I know it might have been asked but to be honost I don't want to read through all these posts but is it's availablity going to be like adventchildren where I could easily find it in a store or a mall or is it going to be one of those things that I'm probably going to have to buy through the net? Pm if anyone might know the answer to this thanks.

No one knows how it will be marketed in the US or Japan yet (besides being directly to DVD and Bluray). It was just announced.

final fantasy is waaaaay more popular than .hack, which is why it it easy to find a copy of advent children. when triliogy comes out, it will most likely be available at anime stores or big stores like best buy.

Well, I don't think it'll be BETTER than FFVII: AV. Remember, they are using the same system they used for the game. From the looks of it, it'll be like the cutscenes, but smoother and more well-defined. I really can't wait for this, though.

While I really do like Advent Children, I personally like the style of G.U. better, so in my book it'll already look better than FFVII >_________>;;;

I'm a little torn on the fact that it will only be 80 mins...I'm not sure if they can tell the story in that time. Regardless I want it now!

Play Asia is really floating the price up even with Yen to Dollar conversion. I'd wait for ebay sellers to see if there's any difference or wait until its localized. 100 dollars for the Bluray edition is more than what Play Asia was selling the Japanese games for; they don't have the DVD version up likewise.

Agreed. Personally, I'm not willing to spend that much on a movie. XP
But for now, it's the only way I know of to preorder it, so blah.

10$ isn't that much. The original price, after converting from yen to $ is 89$...

That's nothing. I left for months and I come back to hear of a movie, it's like my deepest dream came true. But here's a question I haven't seen been brought up: Since it's called "G.U. Trilogy" will that mean it's three movies?

No. Because there was 3 GU Games Bandai Visual Considered it a trilogy also Tri means 3. So they must of mushed it all together into one movie. but they probably left out the part where Haseo got slapped by Atoli LOL.

Mashed together? I'm having a hard time seeing that, but I don't doubt they can do it.

You know, I actually wouldn't be surprised if CC2 changed their minds and made it a trilogy of movies. I mean, they broke all kinds of commitments and original plans before, such as "no returning characters" or "Each game has a new story". Hell, did you know that originally, they were planning for it to be Corbenik in Ovan's Lock, and that Atoli was originally going to have a RL connection to Shino?

Plans change. They might just balls out on us and give us three movies.
