"I'm with Mizuki, no matter what what." Beaux said quickly to Kyo's question. He clasped Mizuki's hand and looked her in the eyes, the hardened determination that had been there softened for a moment as he kissed her cheek. "I won't let anything happen to you." He whispered into her ear, ignoring Kazuki's claim for Phantom's head.

Kale looked about him, counting up the people. "Let's see there's Seth, Kazuki, Saya, Mizuki, and Beaux. They'll make up one team easily enough. Heh, all of the kids are together, that's good. And then there's Kyo, Sakura, Zakk, and even if I joined that'd only be four. Am I forgetting someone?" Kale's answer came in the form of an elbow to his skull. "Yeah, me you dimwitted old bastard." Tasha was obviously pissed and made no effort to hide it as she proceeded to hit Kale in the arm, hard. "Right, so clerk whoever you are, those five are a team and then the ancient vampire and his wife, along with the demon prince over there, and little old me are a team. And this old fart is wanting to get himself killed, or steal all the glory for himself. Whichever comes first. And if you're really so concerned about each team having five people then why don't you join our team?" Tasha held a dagger threateningly at the clerk. "Please, miss, I just work here." "Easy Tasha, just let him do his job. I'll go with Kyo's group if it'll be easier for you. Now as for the positions. I believe Kazuki will want the role of attacker. Beaux will make a fine defender. Seth should be good on Vanguard along with Mizuki. I'm not sure what Saya can do exactly so let's just put her at support for now. If needed we'll switch it around later, that's okay with you, isn't it?" Kale smiled and cocked his head towards Tasha and the clerk just nodded and registered the names quickly. "Now as for my team. Zakk will be the attack. Kyo and Sakura will be the vanguard. I'll handle defender and Tasha will provide support." Tasha put pressure on Kale's back with a dagger. "Close support, of course. And if you need team names the others can be Canard. And we can be what? The Sanguine Aboriginals? SAs for short? Too much?" Tasha just shook her head and stood next to Zakk. "Think this will be interesting at all?"

Kazuki: what ever dont slow me down Beaux besides yud better protect mizki if I screw up cause if you fail 2 Ill kick your ass

Saya: fine you want to see my skills Ill show you in our first match dont underestimate me I may be a girl and a bit on the small side but dont you confuse me for weak

Haruharu: I'll be sub for Kazuki's team every few matches the need to switch members around so I can fight it will be fun to fight with these guys { he points towards them} but we'll be one of the few teams with only 5 members you know so if theirs trouble better rerember to sub me in if you guys are in danger

Kazuki: heh yea right watch our first match will be over before it even starts

Zakk thought about the attack role "Definately not interesting at the start, but somewhere near enjoyable." Zakk smiled "we are gonna have to fight while holding back so much until we get up in the ranks a bit, than we can make it interesting." Zakk stared at kale "Sanguine Aboriginals, sounds like i won't remember it but i think the name fits us." Zakk smiled in agreement with the name "Hey don't let you romance hold you back okay Beaux?"

"Heh, don't worry Kazuki. I'll take care of everything you miss. So everything. And Zakk, when it comes to the business of protecting Mizuki I won't let anything stop me." Beaux looked over at Kazuki. "And protecting her brother protects her, so you don't need to worry either Kazuki."

Kale chuckles. "If that's too complex then you can just call us the Old Bloods. It amounts to about the same thing." "Or Bloody Ancients." Piped in Tasha causing Kale to smile before he walked over to Saya and places a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry Saya, I can sense your strength. Why do you think I'm having you look after my son?"

Kazuki: I dont need any of your help old man Ill show you here our match is gonna start { he waks in with his team after everything is settled and he walks up to the arena standing casually taking his position looking at the other team who just look like weirdos with special weapons but nothing special about them} this will be quick come on you guys lets deal with this here it will only take a minite hell it will only take me a few seconds

Saya: yeah sure kale { runs after kazuki and takes her position}

Haruharu: { lies back and he just relaxes} ahhh its a pretty beatiful day today huh

Kyo: well maybe we should go find some seats

Seth smirks as he looks at the losers before him "HEY! Did your ugly come with the weapon or did you buy it sepeartely?" Seth spins his pistols out of his jacket Zakk looks at the match tthats about to begin "looks like an easy win."

Kale looks on at the fight, disinterested. "Careful Beaux, you know better than most about the lies of appearances. Don't underestimate them." Tasha looks from Kale to the arena and back. "You don't honestly think those guys stand a chance, do you?" He glanced down at her. "Nevertheless." "I see your point."

Beaux stands a few steps behind Kazuki. "Just end this quickly, Kazuki, so we can move on to Phantom sooner." He stood ready, gathering lightning in his veins, ready to catch and halt any of their opponents that dared make a move past Kazuki, and ready to yank away any of their weapons, if they actually got close to Kazuki with one of them.

