Fortunately, you play as Haseo at the end...

As for names, I wouldn't know, but I doubt it.

Not quite sure about what you mean "at the end" ^^
Most of the time Haseo, few fights with Skeith; last fight is devided in 2 parts, so think about the rest xD

The name "Haseo" is fixed this time, so no namechange at the start.

I believe he means once you've fought the last battle and cleared the events of Rebirth...

He only ever fights bosses as Skeith, so you travel as Haseo.

Okay, so now we know that Tri-edge never speaks. Does he communicate in any way, through telepathy, expressive body language, or anything? I want to know because I'm writing a fanfic of my idea of what the final showdown between Tri-edge and Haseo could be.

He seems to make noises, gasps of pain for example...

Other than that, he seems quite expressionless, always staring wide-eyed, acting like a puppet.

I was hoping he'd speak like in the manga, though... Though all he said was a couple of words in English...

I guess I'll have to go with telepathy then. After all, it is a fanfic, never pretending to be canon. But I can't envision a scenario where you could have a final showdown without some small amount of banter.

They never say it isn't canon, just that it's not what's happening in the games at the time, if I recall correctly... At this point it's at least as canonical as XXXX and many other "serious" things in the series even without knowing how it relates to G.U.

...unless you're saying that it's only canon insofar as it's being made without information about the fight that could dictate otherwise.

It confirms that Cubia is the antithesis of Kite's Bracelet. It also raises the rather disturbing question (possibly answered in one of the other videos I haven't seen yet): If the antithesis of Kite's single Bracelet was the overwhelming power of Cubia, what is the antithesis of eight Epitaphs?

I don't believe the anti-thesis was confirmed, though this may be the reason behind Tri-Edge and the Azure Flame God.

The Terminal Disk also reveals a great amount of information concerning Ovan and Pai.

What I'm interested in is the preview for A Voice That Reminds Me Of You, which can be found here.

From what I have seen, there are five new characters:

The first is the mystery Twin-Sword girl from the arena.

The second is a player that has a helmet that suspiciously resembles a cross between an ant-eater's and a duck's heads.

Both are seen in this scene, where the girl is fighting Haseo and the duck-faced man appears in a flashback.

The third is a character I do not recognise, he is clearly a beast player and has a dog-like face.

The fourth and fifth are the two silhouettes at the end, who I am guessing are new characters, as I don't believe there silhouettes match those of any existing character. What is intriguing is that the two are presented in much the same way that Haseo and Tri-Edge were presented long ago when we first heard about GU.

The question I am posing is, are any of these characters named? Are their Classes given and are they affiliated with anyone? I'm guessing that the first three will probably have been seen in Rebirth, though there is a chance that someone may recognise and associate a character with a silhouette.

.. Could it be that Cubia to Kite's Braclet is to Tri-Edge and the Epitaphs? Just a suggestion but, much like Cubia was in opposition of the bracelet, thus opposition of Kite.. Tri-Edge is the opposition of The epitaphs, THUS opposition of Haseo and company.

Also, I'm not trying to comfirm/deny that Tri-Edge is Cubia, I'm just using Cubia as an analogy.

ya that seems plausible but it coud be too reptitive. also I highly doubt the exsitance of cubia in the new game but i do thing that tri-edge is "cubia like" so i do agree with that
