Re: Shooting Star
"Hey, Remia, what's wrong? You've been quiet for some time now," Hijira asked as the sisters walked along. Since it was still Sunny, the Vampire carried the bulk of their things to shade her from the sun.
She laughed. Her sister was just too observant sometimes. It was no wonder that she gained a knowledge & observational type power from her wish. "It's nothing, sister. I was just... thinking, that's all," she replied truthfully. Just like the distant Zelos, Remia's thoughts were about blood. Specifically, she was thinking about his unusually potent blood. Even the strong of monsters didn't charge her like that. His blood was powerful, but only in small charges, like a powerful, but nearly dead battery. She needed more then her minor taste to truly know what he could be. One thing was certain, it was beyond Wishmaker. "What about you, Hijira? What have you been studying all this time?"
"More about the uses of Knives. I've barely touched the tip of iceberg for knife fighting and I'm a little over halfway done with Knife throwing." Hijira smiled, truly enjoying her studies. "There's some much to learn! I never realized that knives are so extremely versatile," she finished as they continued on toward the next town. Unfortunately, what they didn't know was that that town was currently being terrorized by a Certain Icy Dragon.

((Sorry about holding this off for so long!))
Tristan took only a moment to notice the ice, a moment after Erza had asked him from evacuation like procedure. “There’s ice one the walls! Holy crap! We’re under attack!” Rather than answer her question he grabbed his spear off the floor, and grabbed her hand, “Listen up, I got a plan!” He rushed for an exhibit that had many windows, but the dragon could not be seen from that view, he lunged his spear back and javelined it through the window, shattering it into a million pieces, “Nice! Alright, now jump through, but please, please be careful!” His spear was now on the outside, and more and more people began rushing the exhibit for an exit.
“You seem like someone who could use an answer.” An older gentleman with horns approached Zelos, “I cannot offer you what I offer most, but knowledge my good sir, is power.” D. extended his hand, “As for myself, you can call me D.”

Re: Shooting Star
Hecate received the message, quickly moving up the stairs and moving people along to protect each area. The normal humans would be in danger without wish makers along with them. She told people to keep various positions so that the walls were not completely iced over. She had promised Miss Phorkyas that she could take care of everyone along the way with her gone.
Re: Shooting Star
Yes, everybody run out as a single mass. You won't all get frozen and slaughtered at once. Maybe whatever is out there will be sated by them and leave this place otherwise intact. There should be an old boiler down in the basement, if not I just hope there's enough burnable material to keep it going if need be. Erza wanted out, sure, but she had no interest in joining the horde of people. If the ice thing didn't get her the people might run her over, so she stood next to Tristan. Erza wanted to keep her meatshield in bullet blocking distance after all. "You're rather, special, aren't you?"
Re: Shooting Star
Dale laughed at the woman's movements as he neared her. "An impressive display by you two pretty ladies. One runs to a man, the other gets the "average' folks out of danger. Still, I wonder if that dragon is really real, or simply a piece of a wish by someone yet unfinished. I've yet to solve truly if I should act duly, but I am aware that we're in for a scare as we're caught unaware," Dale stated as he rested one hand on the sheathe of his sword as he slung his lute over his shoulder. "Perhaps we shall cut within him a seem, to determine if he is merely part of a dream?" Dale asked as he drew his sword and looked at the dragon.
Zorlo stared at the man for a moment before crossing his arms and closing his eyes. This man could not offer him what he offered others... but instead information. This man FELT different from others... his aura was completely unlike that of even the God of SPirits. What, then, was he? Zelos immediately put that question aside... men such as this didn't answer stupid questions. He would need a concise question if he hoped to gain any ground on the situation."
The green-haired man's eyes glinted green as he looked at D. "Perhaps you can explain to me the nature of what made this world... and created such creatures as vampires and illusionists. I have the striking feeling you know who I really am, so I need not waste my time assuming you don't... but I get the same feeling you know where this world came from. Moments before I incarnated myself to save my existence, the pantheon of the higher plane was torn asunder and a new one was born, likely to coincide with the birth of monsters and create gods who also cared of such things... so I must get answers as to where things from lore such as vampires and monsters came from and what created this world? That will be my first question." Although his first question, Zelos strongly hoped it would not be his last. After all, he needed to piece together what he could, and something told him this man had answers.

