Anyways, the ONLY way to make this game actually challenging is by only going into the story and not training at all. That's what i've been doing lately.
I first reached the arena at lvl11.
I was right at lvl20 when i had the Job Extension
I fought Bordeaux at lvl24.
I fought Matsu at lvl26. Died once.
I fought Alkaid at lvl27. Died alot but i was finally able to beat her!!
I fought Kuhn at lvl27 and i was UBEROWNED. At lvl32, i was able to trigger the mid-battle scene but he still owned me badly. At lvl34, with ALOT of luck, i somehow defeated him.
And as of Endrance...he's pwning me right now while i'm at lvl34.