????: heh { the team rushes past Kazuki} welll its just you and me kid wheres your weapon

????: hmmmm { ahhh it seems like he got punched and then he keeps getting knocked a tiny bit back and it seems like hes getting punched} * what the hell is this is it some illusion know I would of sensed it fill the air what the hell then { he notices something about kazuki his fees end up in different positions every second} NO WAY THATS JUST NOT POSSIBLE!!


Kazuki: ohhhhhh good job

???: { he gets knocked out of the arena unconsious} damn Im just a sub that real attacker hasent shown up yet I just have to buy time im not cut out for this kind of thing} but how how can someone possibly move that fast

Kazuki: { hes about to punch the man n the face as a different attacker appears} hmmmm?

?????: oyyyy im the real atttacker srry i over slept ......SUB! { he jumps into the ring with kazuki atanding across from him}\} your pretty fast but lets get serious shall we

Kazuki: { makes a tight fist and smirks} sure lets do this

Beaux left one for Seth, and shot all but one of the others off the stage with a large blast of electricity. The one left spun his large axe over his head expelling the lightning skyward. "Nice trick, lightning bug. Let's see how you do when the fight gets close up. You're facing one of the fastest vampires you'll ever meet." He charged at Beaux and brought his axe-blade down where Beaux had been standing only to find him standing behind him. The man then noticed a pair of holes through his hands, realizing Beaux must have shot them when he slammed the axe down. "Huh! How did you-" Beaux cut him off with a gunshot to the back of the skull. "Fast for your kind is nothing before me." He shot the man through the heart twice before kicking the corpse off the stage.

"You two aren't dead from just that, are you?" He turned to face the back of their side of the stage where the other two he had blasted off with lightning before had just finished climbing back up. They looked towards one another and one stepped in front of the other to advance towards Beaux and the other made a rush for Saya. Beaux shot out the knees of the woman charging for Saya, causing her to fall to the ground at her feet, and also shot the weapon out of her hands and off the stage. The other he allowed to get in close to himself before ducking beneath the attack and coming up with a palm thrust to break his nose; followed by an elbow to the man's elbow, breaking the arm and forcing him to release his weapon. And finished by putting the muzzle of his pistol beneath his chin and blowing the man's skull off. Followed by two shots through the heart, and a kick that sent the corpse crashing into the stands.

"Beaux's certainly thorough, isn't he?" Asked Tasha matter-of-factly. "And brutal." Said Kale, closing his eyes as the first man's head came off. "You're freaking out over this? You're a doctor, surely you've seen worse." "Yes, but I don't see my son committing the atrocities." "A-trocities?" "He could simply knock them out." "You're using a shotgun!" "Yeah, but I'm not going to go out of my way to tear their bodies apart or show disrespect to the dead." "I suppose. And that is kind of a scary smile he's got on." Beaux was indeed smiling as he killed the second man, but it wasn't one of joy like the one Mizuki had brought out in him, it looked remarkably like one of the Kokuyoku's. "Yes, it's as if he's possessed by Takhississ herself." "The dragon queen of darkness...he is one of her brood, and of all the dragons his blood is closest to her own." "Because he's of royal blood?" Tasha just shrugged and went back to watching the fight.

Kazuki: hold one sec dude { he walks over to beaux and before he relizes beaux gets punched so hard he flies into the wall of the arena causing a huge crater and before beaux can looks up he notices Kazuki just staring him down with alot of anger in his eyes} I"m not GOING TO LET YOU MAKE MY SISTER CRY!...... I DONT CARE IF YOU ENJOY KILLING FOR ALL I KNOW IT DOESNT MATTER BUT YOUR NOT GOING to smile while you do it besides seeing you like that gets this guy very rled up { he points to his chest refering to the kokuyoku} but I'm telling you this for one warning you keep that crap up Ill beat you till you *#&#$*#@*@ out sideways

The terrifying smile on Beaux's face faded as he aimed his pistol at Kazuki and fired. Kazuki dodged, leaping towards Beaux, the man Kazuki had been fighting gripped his leg, stopping suddenly within feet of Mizuki. "Punch sense into me later, Kazuki, I don't enjoy killing but something in me does. Finish this fight. Haruharu, take over for me." Kazuki stood over Beaux with his arm back for a moment longer before punching Beaux again, just to be sure he had gotten his point across and then returned to the fight.

