Re: War of the holy grail
Although Lumina made no outward appearance of it, Lumina took note of Kylar's avoidance in meeting her gaze. It only meant one thing... So, he knows about my eyes... To be expected from an Enforcer, I guess. I thought no one outside of the Gewehr family would know, the secret was kept so well... she thought to herself as she smiled back innocently. Hopefully, he'd keep the fact to himself. "I'm not here to fight yet, Saber, though we'll fight if you force it. I wanted to propose an alternate to killing witnesses. Is that okay with you, Mister?" she replied as she gestured, a phone number engraving itself on the air in front of Kylar. "If they don't remember, they can't be witnesses, right Mister?"
Re: War of the holy grail
Her added the number to his phone and sent her a blank text in response. "That's true enough. In which case, try not to die, and do call me if you get in a fight. I'd like to minimize the risk of missing someone, and I'd like to know if I'm going to have no choice but to start killing them again." He slid his phone back into his pocket and put his hands together. "So, assuming we're done with business. Who's up for getting something to eat?" The change in attitude might have seemed abrupt, but Kylar tried to enjoy life as much as possible, eating and drinking in particular, it was just his way.

Re: War of the holy grail
Fenrir continued on his rampage, finally Silia knew her end was near, so she threw her master away into the distance, Fenrir Mercilessly ran through her blood splattered everywhere in an outward explosion "HAHAHA..." He ran on, destroying countless more cars on his way until Tyr finally caught up on a motorcycle, which he found in the wreckage, damaged but only by another car, still in working condition "****, Fenir you've really done it this time!" Tyr bit the tip of his thumb until a dot of blood appeared, he jumped off the motorcycle and slammed his thumb into Fenrir's forehead. Fenrir fell over face first into the highway, Tyr picked him up and ran to the side of the road before more cars came "We're done for." Fenrir's jaw refused to move, but he tried to speak, uttering only sounds that could hardly be made out "GEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHH OOOOWWWWWW!" Tyr shook his head "You know i cant understand a word of what you say when your body is paralyzed... anyway we gotta hide the enforcers will be here soon, we wont get far if we run but I have a plan... tell me when you can feel your arms."
Re: War of the holy grail
The ominous notes of The Imperial March sailed through the air as Kylar's phone rang. Oh God, something's wrong. "Yes?" He said answering it. The color drained from his face and he flung his hood back, "I'll attend to it right now." He shoved it back into his pocket swearing loudly, "Root and branch and oak and ash! Oberon's shriveled up balls! Maev's saggy tits! What in the bloody hell is wrong with these people! Now I have to go blow up a whole gorramn freeway and there's no way to be sure I'll get everyone! Then I get to hunt down one of you god modding servants and its master, maybe two! And I thought that dead apostle would be my impossible kill of the year!" He snapped a telephone pole with a shining kick and screamed. After several seconds of huffing and puffing he turned to Lumina calmly asking, "Can I please borrow you and Archer for a bit? Actually, I'd rather just borrow Archer you'd probably just get in my way and there's no reason for you to get involved in a fight with another master if you don't have to. Archers are good trackers right?"

Archer looked to Lumina for a moment before answering. "I have no qualms about helping, but I will not leave my master except by her order," Archer replied clearly, making Lumina smile.
"I guess we'll both help, mister. I don't mind. And, I can still help you in ways that you haven't realized yet!" she said in that younger voice, sounding almost innocent if not for the Protective Archer that stood behind her. "We're ready to go, Mister. But where are we headed. Or is that for Archer to discover?" she asked curiously.

"HALT!!!" Came Gawain's voice as he held Zorlo tightly and rushed towards the group before sliding to a stop and smiling at the group. "My master and I shall accompany you!" he said enthusiastically as he looked at Archer, her Master, and the Enforcer. "T'is with a heavy heart that I ask of thee to allow us to aid thee, so please let us be of help. IF there is trouble, 'tis the job of a knight to right the wrongs and protect the meek!"
As the dizziness and confusion faded, Zorlo stumbled back and forth until he shook it off and looked at the three. "Yeah, yeah, what he said. Quickly before he drags me off and we get lost for another few minutes," Zorlo stated, dry heaving over a bush. "Oh gods... I never knew one human being could get SO LOST before," Zorlo said before kneeling and swallowing hard to catch his breath. "Okay, I"m good to go."

"No, I don't want anyone with easily offended sensibilities coming along. Shouldn't you servants be trying to kill one another anyways?"
"It's not far, so just follow me. Archer, pick your master up. See you lot later. Oh and new guy, if you're not about to fight then you can get the 411 from the girl." Kylar took a test hop and then launched himself to the nearest rooftop with help from his jump jets spell, from there he started sprinting. With the aid of his spell he could almost outpace Archer. Before long they were overlooking the carnage left behind by Tyr and Fenrir. "Dear lord, the only time I've seen this much damage was when I was trying to kill a guy called Mouse."
"Archer, leave your master here and please try to figure out where the servant(s) went. Why'd you summon an archer servant if you're going to stick to him like glue." He said with a sigh and knelt down, first to cast detour to ensure no emergency services personnel got hurt by what he was going to do next. He spun the dials on his briefcase, "I don't know what your method of erasing memories is, but I doubt you can affect this many people. So I'm going to commit a little act of terrorism, unless you care to prove me wrong." Kylar infused some prana into his briefcase and it opened to reveal a collapsible bow and a handful of arrows with luminescent red arrowheads. "They're powerful explosives designed to simulate the fallout from conventional bombs."