Re: Shooting Star
“Special? Nah, you kids today are something special! So many of you are bright beyond the horizons my generation could reach. I wish my boy was here, he’d be something special for sure.” Tristan said watching the window and assisting those who needed it. “Hey buck-o! That there spear’s mine!” He said pointing toward a man reaching for his spear.
The dragon raised its mighty claw and smashed the roof of the museum. “Do you see our power? This is the power of Pheles! Those who join me now, I will forgive your stupidity in choosing to join the woman!” A man with blue eyes and long, feathery sliver hair shouted from the head of the icy dragon.
Tristan covered Erza from the minor debris that fell near the exhibit. “Oh my- That dragon’s a lot more different than the ones you usually see! Hurry up! Let’s go!” He helped Erza out and followed after, picking up his spear on the way out. He saw most of the defenders were attacking the dragon to no avail. “Fool! I declare! Attack!” The dragon swept his claw, throwing a half dozen men out of sight.
-
“So your question is….why is the world so different? You know, your brother, if you call him that, only asked about you. Regardless, the reason for the change is because some boy wished for a different world.” D. said with a smile on his face, “I will be leaving you now, though I may drop in to chat with you again.” D. waved his hand and walked out of Zelos’s line of sight.
-
Hero laid on his back, his bare chest exposed and burnt. “Kid, give it up.” A man wearing an orange cap said as he watched Hero get up once more. Hero raised his shovel and charged at the man who countered with his bare hand. Red lines coated his metallic arm and an explosion blew Hero back. “You’re gonna die if you keep this up.”

Dale leapt backwards as the claw swiped and narrowly dodged it. "That was dangerous," the performer stated as he looked at the silver-haired man and his dragon. "Still, I can't believe you would sink to such uncouth methods of fighting!" The bard said as he drew his sword and adjusted the Lute on his shoulder. "Now to shine!" he said as streams of music moved from his harp and bound around the normal people in the building. Despite wounds and otherwise pain, they went silent and slowly stood up, almost zombie-like. "The power of my lute isn't simply to affect the emotions of 'normal' people, it is to 'enchant' them. As such, those who have heard my music heed my orders without great difficulty..." the bard said as he started to swept. True, he had the power to control the enchanted via control of his music, his body suffered great strain the more he tried to control. He only needed to suppress their pain and control long enough to distract the dragon.
The crowd rose up and charged at the dragon as they made their assault. Dale backed off as the lines of music vanished as people started to regain control of themselves as the enchantment faded. "They won't last long, but there is bound to be a fool among them who'll try to be a hero."
"My brother?" Zelos mused himself for a moment. "Any 'brother' I had died when the world changed... unless one of the other gods here is somehow my counterbalance... the new spirit of wind in this world? I guess I'll figure it out later," the green-haired man said as he thought for a moment. "He said that the world changed because of a boy's wish?" Zelos began to think about the people he had met, but couldn't draw any distinct answers. "Hmm... Depending on how many wishes could be granted, I can definitely say that it seems that not too many people have more than one power. Still, I can't tell who is or isn't a member of those who have had wishes granted. Those girls, that moron who liked to rhyme, and the moron in that odd armor are all distinctly among those who had wishes granted, but I sense those wishes were a response to the wish that changed the world."
Zelos sighed. "I need to find the red string that will lead me to this places start. Now that I know this world is a dream, I also know that, as part of that dream... wish... whatever people want to call it, my powers are affected when I interact with it. The vampire's blood reinvigorated me... but perhaps that isn't exactly right. When I ate the monsters, I regained memories and understanding of my purpose... and when I drank a small bit of that vampire's blood, I regained a bit more of my power, although so miniscule it's almost noteless. Very important to note," he stated as he sighed. "Obviously something about these wish-based beings is linked to regaining my power... but what? I'm sure it isn't just their blood or flesh... but... the composition of their existence..."
At that point, something clicked. "They are made of wish itself. By draining the very essence, their spirit, I can regain my powers more purely... but I'll need to recover enough energy first to drain the prana from the dead wishmakers and monsters... it'll save me a lot of blood and bones to clean that way," he stated, sighing. "Well... I'll start later... for now... I need to get some food," he said as he smiled darkly and stood up. He hadn't noticed, but monsters had surrounded him.

((Couldn't find the episode, but here's a song that seems most befitting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_q1SdaWLlw ))
Erza found herself running towards the dragon, an action that fell in direct opposition to her survival strategy. The frack is my body doing? It must be a wishmaker, whoever did this is getting two straight through their skull as soon as I figure out who it is. The second she regained control she spun on her heels and booked it the other way, praying the dragon didn't take an interest in her. She noticed Dale well apart from the group. Him? The bloody bard? I guess that makes sense, there was some 'music' when that happened. Erza glanced over her shoulder at the dragon. I might miss at this range, if I see him again I'll kill him then.
Are those screams my Bravo Senses are hearing? "Bravo Fire Extinguishing Technique!" Captain Bravo picked up some dirt and threw it on the fire to put it out. "Bravo Sprint!" He set off towards the panicked cries for help at Bravo speeds.