Kale hopped over to Beaux. "You feeling alright?" "No, I'm not. Something's waking up in me, and I'm not sure what's going to happen when it finally does." "Don't give yourself over to your blood lust. I know its difficult as you've just begun dealing with your draconic side, but for everyone's sake you must." "Any tips?" "Nope, I was always balanced by gold and red and now platinum." Tasha lands next to Beaux and offers a hand to lift him out. "Come on, us emotional types gotta stick together." She pulls him up and he places a hand on her shoulder. "No quips?" "Not right now. Maybe later my blauer sohn." "Blauer sohn?" "Huh? What are you saying Beaux?" Am I hearing things? I could of sworn she said that... "Sorry, Tasha, I think that last hit from Kazuki must have knocked me around a bit. I just need to sit down for a little while." Tasha nodded and turned around, there was a crimson streak running down the center of her hair as she walked back over to Kale. Beaux shook his head, "I must be seeing things too." He turned his attention back to watching the fight.

Kale returned to his seat as Tasha pulled Beaux up. What is happening? A pale woman with black hair sits next to him. "Whenever you're ready just use your powers and I'll take you." "Grim's outsourcing now?" "Something like that. There's a lot of death in the universe, a lot of it requires a dark touch." "So it's to Takhississ with me, is it?" An old man with silver hair sits on his other side. "You'll have a taste of both realms." "Should I be thankful for that?" "That's up to you." Said the girl before pecking him on the cheek. She and the old man then got up and disappeared into the crowd just before Tasha turned around.

Kazuki: { he looks towards the cpatain as 4 more people enter the ring} what the hell

announcer that was just the arm up now let the round one of the preliminaries people take your positions

Kazuki: { he gets ready} LETS GO!

Haruharu: { he draws his dagger} Im ready

Saya: lets go

Kazuki: HEH! { he clashes with their team captain and both thei4r fists are flying

????: WIND! { knocks kazuki back with a really extreme wind}

Kazuki: { he catches himself as his hands ignite in flames} HEH KARYU TEKKEN! { fire dragon punch!} { he punches wildly with fire but the wind extinguishes it

?????: not bad but fire cant beat wind { he kicks kazuki flying as he attacks him with wind} NOW Storm mail { a hurricane of wind surrounds his body} * is this kid really the kokuyoku some king cant even figure out the simpliest of tricks* come on kid!

Kazuki: heh!? BRING IT ON! { he keeps getting nocked back by the storm mail} *DAMN*

Beaux sighs, "Guess my break's over." He activates air dragon form and leaps into the air, almost flying over the battlefield. He comes down on their captain with an axe kick, winds emanate from Beaux's body and counteract the captain's own allowing his kick through, but it still gets blocked. Beaux flips backwards and lands next to Kazuki. "Some attacker you're turning out to be Kazuki. If I'd known you would take this long I would have dealt with him myself already." He slides his foot back as he gets into a stance. With a flick of his wrists half a dozen chakrams flew into either hand.

Beaux leaned forward and threw all of the chakrams towards the captain, but they all veered off course due to wind. The captain's smile turned to a grimace as he heard the screams of his men, realizing that it wasn't his wind that had caused the weapons to change course but Beaux's. All of the deadly halos had landed in two of the men. Only the ones facing Saya and Haruharu were untouched as chakrams were buried into the arms, legs, and chests of their comrades. Not quite killing them, but the winds carrying the weapons also carried them back several feet before dropping them on their rumps. Alright now, just give up so that I don't have to hurt you anymore.

"Air is the truest to my own blood of the five elemental dragon martial forms, and I'd be happy to perform further exhibition for you." Another pair of the odd throwing stars appeared in Beaux's hands as he readied to unleash another barrage. He beckoned with his hand and the dozen chakrams flew back to Beaux landing on his wrists. A hint of the smile from before could be seen trying to creep back onto Beaux's lips for a moment but his stoic expression returned quickly, he was finding his internal battle much more difficult than the physical one.

Kazuki: DAMMMMMMIIIIITTTT!!!!! { a huge pillar of flame erupts around him} YOU SONS OF A **** I GOT THIS HANDLED!!!!!!!!!!!!! DAMMIT

????: { he stands up and he emits his storm mail again but the wind blows over to kazuki and blows upward} it's strange his powers are seeming to react to his emotions what a eries power reacting to a persons emotions

Haruharu: dammit this is taking to long..... I got it Kazuki!

Kazuki: { turns towards HARU| GRR

HAruharu: { waves his hand} just give up you cant beat him just let beaux handle it from here

Kazuki: { the flames just dissapear for a moment}

Kazuki: WHAT DID YOU SAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! { the pillar of fire eurpts again but even bigger then before} GRRRRRRRAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haruharu: its because air tends to flow to areas of low pressure and since kazukis flames are surround it there well the'll just flow upward into the sky

????: GAH! { his storm mail fades} AH!

Kazuki: { he dashes and he slams into the team leader head first slaming him in the gut they both go flying while kazuk is entirely gulfed in flames}

????: GAH!