Re: War of the holy grail
Lumina pouted slightly as she got down. "I'm not 'sticking' to her, Enforcer. I'm merely observing Archer's wish to protect me by being in the same area as her," she said to him in her normal, mature voice now that she was away from the others. If that bothers you, tough," she she finished as the two nodded and Archer leapt off to go look. Apparently, Archer's over protectiveness was mostly an act as well. "Anyway, You'll have to be patient with me. I have a plan, but I need to rescale it for this," she finished as she closer her eyes and placed her handed together. Her magic circuits flared, Prana surrounded her like wind, as she opened her mouth. Words of an unknown language, Notarikon Code, came forth in a song-like spell that took the wind and pushed it out in all directions as the wind became a wave, the wave became a boundary, and the area of the hallway became a Bounded Field, closed off from the outside world. This is where she excelled. Magecraft, rather then the physical. "There... The field is a Mobius Strip, per se. Trying to leave will cause you to appear at the other side of the boundary rather then outside. Please, hold off on shooting those. I just need some time to think while Archer searches."

"Nicely done. I might need to add that one to my repertoire later. Guess I won't need to burn these after all, good." My compass rose is useless as long as she's here. Kylar put the bow and arrows away, closed and reopened the briefcase to an apparently different compartment. "In my experience it's safer to fight away from the one you're trying to protect rather than having them in the line of fire. But hey, I'm just the one the familiars try and fail to protect their masters from." He pulled out a pair of binoculars and began looking around for the master and/or servant, on the off chance they were still in the area. "Of course, when there is such a disparity between the strength of one of us and a servant, I suppose having yours nearby is a comfort. Is there anything I can do to speed things along?"
Re: War of the holy grail
"Hmm... something has changed," Caster noted, looking around.
Zorlo wormed his way from the knight's grasp as he looked around and shook off dizziness. "I've seen this kind of magecraft before... it's very dangerous stuff indeed..." Zorlo said as he walked into the edge of the bounded field to appear on the other side before walking back through again. "Yep.... yep... definitely a bounded field. How is your sense of direction SO bad that we wound up... trapped in a bounded field?" Zorlo asked, sighing.
"When one is noble, they need not sense of direction! Their feet guide them to the villains!"
"Awesome... WEll, since we're stuck here, we've got two choices: to kill whoever created this field, or kill whatever the intended thing being trapped is."
"Pishposh! We need not waste strength on such minor things! We shall simply look abouts and find why this field is here."
Zorlo face-palmed. "Yes, yes, let's do that. I can only wonder why... you know what, never mind. Lead away, oh great Caster," Zorlo said as Gawain started to move off to investigate. " Why... why Almighty gods, why?!"

Re: War of the holy grail
Lumina shook her head as she took several deep breaths, choosing to ignore his comments about the gap in strength between Servant and Master. "Thank you, sir, but no. But it should get easier to search in a moment or two," she replied. it was a complicated Magecraft to say the least, but she did have a way to do this. At least, if her lungs permitted, that is. Taking one more deep breath, she started singing again.
Elsewhere, Archer landed on the high branch of a large tree as she looked to the side. Caster...? Why is he here? No, the better question is how did he get here? she thought to herself as she closed her eyes again. He was near. The Servant she was asked to find was below her, in the trees. "Servant! An Enforcer was words for you. I did not come to fight yet, so I bid thee to come peacefully. You cannot escape this area," Archer called down to them, on guard for if the Servant chooses to fight. After all, She didn't know what Servant it was yet, just that they were less then 'Heroic'. A pulse shook the air a moment as another large-scale spell from Lumina went out to fill the Bounded Field. Her Magecraft was as strong as she was frail; you didn't meet many people like that in any age. "I ask again, Come peacefully, Servant," she said aloud looking in Berserker's direction.
Back at Kylar and Lumina, the girl doubled over, coughing hard as her now golden eyes watered slightly. She straightened up and formed a Runic veil over her eyes so as to both hide them and keep from catching Kylar in her enchantment. The veil would last long enough for the spell to finish its work, but she had to keep her eye open and Mystic Eyes active until then. "It'll be ready soon..." she said to him as her coughing ended and she started breathing deeply again. "Soon... everyone here but Masters, Servants, and you believe that a trailer flipped and caused a chain pile-up. All that's left is to wait for Archer and find your Servant."