Re: Shooting Star
"My my... Today just seems to be a day for excitement," Remia said to no one in particular as she caught two of the men sent flying by the Dragon and dropped their lifeless corpses at her feet. She didn't catch them out or kindness or to save them, mind you, as she could already tell that they were dead. No, she'd caught them to keep them from hitting and hurting her surprised sister that hadn't had the head's up of the shotgun blast of bodies that had come at them from the Dragon's slaughter. Hijira opened an umbrella to shield her from the sun as she watched the Dragon and Bravo's rather load intro. "Oh great... He's here too. Well, this works. He can be a distraction for me. Please step back, Sister," she finished as she reached down with one hand.
Blood from the two corpses flowed out from various orifices into the palm of her hand as she shaped it to her will. A cylinder, then a pole, then staff formed as the blood continued to combine, form, and harden until it finally took the form of a huge, elaborate spear as long as Hijira was tall, as thick as a person's arm, and more then hard enough to shrug off the heaviest blows with ease. It's huge head was triangular in shape to help pierce through targets with more then lethal force. "Now then... Critical 'Heart Break'!" she said as she easily hefted the spear in one hand and launched it like as crimson missile not at the dragon, but at the Dragon's silver-haired rider.

Re: Shooting Star
(Kale, no homo, I love you. That song is epic! It is actually a great fitting song for this... and now Dale's theme for this RP, since, although I'd never heard of that song before today, it seems to fit.)
Dale saw the dirt and felt the sprinting. Sliding to a stop, he spun around, spinning a chair around and stopping it with his foot in front of his body, and looked at the dragon, the two girls, and the sound of... something draw near. "How fascinating. That small girl created a large spear out of..." he paused to notice where the materials for it were coming from. "Ah, blood." Dale paused as his face went white. "BLOOD?!" he asked loudly to no one in particular. It was then he recalled... that man he had met... he had granted Dale's wish... and Dale had met a handful of people who were immune to the enchanting effects of his music. Was it something to do with wishes? Wish makers or whatever they were called... were they immune to the powers of others?
He had never really thought about it. So many people worshipped his music and were enslaved by it that he had never pondered those who were unaffected by it. As so often happens in these situations, he found himself pondering the dilemma quite intimately. "Well," he said as a large chunk of debris neared him, having been thrown by the dragon, "I suppose I'll remain around. If there truly are other people with powers like mine, I'd like to see them in action," stated as his sword clicked and he ducked, using his sword to push the debris away and escape any harm in that case. "I'll just keep a safe distance."

((Updates =D))
Tristan’s body rushed the icy dragon and inches away from slashing it, suddenly stopped, however, Tristan kept on going, hoping to attack the monster. Tristan would have been killed, along with several of the faster people, who reached the dragon immediately, if not for the dragon launching its head back to protect its master.
A loud, piercing screech was heard at the creature wailed in pain, the spear was stuck in its chin, and most likely had pierced its tongue as well. “Oh, baby, who did this to you?” Drake said, luckily landing on one of its giant wings and seeing the spear from below. “Kill them! Kill them all! You did it know Phorkyas! Everyone is dying now!” The dragon, still visibly in pain, obeyed Drake’s command, opening its mouth to freeze everything inside the museum, save for wishmakers, and as it did so, blood rained down from its open mouth, landing on no one in particular.
“Whoo! Who got that? That was a clean hit!” Tristan said, still not taking much notice of its rider. “Oh! That girl, Erza! Is she all right? No, no, I should find out.” Tristan said, taking a leap backwards and scanning for the girl with the large heels.
-
“I’ll kill you soon if you keep attacking like an idiot. Oh... that was a rib I heard snapping, no doubt about it.” Hero could barely stand, but did so regardless, “What’d I do to set you off anyway?” Hero thrust his shovel, and Quentin merely caught it with his mechanical arm. “Big whoop-” Hero connected his fist with Quentin’s face, but it did not hurt at all. Quentin lifted up his foot and pounded it against Hero’s chest; Hero released the shovel, and was hurled back by this man’s boot.

