Around two months ago, I did the most stupid mistake I ever do to .hack fandom. I showed //SIGN to my friends.
At first they were like 'yay! let's watch it! It looks cool!' then I said 'Are you sure? :3' They insisted on watching it, so I gave up and show my collection. We watched it together, it was cool on the beginning, they comment the opening kinda cool but odd. In the whole episode one they keep commenting 'what happened?' or 'why did they do that' or something like that.

Moving on episode 2, they started not to pay attention to it, instead talking to themselves. And that continues to episode 3 and 4, they completely ignored it. I feel disgraced. I love Sign. To have someone impliedly gestured this thing sucks right at my face without thoroughly watch them is infuriating.

the only positive comment I got after that is... 'TSUKASA UKEEEEEEEEEEE! KYA MOE MOE'

ugh.

Keep this in mind...

NEVER show psychologically heavy anime (no matter how good it is) to sparkly animu-bishounen-loving shounen-ai-addict fangirls.

I have a question!

Why the hell did you show it to them in first place?

I don't see what the problem is here, they reacted exactly how you could have expected them to act :U

good question.
no, actually, it's kinda long story:

one of them bragging to me that she bought one of .hack//sign vcd (yeah, in our country, //sign released in serial vcds). I respond by saying 'hee... I already had that ~w~' and thus, they begged me to show it to them. I already had a real bad feeling about it, but because they plead, I gave in.... and thus disaster happened.

though... I was at fault too, there were a little amount of pride about having something rare to show off... such a foolish of youth.

it's a dark dark dark experience I had there.

RF: I had a similar experience. I decided to show .hack//SIGN to a friend of mine who loves MMOs. We watched one episode and I took the dvd out. The only thing he said about it the entire time we watched was, "That could never happen in a real MMO." I was so frustrated... -_-''

real MMOs would never sending their players into coma. -_-a
but I guess it would be different story if we show them action oriented-plotless-over-200-episodes-anime.

RF: I'm... de-spirited! I never thought I became attached so much to tablet... I'm loosing my drawing spirit... I wonder if someone could give me free wacom, it would be epic :D

nobodyknows wrote:RF4: LEAGUE OF LEGENDS. IF ANYONE ELSE HERE PLAYS IT I WILL HIT YOU UP ON THE NA SERVER AND WE CAN SMASH SOLO QUEUE TOGETHER.
I play League of Legends and my account name is Shouxiaozaseo. I'm only lvl 12 so far and only played two months but I have a good understanding of the game. I main Ashe and Blitzcrank right now.

It had to happen sooner or later but the PS2 servers of Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal and Ratchet Deadlocked finally went down a few day ago. The upside is those games will have PS3 servers in the HD remakes. The trilogy for the first 3 Ratchet and Clank games aren't out yet in the USA. I also can't wait for Ratchet Deadlocked(basically Ratchet 4) to be brought back. I just wish I had a PS3.

I have mixed feelings about Runescape's Evolution of Combat beta. The way the fighting is done is revamped but it takes away from what makes Runescape Runescape. It is one of the few games that still doesn't use action bars and hotkeys for things.

I really like Deadman Wonderland and Casshern Sins on Toomani.

I'm watching every new ep of Metal Fight Beyblade Zero G as they come out.

Word got out a little bit in my family that I don't want to marry and have kids. I have a lot of people telling me to "man up"as if the status quo of being a man is truly what a man should be. I'm not antifamily but I do realize that dating and or marriage for the most part is done in a hypergamy fashion. I also understand Brrifault's Law

BRIFFAULT’S LAW:

The female, not the male, determines all the conditions of the animal family. Where the female can derive no benefit from association with the male, no such association takes place.

There are a few corollaries I would add:

1. Past benefit provided by the male does not provide for continued or future association.

2. Any agreement where the male provides a current benefit in return for a promise of future association is null and void as soon as the male has provided the benefit (see corollary 1)

3. A promise of future benefit has limited influence on current/future association, with the influence inversely proportionate to the length of time until the benefit will be given and directly proportionate to the degree to which the female trusts the male (which is not bloody likely).

As more time goes by I see less reasons to date. Its not that I don't want be a FAMILY MAN(SF2 internet meme reference) but Briffault's Law and hypergamy is true in almost all relationships today. Its like people that tell me things like "man up" view me as a genetic defect. Its not like anything shall happen to the human race if there is a section of man that opted of the dating game such as the Japanese Herbivore men.

Too bad Loki took all my money to fuse, so now I don't have money to create Pallas DX

RF: I've read through over four novels in the past week. Some of Jim Butcher's Dresden Files, Douglas Hulick's "Among Thieves", and I've burned through over half of Laura Bickle's "Embers" tonight. Anybody else burn through any lamp oil lately?

*Raises hand* I have. I've read about..... eight novels in the same series over the past month. Not as much as you, but a little crazy none the less. Haha.

Also, RF: I love Jim Butcher and the Dresden Files.

RF2: I still have yet to read the most recent book in the Dresden Files, "Ghost Story," sadly. I just haven't had the time...

I've read a 500 pages book in 2 days a couple weeks ago, and most of it was during the night so yeah xD

Once I start reading a good book it's hard to stop D:

It's sad when I buy a book, finish it in 2-4 days and then don't have money to buy the rest of the series ;-;
