something i noticed about tabby is that since she's a cat type player, it could be related to mia/maha

There's little to no chance of a connection between Tabby and Macha, in The World R:2, Beast PCs such as Tabby, Naobi and Phyllo are quite common and perfectly legal.

And because it's behind her head Tabby just never notices it back there...lol but seriously that tail freaks the hell outta me...I mean it's just growing...outta her head...weird! And I refuse to beleive it's her hair...it's too roundish.

Oh well. It's probably BOTH. and whether it's her hair or her tail, it doesn't matter since it's still data.

Hmm... I'm not sure what you are referring to. If you're referring to the scene at the end of GIFT, I believe that was a parody of the small scene where it shows Subaru standing like a statue in the dark presumably nude. My opinion is that's why they changed the actual ending in cartoon network's ending, probably just a reference to the touchiness of Americans.

If you mean the scene where Mimiru, BT and Subaru are in the hotspring, you can hardly say any of them are 'flashing' their breasts. The only one you actually see the breasts of is Subaru.

Other than that, I can't think of anything besides Helba appearing in front of Bear and Orca naked in GIFT; making fun of her scantily-clad chest.

No character has ever flashed anyone with anything in .hack.

-cough- Okay, about Tabby. Concerns in Episode 11 do we finally see what Tabby's cheerfulness is really all about. I'm not going to say that she's actually a kid on acid, especially when she's finally revealed that she's a high school student(it was pretty obvious though). She's more like, cheerful for good reasons. And in fact,

 she doesn't always want to be cheerful.

Following the eppy, I imagined with all of that optimism she was throwing around the entire time was really her being...well...ignorant.

I'm guessing she feels that being cheerful is her obligation, that she is forced to act in that way for whatever reason. She may do it to stop herself becoming depressed, or to balance the mood of those around her.

There could be any number of reasons, but I doubt any of them is acid.

I think Tabby is really optimistic for an offline reason, since she acted cheerful from her very entry into the World. I'm sure it's probably something that will make the audience go "Aww, so sad. This character is suddenly so deep and yadda yadda. "

She's most certainly the most intresting character for the moment.

Aside from Ovan and his lock. Because it's implied in the Terminal Disc that it's not even related to his Avatar.

Maybe she is being abused in real life. Like Tsukasa's father in SIGN, how hits her.
