There are some games I buyed from them, and if they can't make the release date, they call you (yep... I received that call before the game of GTA:SA [the store was FULL to buy that game when it came out] ).Pyrosphere wrote:"EBgames.com works tirelessly with game publishers to ensure accurate release dates on our site. Occasionally, publishers run into problems during the production of a game and the release date must be changed. Sometimes dates move forward; more often they move back and frequently they get changed more than once."
This puts more faith in the May 8th release date doesn't it? Because they said they get their info from the game developers themselves.

You're right. I think it was actually about the American release in relation to the Japanese release of Rebirth. It might have been the official forum, but I think someone said the American version was like 5 months after the Japanese version. I had put Rebirth towards the bottom of the games I have to finish, so I forgot when it actually came out.Tri-Edge500 wrote:Well don't really mean to be negative, but remember that Reminisce didn't come five months after Rebirth but longer. Hope they don't do that though, or I'm gonna be reaaal mad
Errr... I think translating it to english is better then "Americanizing" The Americans ain't the only one with english.DarkDoc02 wrote:You're right. They can't be that far away, the game's finished, they're just Americanizing it. (I know that's not a word
Exactly.Ressic wrote:No, but, it's more than just language. There's all sorts of nuances and cultural references that (if the translation is done right) need to be addressed for a work to be as accessible to the foreign audience as it was to the original audience.
I don't know what language(s) European versions of the game are produced in, but I would almost expect there to be some changes between what they'd get in England, and what we get in North America.
