Emoto lifted up his hand,"ehm.... am I just gonna be ignored?" he looked at the announcer,"oh.. sorry, didn't see you there!" Emoto was evidently hurt by those words, and slumped to the the floor,"at least be srious.. I don't want people making jokes about the fact that no-one notices me..." he looked over the arena, seeing that one of the players on chess' team had only just arrived. Emoto's temper boiled as the young man calmly grabbed a seat, then looked over at Emoto, smiling and waving as friendly as possible, And if it weren't for Pyramid head's aura, he would've snapped at that very second. meanwhile.. the stone Pyramid head had turned back into it's original form, and was walking back up top it's own pedestal...

"Help me! Don't let me die!"

"I cannot help you." Hei's scared eyes stared at a woman above him. One who just a moment ago, had promised her hand in marriage to him. "You chose this path because you loved me, not your pride."

Hei's eyes opened suddenly, widening a moment. He felt odd, like he had just seen something, but not at the same time. "Hei-san?" A pawn asked gently, patting his head. "Are you alright?"

"Yes, I'm alright." He spoke, feeling like whatever he had seen was slipping away.

Saito looked at Milly and the girl, "...it was a rock..." he pulled the rock out of her forehead and then took Healing angel off Milly's neck and healed her cut closed, although she was sleeping. "So you're giving her a weapon?"
_____

Ai smiled and pushed Emoto forward, "Have fun! Remember, all we need to do is win two more!" She smiled again then yawned, "Actually you can lose if you want."

Milly looks from the ring up to Saito and then rears back on his hind legs and acts like he's swinging a sword with his forepaws briefly before gravity forces him back on all fours. What? Does he expect me to use it? I suppose I could if I actually wanted to, but I don't want to use that form if I don't have to. Still... He meows his thanks for helping the girl and then scurries over to Ai and rubs his back against her legs purring contently, until he accidentally touches his side that got cut to her leg. At which point he yelps and looks back at it. He curls up next to her foot and tries to keep from moving and aggravating the wound.

Emoto rubbed the back of his head. He smiled nervously as a drop of sweat ran down it. His opponent stepped forward as Pyramid Head finished off the corpse left by the previous battle. Emoto shivered slightly, then sook his head, looking at the young man from before who had stepped forward onto the pitch. He was using a large, crescent shaped scythe ARM as a weapon. Emoto smirked,"if that's the case... I need to play by strategy... not brute force..." he took out two ARMs, the thousand needles and the dark reflector, then he waited for his enemy to make a move..

Ai stepped back, stepping on Milly entirely. "Damn cat!" She was about to kick Milly when Saito tackled her, "It's hurt..." Her eyes dimmed as a chess piece laughed, "Look they're fighting amongst themselves. How pathetic." Ai sighed then grinned, "Get off me you pervert! Keep your hands off my chest!" Saito's face turned red, 'I didn't touch her chest...' She began to cry, "Why are boys like this? Get off of me!" She kicked him between the legs and pushed him off her, I win the look on her face told it all.

Little Saito looked at them, "...Are you alright Ai?" She wiped away her tears, "I'll be alright!" she hugged him and lifted him in the air.

Owie, why do humans always insist on stepping on us cats? What did we do to them? I mean, I know I've robbed, attacked, and even killed a few humans, but those were nearly all almost entirely business. A cat's gotta eat too. And what's with him? Milly glares and growls at the laughing chess piece. He even snaps at him a few times before curling up next to the unconscious girl. I hope she'll be alright.

Chi watched the scene with a slight sigh, glaring at Milly while she remained in her room. "What an idiotic cat, thinking that things will be alright."

Milly looks up, scratching behind one of his ears. I feel like someone's watching me. He lets out a long yawn. Oh well, I hope they like watching a cat sleep. He looks over at Emoto's fight before shutting his eyes. How long is he going to take? I hope I can sleep for a good while.

Emoto watched as his opponent rushed at him repeatedly. He used his future sight ability to avoid most of the attacks, flowing with them as if they were nothing. After managing to ensnare his opponent through this method, he jumped when the Chess piece swept low, then activated thousand needles. numerous spikes shot up from underneath the Chess Piece. Emoto landed on top of one, balancing on the tip. the stone spires then retracted almost instantly, leaving the Chess Piece - seemingly unharmed - in the center of the arena. Emoto smiled as the Chess Piece's team-mates jeered at him, then turned to them, smiling demonically,"be careful you guys.." the Chess Piece's body suddenly fell into a bloody pile of flesh,"or that might just happen to you.." he lifted up hi hand, then looked at the Pyramid head advancing towards him. he activated dark reflector, which caused the creature to split itself in two. Emoto chuckled,"that's another point to our team.. isn't it?" Surame had been watching from a distance,"so he did use the advice I gave him.. hiding the dark reflector in amongst the thousand needles was pretty impressive.. his opponent got confused, then ended up cutting himself to shreds.." she sighed,"Emoto's learning pretty quickly, but he still hasn't used that new Belt ARM of his. I wonder what it does..."

