Lowe was a mistaken romanization, before we became certain that the phrase was supposed to mean "that which hides heaven". Lowe means lion, which really has no place in the name. My romanization means approximately the same thing in Russian I think, and I took the liberty of dropping the "v" sound since all the lost ground names seem deliberately off by one kana (Like Coiste Bodhar)...

He says blue fire, but is there any guarantee that he will be ccontinued to be called "Kite of the blue fire?" Haseo would say thgat, since Azure Flames is a title, that he wasn't aware of.

Blue Fire. I agree someone needs to get chewed out about some of this. I can understand some of the changes, but this...this is in violation.
They should let some of us work on the dialogue for the games. We know what the gamers want to hear.

I'm not too worried about some of these translations though the Huelle Glanz one seems to be pushing it for me. Though I wonder if the final game will have those same translations since some times they change it after they show those screenshots.

I think those were from the final game.
Oh well, at least the overall presentation is still good.

I agree, it seems unlikely that Haseo will begin talking about 'Azure Flame' as that is Tri-Edge/Kite's title which he has yet to be told.
So to us, Tri-Edge is Kite of the Azure Flame, to Haseo at that point in time, Tri-Edge just happens to be surrounded by blue fire.
Besides, it seems petty to complain about them using the word 'blue' instead of a word which means exactly the same thing as blue once, especially when you consider the fact that Haseo will be told that its 'azure' later on in the game.

Actually, he's never told that later in the game, the term probably comes from his quest for information about Tri-Edge. And in the Japanese version he says "Azure Flames" using the same word as in "Azure Sky", etc. Simply "blue" would be different. So yeah, it does seem like a very bad or just very liberal translation... In fact, at least for me, "Azure Flame" in that scene (in the trailer) was an important foreshadowing...

Didn't Bandai hire some dotHack fans to proofread the novels and book releases?
Was anyone going to object to the Lunar Tree --> Moon Tree swap?
Besides losing its phonetic elegance (Moooo-n Tree), the Wafflehouse's "G.U.+" translators suggest the guild and its leaders are supposed to be a nod to the flowers of the lunar calendar.

That was Tokyopop, Bandai is usually pretty good about these things. And I think Moon Tree is ok, I don't think the names of the seven elders are related to the lunar calendar at all...
