A flying metal stick hit Emoto as the key's fell down, The guards were pierced through the heart. "Hey Milly!" Garnet opened the cage and kicked Emoto before picking up the keys, "You're all free as of now." Garnet pushed the stick on Emoto's head, "This magical item prevents all magic things, including your head." He lifted Emoto by his arm and opened the two cells, "Your ÄRM are in the box, leave now, and Kino wants to shove a stone through your face." He said pointing to Emoto, "She's still alive." Phase was outside leading them to the exit. "Play the Games."

Saito was near the castle below the floating Castle, "Hello sir would you like to join the games?" Saito glare at him and then nodded, taking a ball from the man's hand.

Little Saito woke up and saw Ai sleeping on the floor, "Ai! wake up, today's a big day."

Agatha was sitting at the table, in the dress as she looked at the food. Mitsu was sitting beside her, Tamao sitting beside him. "We'll have to get to the games soon, and meet Chi there."

"Of course Agatha-sama."

The queen sat on her throne, closing her eyes.

Emoto sighed, looking calmly at Garnet. he picked up his ARM from within the box,"I hope she's a tough one.. otherwise I'll get disappointed.." he turned to phase,"soo... what exactly are these.. games?" he looked at surame as she got up, picking her ARM up out of a nearby box,"she never told me anything about them before.. all I'm sure is that this isn't earth, and that I was brought here by a weird ghost..." he sighed,"it looked like it's eyes were the shape of crosses..."

Milly stretches and waits for Emoto and Surame to leave before taking his things out of the box. He inclines his head slightly to Garnet. "Thanks, could you come to the garden in a bit? There's something I need to discuss with you."

He separates from the others and instead heads to Rachel's room. After entering he jumps backwards up into the corner. "Ah! It's the Black Reaper!" Rachel looks up at Milly. "Milly?" "Rachel? Why do you have that mask?" "I gave it to her. It used to be mine." Millintica drops down to the ground. "Oh, so you were one of the ones who slaughtered my clan?" Lilith finally turns to look at Milly. "And if I was? Would you like to try and avenge them now?" "No, no, that's quite alright. I can wait till the games finally start to exact my vengeance. Anyways, do you mind if Rachel and I talk privately for a minute?" "Yes, I do mind." "Oh, well, would you please leave anyways?" "And if I refuse?" "Just go Lilith." She glares at Rachel for a minute and then leaves.

"So, what did you want to talk about Milly?" Milly jumps on top of the bed. "Well, you see. I got into a bit of a scuffle with Garnet. Now just hear me out. Alright? Don't overreact. Anyways, and then we got to talking, somehow. But as it turns out he kind of sort of wants to destroy Chess. Or at least a few key members of it. So, would you like to help?" "I can't." "Why not? You won't have to fight the king. Garnet or I will probably deal with him, but we still need some help to get through the rest of the ranks. Fighting can be kind of tiring, ya know? One of the reasons I try to avoid it when I can." "I'm sorry, but I can't." "Fine, whatever. I'll go talk with Lilith then. Actually, I'll let Garnet handle trying to negotiate with her. See ya at the games." He smiles widely one more time before leaving the room.

"Ah, Lilith, you're still here. Perfect!" "What do you want Millintica?" "That pendant, but that's not what I'm here to talk about. Garnet would like to present you with a proposal, and although he sent me to ask you. I think it'd be best if you went and spoke with him in person." "And why is that?" "Because there's less of a chance of me getting killed that way. Anyways, he should be in the garden right now. I've got to go get ready for the games. You know figure out what I want put on my tombstone and whatnot." Milly changes into a black cat and runs off.

Lilith opens Rachel's door. "Come on." "Uh, right." Rae follows Lilly to the garden. "Where is that blue fuzz ball?

Garnet smiled and waved over to Lilith, "Oh hey there." He smiled holding the stick behind is back. "I wanted to know if you'd like to join a little cause of mine."

Phase sighed, "Hehe these games are a hunt so Chess knows who to kill." He grinned widely, then calmed down, "It's a tournament..." He glanced at the arm he should've had and sighed, "Damn..."

Saito sat down waiting for anyone else who would join in on the games.

Ai had come down the stairs first, "Saito said he wanted to get dressed up for today."

Lilith activates her scythe and nods to Rachel who goes and sits down on a bench. Looking around she notices the gardener who seems very intent on planting several things. "And what cause is that, Garnet? Millitnica said you had a 'proposal' of some sort for me. I assume it has something to do with what he was discussing with Rachel a moment ago, but what is it?" She glares at him, her lips pulling back just enough to show her fangs.

Agatha nodded, her eyes half lidded as her hands remained in her lap. "I see."

Emoto seemed intrigued,"a tournament eh? sounds like it might be fun to participate.." he grinned slightly as the pinprick of light began to increase in size. He turned back to surame,"so.. whaddya say to entering in the tournament? it should be a god way to learn about the strengths of others.." surame sighed,"the only reason I tried to leave chess beforehand, was because i didn't want to participate in the games..." she sighed, then jolted, looking at garnet,"ah! that reminds me!" she stood in front of him,"a telekinetic not too different from Emoto asked me to look for you.. she had long purplish hair, eyes as dark as the night sky, and a gaze that could pierce steel. d'you know anything about her, garnet?"

Saito ran down the stairs grinning, "Haha Everyone said today was a special day so I wore my old Chess Clothes" He grinned, "My first set in Chess."

Garnet looked to both of them, "I want to destroy Chess, do you want to help me?" He looked at Surame, "Was she cute and is she coming here?"