Little Saito hugged Emoto, "You won, Now it's my turn!" He looked at the pyramid head, almost trembling, "...I'm ready to fight Mr. Announcer..." The announcer sighed as a young Bishop took the stage, "A kid? A freaking kid?" He smiled, "Go home and play with some toys." Little Saito's eyes looked down, "Shut up!" The Chess Piece swung at him, but Little Saito jumped up, "Hermes!" He landed on the spear and then used it to launch himself in the air. "...What the hell?" He looked up and saw he couldn't see Little Saito, "Hey announcer, did he lan-" CRAAAAACCK! The sound of Little Saito's foot was very lound as it hit the bishop in the back of the head, "I don't think he's dead." He smiled as a pyramid head rose up behind him

Guess, I won't be napping after all. His eyes open half-way lazily, and then shoot open as he sees the pyramid head coming up behind Little Saito. Kitty litter! He doesn't see it. Why isn't Ai doing anything? He bolts towards Little Saito, as the pyramid head raises its weapon. I won't make it like this. And if I try to use my ARM of Fire I might fry him too. I had hoped to avoid doing this, but he's just a kid. A scene from six years ago flashes across his vision as Millintica transforms, slamming his shoulder into the pyramid head's side, knocking its aim off just enough that it misses Little Saito. He uses a palm thrust amplified by his meow meow wave to launch it away.

The force of the attack sends Millintica flying back as well. He flips pushes off the ground with his hands and skids to a stop at the edge of a lava flow on all fours. Good, I made it. He takes a moment to catch his breath before walking over to Ai and slapping her. "Why didn't you do anything?! He's your little brother, isn't he?! And even if he weren't, he's a kid, just like the girl over there, neither of them should be anywhere close to something like this!" After he finishes his rant he falls down to all fours as pain shoots through his side. He places a paw on and feels the sticky warm blood wet it. Great, I think I tore it open some more.

Chi began laughing bitterly, tears letting out of her eyes. "What's the point you idiotic cat?! You think children are so precious?!" She began to fist, the man from before pulling her against him. "It's not fair! He doesn't understand! He doesn't...he doesn't..." Her cries turned to sobs. "Agatha-san. Agatha-san..." The man stroked her hair while she began to calm down.

"Chi-sama..." He spoke, kissing her head lightly. "No one wants to see it, the bonds breaking. No one wants to see Agatha-sama like you do. Kami-sama knows." After a few moments, she became silent, almost dormant of anything.

Ai took the chance as she saw it, and pressed her hand against his throat locking him onto the floor, "Listen to me Milly, I let Saito there because he told me he could do it, and he did, now why didn't I save him? Because all it takes is a split second for him, his ÄRM is ridiculously fast." She lifted him up, "And, you let that girl fight, and what's worse, you couldn't do anything at all to save her, you just sat there and almost let her die." She smacked him back "Now tell me why you let her fight? Cause she wouldn't let it be anyother way right?" Little Saito ran up to her, "Ai...don't hurt him, he's already hurt" she nodded, "I forfeit, let us go back home now." Saito nodded and looked to Milly, "Do you want me to carry you or would you prefer if I carried the girl?"

Agatha's eyes opened, looking up as she saw Hei was beside her. He was sitting with effort, the pawns around him. "Hei-san." She spoke with a smile, getting up slowly. He smiled towards her as well.

"Agatha-sama, it seems like so many of us are getting weak." She nodded, putting a hand to the one on his lap. "Kami-sama left just a few minutes ago." She nodded again.

"I'm strong enough to do what I must. He can help only so far." Hei leaned back a little, laying down. "May I...just rest here..." His eyes were shutting, a soothing hand stroking his head.

"Of course." She looked towards the pawns. "Take good care of him, I have to go and see someone." The pawns nodded, watching as she stood and walked the best she could.

Emoto stood to the side, watching the scene with Ai, Milly and little Saito. he mulled over what had happened, then rubbed his forehead with the tips of his fingers. He looked over at the side where the chess pieces were, glowering at them. for some reason, their usual aggression had completely died away. Maybe it was because of the shadow that Shirai cast over them. It had an inhuman shape, and seemed to cause the light and darkness around it to waver. as Emoto turned away, the shadow slowly shrank back into him, causing the chess pieces to stare in silent awe, and fear...

Milly looks up past Saito for a long moment. She's right. I shouldn't have let her participate. But even if his ARM is lightning fast, if you don't notice the attack it may as well take an hour to do anything, and just because I'm a hypocrite that doesn't mean she should be one too. "Carry the girl. I can paw along just fine. But I might need to borrow your healing angel later, that or not participate in the next round. And Ai, it's Millintica, not Milly." He changes into a cat, the color of Saito's hair, and follows him.

Agatha stood near the entrance, Mitsu beside her. "Tamao has fallen under the spell, she won't wake up again until..." She nodded. "So have the queen, the bishops, and a knight."

"It is getting close. Please watch carefully. I must have at least one more night with little Saito..."

Saito nodded, and when they were back at their own castle, he walked straight for the castle in which they resided, "Millintica, I need you to tell me where your room is..."
_____

Oniko grinned from ear to ear, "ah, the scraps are back? They all were going to die anyway" he looked towards the two bishops who had survived and then nodded for them to go. "And for you, death."
_____

Ai looked around and grabbed Little Saito, "Are you okay?" "Yeah." He said smiling as they went in the castle as well
