Japan is terrible, "OH HEY THIS **** IS PRETTY POPULAR, LET'S PUT SOME MORE OF HER IN HERE SO WE CAN MAKE MORE MONEY. IT'S NOT LIKE WE COULD DO SOMETHING WORTHWHILE WITH ALL THIS SPACE WE'VE GOT LEFT ON THE DISC, RIGHT?"

I honestly have nothing more to add to what has been said about Alkaid, don't exactly hate her, but if we threw her out of the party roster we could have more worthwhile (and sadly even more underdeveloped) characters like Sirius, Taihaku, Gabi, Gabi, Gabi again, Gabi one more time to take up more space and make sure Alkaid has NO CHANCE of being playable in any form, and three more Gabi's to take up Bordeaux, Kaede, and Antares' spaces (Insert your coveted character where there's a Gabi and replace any other unwanted characters with Gabi).

Yes, I realized before that Sirius was 26. Him and Alkaid together still makes more sense than Haseo in my opinion. Sirius and Alkaid had an actual past and therefore a pre-established relationship of some sort.

From what I can tell, we were having a serious argument as to why Alkaid is a bad character who shouldn't be paired with Haseo, I do not see any serious and baseless insults to the character in any post this past page. There was a similar argument about Shino the previous couple of pages, and that ended nicely without a lock or anything. Perhaps if you weren't so butthurt this could be settled nicely as well.