Kylar put an arm around Lumina to help support her. "You're helping me do my job. It's not much, but please accept it. Magic circuits open." Kylar transferred a fair amount of prana to Lumina. It probably wasn't enough to cover what she was doing now, but he wanted to be able to nuke a servant, if it came to that.

Tyr looked up smiling "Well it took you a while to get here." Tyr seemed a little nervous Fenrir stood up wobbling to his feet like a man hung over after a new years eve party "Who t-the hell is sh-shouting at me?" He looks up seeing Lumina and Kylar "A-are you one of th-those enforcers guys I h-heard about? Hmm I-I can probabllyyyy t-take you." Tyr rolls his eyes "You'll probably just trip over the nearest rock or something just surrender peacefully Fenrir..." Tyr knows there's no chance of that happening "Your a c-c-coward." he then wobbles around a little and points in the general direction of Kylar and Lumina "Your not killing me without a fight!" Tyr shakes his head "I'm sorry, I don't know him" Fenrir just glares at Tyr

"Thank you, Sir. I'll be okay," Lumina said as she felt the prana and accepted it without complaint. It wasn't so much the amount that set her coughing, but rather all the singing as she was minorly asthmatic. Not that she'd speak such a thing here, mind you. She felt the spell settle, the enchantment finishing its job, so she deactivated her Mystic Eyes as the veil vanished. "I think there's a misunderstanding for you to clear up, sir. I'm okay, please handle it and we'll help if needed," she said quietly to Kylar as she straightened up.
Re: War of the holy grail
Kylar and handed Lumina his briefcase before he walked over to the edge of the building. "Archer, take the girl and get her out of the way. I won't be trying to protect her, or anyone else here." He didn't know what kind of magecraft this guy used, so rather than burn an excessive amount of prana on his ranged spells, he prepared himself to counter Tyr and jumped down to engage him with fisticuffs and shining grasp.
Re: War of the holy grail
"Beastly Heathen! How DARE thee speak so ill of an Enforcer and another Master?! Doth thou desire violent destruction?!"
Zorlo looked away from Gawain and sighed. "I know the feeling, bub."
Gawain's hand floated over the empty sheathe as heat began to build in the sheathe as Gawain stared at the humanoid creature. "Thou art an evil in this world?! Doth thou desire to be smote by the limitless power of the sun?" the man in green armor asked as the handle of his sword formed.
It was the first time Zorlo had seen Gawain so much as take a ready stance to fight. The immensely bright glow of Gawain's body was something like the sun. "I see... that's what it is... during the day..." Zorlo paused as he felt the immense heat from his servant. "This could become quite ugly. That sword isn't just for show, I get the feeling," Zorlo stated as he began to bend wind around himself quietly to keep himself insulated.
Caster looked at Berserker as he prepared for battle. "What doth thou sayth, Berserker?!"
Zorlo sighed again. "I can't believe he's really doing this..." Zorlo said as his head spun for a moment.

Re: War of the holy grail
Tyr rolled backwards from Kylar "Wait, wait, wait, wait!!!! It's not my fault Berserker's an idiot!" Fenrir cracked his neck still slow from the seal on his power "I still feel stiff, do me a favor and loosen me up before i take on that guy over there." Fenrir nodded towards Kylar "And maybe the coward of a master i have." Fenrir ran at Gewain striking slowly and easily dodged but gaining speed with every hit as his muscles loosened up forgetting the seal that was placed on them Tyr shook his head "If i keep him on a leash from now on can we avoid fighting?"
Re: War of the holy grail
Kylar hopped a few feet back, "So, the problem isn't you it's Berserker? In that case, the fault isn't yours at all. And you can leave scott free." Said the enforcer smiling. "But first, to prove how serious you are, I need you to transfer your command seals to me, and then you can go home and not fight this war. And I can just obliterate Berserker and go on with my life."
Re: War of the holy grail
Gawain dodged the attacks somewhat nonchalantly as he watched Berserker attack. "A holding spell, hmm? How unfortunate for you, sir," The green knight said as he side-stepped the next blow and grabbed Berserker's wrist. Heat began to rise from Berserker's wrist as the golden glow of Gawain's hand began to burn away the flesh of the creature. "I say unfortunate because even if you could move, I have few doubts you are no match for the intense heat of the sun," Caster stated as he pushed Fenrir's arm away. "Alas, I am too honorable to torture you with something so uncouth," the Knight of the SUn said with a sigh.
Zorlo face-palmed again. "How am I supposed to win this war?" the green-haired man asked. "His noble streak is going to get us killed. It prevents far too many NECESSARY actions to be taken..."

Re: War of the holy grail
Berserker... Archer moved to Lumina's side and jumped her to a slightly more distant building before returning herself to the closer building top and drawing her bow, readying several arrows in her hand as she watched on. She wouldn't engage immediately, but she'd help if need. For now, she kept her eyes on Berserker, something about him being familiar, but hard to remember. It was like she shouldn't quite know it yet. "Interesting. That's two Servants that thats happened with now. What are the odds...?" she murmured to herself as she waited, ready.