Kazuki: KARYU NO KENGAKU! { sword edge of the fire dragon} RAHH!! { he hepunches the leader and then kicks upward sending a curving pillar of flame upward}

????: * no way I rerember now I thought it was just a myth but it was a type of magic that the kokuyoku formed as to battle dragons but to think that this kid has mastered the dragon slayer power of the kokuyoku damn to thing a real dragon slayer exists in this time* { slams into the ground}

Kazuki: { the flames dissapear} AHHHH damn but hey Haruharu take it back see I kicked his ass and I up staged BEaux { he looks at beaux and smirks} HEH how do you like me now and my new ability

Beaux wasn't even looking at Kazuki, he had turned his back when the fire had started to get bigger and was tossing the last enemy off the stage when Kazuki made his comment. Beaux looked around at all the damage Kazuki had caused. "Impressive tantrum. Looks like you had a lot of fun. Way to be the pot calling the kettle black. Let me know if you want me to show you what power with control can do next time." Beaux left the stage to get some popcorn.

Incredible simply inncredible Kokuyoku youve even progressed to the point of the dragon slayer magic looks like our fight will be tons of fun I cnat belive it it must be hard to tell { he sees the image of kazuki attacking the team leader with his dragon slayer magic} it sends chills down my spine { he flashes back to a image of the very first kokuyoku and the first dragon king duking it out and the kokuyoku is using dragon slayer magic} * I cant wait for their next match*

Kyo: nice job their kazuki and it looks like beaux there can keep his cool in any situation but I have a feeling there may be a problem between the 2 of them later in this tournament a rift has opened and they seem to be growing further apart though its not like kazuki doesnt control its just well the problem is restraint


Kazuki: { he walks off the stage as saya follows} srry seth next match Ill let you handle them BEAUX! { he runs up behind him} dont act like you know it all you want to talk about control why dont you try a little control yourself

Before the Kokuyoku can react Beaux's arm lashes out and clobbers him through a wall, the skin on Kazuki's face broke from the punch and he's actually bleeding. "Don't you dare insult Tiamat, you impudent bloodsucker. You're time is long over, so hurry up and give Kazuki back control of his body. I don't think he understood what I meant by control. I didn't mean controlling his output, I meant keeping you under lock and key. And just because I'm of her blood does not mean she can control me like you control my friend's body. She may a part of me but I will not allow her to be a controlling factor."

Kale sits down next to Kyo. "Don't worry, Beaux might be putting distance between himself and Kazuki, but that's just because he'd rather concentrate on protecting Mizuki than worrying over Kazuki too, so he's forcing him to fend for himself a bit. Remember, he's been looking out for the two for a decade and a half. He's quite attached, even if he doesn't know it."

Beaux's hand sparks with energy as he steps towards Kokuyoku. "Now, are you going to give him back, or am I going to have to beat him out of you?"

Kazuki: { jumps up} temper temper welll what ever just thought I could say hi to someone from the past was that so bad jeez look your a thousand years to early to be picking a fight with me it doesnt matter who you are { he dodges another attack} jeez your more easily angered then kazuki { he wipes his face and licks the blood} no problem my age is over ohh well I dont even care about the blood line I just want my body back but maybe next time maybe you should try abit harder on restraint I can take a clear hit like that but what about kazuki maybe he could maybe he cant noone knows { he doges another electicty filled fist{ ohh that was a close one but fine I get it { he lets kazuki out} .......................YEAOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!! { he jumps up holding his face and he then sees beaux} DAMN BEAUX WHAT THE HELLS YOUR PROBLEM!!!!!!!! you can beat him up all you want but its my body!!!!!!

Beaux smiled and hit Kazuki on the shoulder playfully. "I had to prove a point, didn't I? Besides, I don't think the Kokuyoku at full power could kill you Kazuki, much less me." The smile faded and he got his popcorn. "Besides, Kazuki, you need to learn to keep him under control, or I'll do more than just hit you with a love tap over insulting my Goddess." He offers some popcorn to Kazuki. "Should I wood dragon form and fix your face, or should I just let the lesson sink in a bit longer? Oh, and Kazuki, I don't think I know everything, but I do have decades more experience than you, no matter how much raw power you're gifted with."

Kazuki: its fine its almost healed up anyway { his wound start healing a bit} it will probbly be healed b tomorow it wasent so bad fine but Illl rerember this if you lose control like you did before I'll knock some sense into you { he eats the popcorn and finishes it and gives him the bag with atleast a few handfuls left and gives it to him} Im not really worried about the full power killing me because he needs me but ohhh well it doesnt matter how much experiance you got your too old to keep up with me

Kyo: yeah I guess your right about that but the problem is they are sub consiously helping each other in the arena the only thing is they don really get along tooo well .......on second though its mostly Kazuki trust me I get the whole attached thing but its kinda weird you know think about it beaux acts cool headed and calm sometimes while Kazuki well rushes with out thining their kinda opposites but I guess thats what makes them work so well together