Re: Shooting Star
"Bravo Breath Eating Technique!" He leaped and Captain Bravo seemed to soar over the heads of the people and caught hold of the dragon's canines and wedged his feet between it's lower teeth. The ice breath struck captain bravo's silver skin and was stoppped there. Bravo loosened his holds and let the mouth snap shut as he rolled inside the mouth when the dragon reared backwards roaring, he breathed heavily while he held the top of the spear in there to stop himself from rolling down it's gullet, he did not want to relive the experience of getting eaten again so soon.
Erza had slowed to a jog when she realized her meatshield wasn't with her. Tristan, where did you go? If you get yourself killed before I can repay you for protecting me back in the museum, I'll kill you. She came to a stop realizing where he would have to be. Well at least I know he'll throw himself into harm's way for me, even if it would be suicide. She thought to herself glumly as she turned around to watch as a man in a silver coat ran past her, towards the dragon. She then noticed that somebody had rammed an odd looking spear into it's head. "What the blazes? Are there wish makers actually going out of their way to help us out here?"

Re: Shooting Star
Dale simply watched the carnage as he slung he began to retreat. "As exciting as this whole event is, I must be on my way! For now, I shall bid you... Aux deu!" the bard said as he snuck out of the building. Well that had failed. Now he would regroup and reconsider his next move.
Zorlo smiled as he finished eating some of the monsters. His body was now glowing bright green as he yawned and opened his mouth. Zorlo's body erupted with power before it faded and he smiled. "I feel much, much better now," the wind god said as his eyes began to glow golden as he looked at the monsters. The green haired man opened his mouth as the remains and uneaten monsters began to break down into energy as it flowed into Zorlo's mouth. The remains weren't worth much energy, but he felt it restore a small amount of his powers and memories.
"GOod, i can drain the energy from things now... those were mostly drained by the time I consumed them, but something full of energy, I'd get more stable amounts of wish maker energy." A loud clang rung out as Zorlo looked around. "What was that? Where is that loud noise coming from?" the green haired man asked as he picked up his gun and started after the noise.

Re: Shooting Star
Remia smiled as she watched the events unfold. "That Dragon's surprisingly protective of its rider."
"Maybe... It's a wish?" Hijira replied as the two stayed at the edge of the clearing.
"Ahh... maybe. That would explain why I can't really smell its blood on the wind. "Either way, since the Bravo is giving me such a great distraction, I think I'll try again," she said as she shot over to two more corpses that were nearby in the sun and shot back to Hijira, whom had set up the actually umbrella to shade a small area. "Now then..."
"Sister, Wait," Hijira said as she materialize a heavy, strong spear that was almost too much for her to hold up. "This... should help..."
"My thanks, dear sister," Remia said as she easily took the speak one-handedly before holding it out. Once more, blood flowed from the corpses at Remia's command, flowing over and covering the spear in the dead men's blood to harder it and increase its lethality. I wasn't long before she was soon holding an even bigger, more deadly version of the spear she threw a few minutes back. "Divine Spear 'Spear the Gungnir'!" And she once more launched the crimson missile at her target, the Dragon's rider.

((I feel like I should add an update and just proxy Tristan's handle as meatshield))
The dragon no longer obeyed Drake’s orders, but that was due to Captain Bravo being in the beast’s mouth. “Eat that fool and freeze the rest of this place! Obey my command!” The dragon, however, did not obey him, instead remaining practically motionless.
Tristan waved his spear in the air, being unique he expected Erza to see it amidst the confusion. His point of view prevented him from ever seeing the silver-coated man’s escapade. “Erza? Hecate? Where are you?” He said, now realizing that Hecate’s long blue hair was nowhere to be seen.
Another spear was launched at the dragon, but for some reason, it veered off only slightly enough to hit neither dragon nor rider. “Where was that?” Drake probed as he scanned for the spear’s thrower, or machine, “No person could ever throw that!” The Dragon’s feet were now being attacked ferociously and it felt down a bit. “Spit him out! Do something!”

