Sorry about being redundant, but do we know for sure that Lowenthal is voice acting for Haseo for Vol.2?

Which is what Haseo pretty much was in vol. 1 so I don't see why you have a problem with it. It fit Haseo's character.

I, for one, enjoy the English dubbing more so than the Japanese. It's partly due to the fact that it's in a language I understand thus I don't have to sit their and read subtitles the entire time. Of course there are obviously horrible dub jobs, but .hack//G.U. is no where near being one of those horrible dub jobs. It's above average as far as I'm concerned.

Lol... that would be kind of weird.... although it may even be weirder with Pi or Atoli having Sakura's voice.

Sakura as PI? no. Sakura as Atoli could be. She loves Haseo but all haseo could think about was "must..kill Tri edge"

Sasuke "kill my brother"

So their "loved" ones having the same voice's wont be that be weirder.

True.
But it would make it seem a little repetitive in characters.

Still would not be that far off.

The most that I don't like about the anime is the incorrect tone of voice for the character they are dubbing, for example Tabby. On the story is a 16 years old girl and the dubbing their voice ithat she is talking like a 40 year old woman. I was watching roots until that moment I heared her... and I just don't see the episodes since then. I just watched the japanese translated episodes. It's more fun doing it that way.

Which is why I wouldn't trust my life with any dubbed anime that's not on Adult Swim.
I've watched the subbed Roots and SIGN all the way through, not daring to touch the English dubbed versions.

There are those rare animes with the DUB sounding better then Japanese.

In Chrono Crusade I liked DUB Rosette more then Japanese Rosette.

I prefer the dub IY to the sub, particularly the growling of the original japanese voice, the dub one can actually do a decent growl, if you hear the japanese one, it is like "wtf is that" and since Inuyasha growls fairly often, it is noticable

And Naruto.... after he said something (in japanese) say something like "-bayo" (or another word...)
