I think d5t will lock this when a date is actually confirmed. Right now it's just sorta helping cut back on release date threads, and letting us speculate and share info.

Intrestingly enough....Gamestop online has the exact same thing. 5/8/07 as the release.

Not too surprising though - EB owns Gamestop.

Although the May 8th release date seems possible, I still can't believe it 100%.

If isn't true, then we wait. But right now is some hope, because the release date is actually announced by EB (something that in the past don't show it).

I have have noticed that Gamestop is usually correct on the release dates on their website so I'm going to believe them.

Im even more jealous of people who have imported Vol 3 from Japan -_-

Well, you don't really need to learn Japanese unless you want the games for the story. If it's just for the gameplay, you can breeze through it pretty well.

Actually, it's the other way around. But don't go on their date. They've had 3 or 4 different release dates for LoZ Phantom Hourglass for the DS since it was announced at last E3, this might be the same thing. They put a release date up because they can't do pre-orders if there isn't at least a tentative release date. I hope I'm wrong, though.

That's about right, it's usually just a tentative release date to tide people over until they get an actual date. Even if Namco Bandai came out an said a specific date for it, that could be subjective as well, cause something could happen last minute to delay it that's why the publishers always use the vague release dates like sometime in spring/summer/fall/winter or Quarter 1/2/3/4 or just a month and whatever the year is.

According to someone on GameFAQs. Namco-Bandai has confirmed the May 8th release. (I have yet to check this myself, I will check it out.)

Gamespot has the same thing, but I think they're from the same company. There's nothing on RPGamer or the official site. Either it's the correct date, or Gamespot and GameFAQ are getting their release dates from EB and Gamestop. I'll be more inclined to believe it's real when other sites post the same thing.