Hecate knew that a part of her body had been hit with the ice. However, she was not the type to let the ice on her ankle change her plans. She had to focus on everyone in order to keep from losing their home. She would take care of the fortress in Miss Phorkyas' place. "Make sure to keep the dragon from entering!" She yelled, letting a few more reinforce the front lines. "Keep the gas lines from being hit!" If they lost the gas that was left, then there would be a few problems with fires from crude matches and wood fires.
Re: Shooting Star
Erza's ears perked up at Tristan's call. I think that was Tristan. Honestly Erza, you can follow a one eyed jack being shuffled by a professional mechanic, but you lose the one blue haired guy this side of the Mississippi? She thought she saw a speck of blue near a spear amidst the masses. Don't do it Erza. Its a bad idea, just turn around and keep running. "Root and Branch." She swore and headed for what she thought to be Tristan. "Tristan, you blue haired chivalrous idiot, where the hell are you?" She shouted as she waded through the crowd, painfully aware of the roaring and writhing dragon.
"Bravo Uppercut!" His fist slammed into the roof of the dragon's mouth. It didn't knock the beast out, but he made it roar in pain. "As I recall, this worked well last time. Soaring Bravo Spear!" He broke off one of the beast's canines and and jammed it into the roof of it's mouth.

Re: Shooting Star
Zelos had been following the smell of blood and what he could only assume was a mass of wishmakers all within the same area. His godly legs carried him fast like the wind. He quickly leapt from a cliff and jettisoned towards a nearby building. The large dragon howling in pain had given away the location he was heading towards, if nothing else. STrong winds erupted around Zelos' legs as he landed softly just a few paces away from the battle raging. A large, red spear that smelled of blood caught the incarnated god's attention as he looked at the dragon, and the man atop it. "I smell Wishmakers," the green haired man stated as he leapt forwards and landed with a slide, accidentally crashing into a person that he quickly realized was Remia.
The green haired man rolled over slightly and looked at Remia as he rubbed the back of his head. "I'm sorry, I didn't-" he paused as he noticed the woman was the vampire. "It's you again," he stated in mild shock. Quickly, the wind god shook it off and stood up. His left arm began to glow before he lowered his arm back under his cloak as the dragon roared just loud enough so that Zelos could see within. "And that Bravo guy is in there... I see... it seems my fate is intertwined with all of yours," the man mused to himself as he stepped back. "But there are too many normal people here for me to use my powers... so I'll need to shoot!" Zelos said as he started to fire off bullets at the dragon, intent on using them only as a distraction.

Re: Shooting Star
"You.... missed?" Hijira asked with some surprise as the nearly Ballista-sized Blood spear shot paced the rider and Dragon.
Remia scoffed. "I no more 'missed' that throw then I have the ability to tan. Something deflected my spear just now," Remia replied back, her annoyance well hidden as she watched the now ignored defenders beginning to attack the Dragon's feet when a sound alerted her to someone approaching. She bared herself as only Vampire could, barely moving when Zelos slammed into her. "So, you're back now... My my," she stated to him as she scented his slightly stronger blood. She'd need to inquire about that soon, but she had other things to do first. In truth, she would have dissolved and called back that blood from her first spear for a third shot, but she knew Bravo was holding it and really wasn't cruel enough to drop the man down the Dragon's throat. "But the real question is, what saved him and how. Hijira, please give me another of those spears. I'm going to go 'talk' to our Rider up there. Stay safe. And Zelos, I have something to ask you when I return, so please remain in the area. And stop wasting bullets, if you please," she finished. Her sister nodded and materialized another heavy spear for Remia, whom thanked her and darted off with it. Hijira looked back up to the Dragon for a minute before Gathering their things to hide in the underbrush. She would do something too. A minute or two later, Remia was flying toward the Dragon and Rider, another 'Spear the Gungnir' in her hand as both threat and show who threw the last one and a lens-shaped 'dome' of blood floating next to her to block the sun from hitting her as she flew.

Re: Shooting Star
The Dragon roared as its tooth was yanked out from inside. It opened its mouth widely, blood spilling out, but Bravo’s silver coat remained glistening. “What the hell, I’ll get you myself and rip you out of there!” The rider declared as he climbed the dragon’s scales.
Tristan heard his name and turned in the direction of the shouter, who was, by luck, Erza. “Found you!” He proclaimed as she approached him, “I don’t know why I ran here…I think it was a wishmaker.” Tristan said as a shadow overcast the two. “What is tha- Holy moly!” He looked up and saw the vampire girl with her spear and what seemed to be an “umbrella.”
It was impossible to miss her and Drake was forced to stop. “You! Kill the vampire girl! Use your claws!” The dragon would not attack her, it also seemed to be ignorant of her, but it did perform a swipe on the floor using its claws, sending a non-wishmaker or two flying miles and miles away. “Dammit! Attack her! Attack her!” Drake shouted towards his “pet” as he pointed towards the girl. The dragon looked forward, but seemed to either ignore her, or not see her. Drake began to sweat, knowing the next spear would not miss. “I’ll just kill her myself!” He drew a pistol and aimed it at the vampire girl.
