I beat Volume 1 of G.U. in like two days. <.<
(And bear in mind that I was level 50 when challenging Bordeaux, too.)

There exists one place where 70% of the posts made are all about asking if it was worth to buy Vol. 1 and 2 after they have just finished Vol. 3, asking why they felt like they didn't understand much by just playing Vol. 3, and alot of other things related to playing Vol. 3 before all others and mostly complaining about it.
Seems like Japanese were the only ones smart in this.

Like I said before. U.S. only liked it because of the flashing lights and graphics basically. It's like
you buy the game,
"REN-GEKI!!"
Player: "OMG!....I WANNA DO THAT AGAIN!!"
and the entire story is completely ignored.
It doesn't take that much to impress an American sadly. Blow something up and the attention
span is yours.

A f*cking beautiful statement right there.
Even though I'm American, I've seen that a lot of my friends are like this. I've tried to get them into .hack, and they either think it's too slow or they just plain don't know how to do anything in it.

*nodnod* The only way I can get my friends into something is by pointing out the hot guys/girls... I hang out with a bunch of fanpeople.

No, but on average, it comes down to that. I bet money only a small percentage of us actually bought the game
for the story instead of the "OMFG! REN-GEKI!" moments.

"Wanna play this game?"
"No."
"It has boobies."
"...Listening."

Not always...I didn't know about Rengekis until after the Kuhn Fight.
I liked the Box Art of GU then remembered watching ROOTS once so I said I'll play it, then became a fan^^ Although I did also like the Cover Art for Mutation but didn't have any money all those years ago >.>
And...well if you blow something up, I think someone will notice^^ anywhere, besides, since when is a person's intelligence defined by their countries?

Since we had a president with a C- average. We also have those stockpiled nukes from over 50 years, just to compete with the Russians. So...
*BOOM* OMGEXPLOSIONWHEREWANNASEE. Oh sorry, I got distracted.
Also, have you ever seen a Michael Bay movie? He's one of the people who knows that we like to see things go boom.

Who said anything about intelligence? I just mentioned that we're, or most of us, are easily distracted in games like G.U., compared to Japan.

I'm more than certain that American males aren't the only ones attracted to a game if it has boobs. After all, the .hack games were made and advertised to gamers in
Japan first.

But well, i'm almost sure that at least, there are less japanese people who buy games for that reason than american ones :/

What's wierd is the fact that Japan is considered to be the "Most Peverted Country in the World"

Are you KIDDING? Have you looked at anime in the past ten years? Most anime put an unhealthy focus on boobs.

I'm sure one show comes to everyone's mind. CODE GEASS. Something shoved in your face every five minutes.

Doesn't matter, my point still stands. lol Lots of guys will buy something for the breasticles. Although I won't be cruel and say they don't appreciate a good story too. :P
And yes, Code Geass has many of these breasticles. It's funny after awhile.