Saito looked around as people started appearing to watch the games, "Only one this time?..." "How odd" "Maybe the poor boy is just here to watch too?" He glared at them and they backed away slowly, and several Chess Pieces started arriving aswell. Including the three from the previous night.

"I see, perhaps appropriate for where we have to go." Agatha spoke, smiling sadly. "We should eat before we go, we have to meet someone there."

Little Saito nodded, sitting down as Ai smiled towards him holding back several tears, "So...what does your ÄRM do?" Little Saito smiled widely, "It makes me fast, and I can jump really high and far." He looked to Agatha, "Who are we meeting Miss Demeter?"

Garnet sighed, "Holy crap! The games are starting!" Wings emerged from his back, "Lilith, tell me down there! And you-" he pointed to Surame, "Tell her 'Crow' and 'maybe' if she knows anything then she's dead."

Saito closed his eyes beginning to fall asleep as a short man about the size of a teenager stopped waiting, "Young man, are you here to play the games?" Saito showed the ball he had in his hand.

Agatha merely smiled and chuckled. "Someone important." She waited until they were done eating, and then Mitsu helped transport them to the castle below. There stood Chi, the Queen, and Hei. Agatha smiled and walked towards them with a bow. "It is nice to see you are both well."

"Agatha-sama, it is much better to see that you are still well." Hei spoke, bowing. The queen looked towards Saito and smiled.

"Thank you, are you going to participate too?" She asked, not seeming to think of waiting for an answer. Hei grasped Agatha's hand as she offered it. Chi merely bowed and walked along. The two led them to a nice room, letting Agatha sit down gently, along with Chi.

Little Saito looked to the Queen, "Participate in what?" Ai looked at little and opened her mouth to answer but then stopped, '...I've never seen the Queen before, does she know the King as well? And that young girl, not much younger than me.'

Garnet glanced down, "Only one player? How lame, I hope Milly and his friends get down here..." Tala tapped his shoulder, "Holy-" She looked at him, "Do you know about what happened to Erin and Raikun?" Garnet shook his head, "No-" "They're dead... and Ai is missing, so those three are our makeshift Knights..."

Agatha settled to sitting down, Chi finally doing so with certainty. "You both seem worried." Hei nodded. "You should get going to the games yourself, Hei." She stood up, walking towards him and hugging him gently. "You'll worry yourself." Tamao and Mitsu had turned invisible, Chi having no one beside her either. The queen nodded to Hei.

"That is what Agatha-sama wishes. Also, keep an eye on Little Saito." The said nodded.

surame looked at Emoto as they stepped into the arena. she grinned widely,"uwaaahh.. so this is the arena I've heard so much about... it looks waaay different to what I'd expected!" Emoto scanned the arena, looking at all the cracks in the walls he then stopped,"what the... this arena.. it has no structural weakneses whatsoever! there's no possiblity of changing the terrain in my favour..." he looked up,"who designed this arena?"

A large rock hit Emoto's head. "Whoops sorry" a young girl said smiling, "Are you okay?" She was about 14, with a long braided ponytail. She smiled and then went back to the stands, the man who stood at the center of the ring handed out more of the orbs to Surame and Emoto.

Ai and Little Saito had made it down to the Arena, and each took an orb, Ai then looked around, "...there's 10 here, So the only ones missing are me and Rakuen." She then recounted, "Wait! Raikun and Erin died..." She said softly, as Little Saito looked at her, "Why are we at Chess again, and where's Miss Demeter?"

Saito had fallen asleep against the small wall he rested on. A large rock hit him in the stomach, the same girl smiled and stood right in front of him, "Sorry..."

Lillith seems to consider Garnet's words a moment before she turns towards Rachel. "Come on out Millintica. You don't have any other way to get down there do you?" Rachel looks around the area in search of the cat until he comes out from behind a plant the gardener had just put into the ground.

He hops up onto Lillith's shoulder as she grabs Rachel's hands. "Hang on." Lilith takes flight on her white wings. She drops Rachel onto the ground in front of Garnet. Rachel immediately scurries away from Garnet and she tosses Milly down onto the head of the man holding the orbs.

Lilith sets down beside Garnet. "Chess seems to not be going in quite the direction I had hoped. So, I guess we can help you, but you must do something for me. I'll let you know what it is later. For now, let's just enjoy the massacre that is to come." The grin on her former partner's face sent shivers down Rachel's spine. She really wants to destroy everything, doesn't she?

Millintica hops down to the man's hands and nabs one of the orbs. He leaps several feet away and then turns to hiss at Lilith.

Hei looked at LIttle Saito before bowing to him. "Hey, you're here because of the games." He shrugged, looking towards the sky. "Agatha-sama and Chi-san always watch the games." He spotted a small cloud that made him laugh. "Point is, you're here. Might as well enjoy it." He looked down towards Saito.

Emoto looked around as the girl moved about the stadium. He sighed softly to himself as a rock hit Saito's stomach. surame jumped on his back, knocking him to the floor. she smiled,"whatcha lookin' so deep for? there's no philosophy in what we're doing!" she chuckled as Emoto got up, brushing the dust off his shirt. He breathed in deeply, then spoke in a low, mono-tone voice,"how can you be so energetic? I swear the longest nap you've had has only been about three hours.." he shook his head, then shifted his gaze, using his mind to lift the rock off of Saito's chest...

Saito woke up and stood up, noticing the number of people around him to have nearly tripled. "Huh?" He scratched his head, and then sighed, scanning around, so far 6 had orbs, two girls, a cat a little boy and someone a bit younger than himself, "Hmm...I'm about the oldest one, if those two girls aren't older than me..."

Garnet looked at her, "Hehe alrightly then" He smiled back, then looked down, "Oh...is that Ai?"
