Max: 7 months.... ( he rubs his head as he screams out of frustration).Ahhh!! Why can't I remember?! Wait your saying I left?....But that doesn't make any sense...either way I can't go back not yet I have to figure out what what happened these past 7 months.. what do you mean retrieve me?

Max's scream had cause Selena to flinch back slightly, but as he calmed down, so did she. She waited until he got all of his questions out on the floor before she even attempted to answer them. It was odd that he had just as many questions about his own disappearance as she had, however...

"Well, this is the first time we've spotted you since you just up and vanished seven months ago, Max," she said as she pulled the picture from her pocket, holding it out to him as soon as she unfolded it. "The counsel sent me out to come and find you and bring you back to explain what happened seven months ago, although it looks like others were too... I guess some of the higher ups on the other side of the split have something against you, based on what Rider was saying when I dropped in.."

Max:...( he takes the picture as he looks at it) well it sure looks like me...look I don't know how to explain this without sounding crazy but I need you to trust me Selena when I say I can't remember a single thing the last thing I remember was Fray called me in for a mission briefing and apparentally that was 7 months ago I don't think I head back not yet anyway Wait what do you mean " other side of the split"? What happened to Cerberus?

For a moment, all Selena could do was stare. He truly didn't remember the past seven months of time, or at least he was making a pretty convincing argument that he didn't. But what could have happened to him that would cause temporary amnesia like this? Could it have been related to the mission he had been assigned to?

"I honestly can't believe you don't remember..." she finally replied with a soft sigh. She still had a few question of her own, so perhaps taking a little time to talk before they headed back to headquarters wasn't a bad plan at all. Besides, as far as she was aware, no one else from their side of Cerberus would be sent out after them this soon. They had some time to spare. "Um, is there somewhere around here that we can go and talk in private, maybe, because this will all probably take a little bit of explaining.."

Max: also there's someone you need to see he's here in this city as well( he puts his glasses back on as his eyes become normal and mot mearly as focused as they were before) I must of bought a condominium when I arrived in this town cause I woke up in one and I have the keys ( he dingles the keys infront of her face but she swipes them) not fair...( he leads her back to the condo he woke up in) so you wanna give me my keys back or you want to open the door?

The entire trip back to Max's condo, Selena thought over exactly what she would say when they started talking again. There was so much to explain apparently, and while they had some time to spare, she did need to get him back to headquarters as soon as possible. Especially with the other half coming after him already. She had a majority of it figured out mentally by the time they began to slow down.

As soon as they stopped walking, Selena tossed the keys back at Max with a faint smirk and stepped out of the way so he could open the door. As soon as they were inside, Selena began making a map of the room in her head. It never hurt to know your way around a new setting, after all.

"At least you found a nice place to stay while you were missing, Max..."

Max: ( he takes his coat off) oh yeah you know I do remember I picked this place out because of the great view...yeah right I don't even remember how I afforded a place like this ( he starts looking through different things as he goes to his closet) I must of been here for awhile... AtleAst Judging by what I'm looking at here I have a closet and drawers filled with clothes not to mention my fridge is about half way so I probablly was going to grab groceries soon...mind giving me a hand call out of you find anything okay...( he starts looking at the book shelf) come on there has to be something

Nicholas stood huffing now that his feet were on the ground. A young man's voice came hesitantly from behind, "You're not going to have us do that, are you Master Carpenter?" He took one last deep breath and faced his gathering students smiling, "If I can do it, you youngsters should be able to handle it no problem. But no, we're just doing an outdoors class today, although I would appreciate the help with clean up. You can put the ladder in the shed when you retrieve the practice dummies and don't forget the weapons."

Nicholas had two dozen students, a stand of dulled but steel arming swords and matching shields, four wooden practice dummies, identical to the ones at Cerberus except that they were hand carved rather than mass produced, and they had gotten set up on the lawn between the shed and the church itself. For the majority of it they would just practice unarmed combat, but normally after the first hour the most advanced students would get into full kit and practice with the blades. The other students would either leave or find somewhere out of the way to hang around and watch, probably with hot cocoa.

Selena began looking over the room for anything that might explain Max's extended stay, as well as his amnesia. While she looked around the room, she explained what had happened to Cerberus. It took a few minutes, but once she felt she had covered all the important details, she fell silent and waited for his reply to everything. There was no way it would be easy to take in all of that information at one time, but Max needed to know what had happened. Especially since he was already being targeted by the other side of Cerberus.

"I can't really tell you anything about your amnesia, but at least you're caught up on Cerberus now, Max. Is there anything else I can answer for you?" she asked as she turned away from the bookcase she had been looking over.

Max: what?! ( after a loud thud is heard through out the Condo as he pops out of the bedroom) ow wait so your telling me that Cerberus split wait so the organization is at war with each other you can't be serious your pullin my leg Selena wait hold on we broke apart and split 7 months ago? ( he keeps looking when he finds a safe) hey Selena what do you think of this? Suspicious enough?

"It might have something of interest inside of it. I mean, if you went through all of the trouble to find and use a safe seven months ago, you had to have something important that you wanted to keep safe," Selena replied as she walked over to see the safe. If it held anything inside, it would most likely be some kind of clue as to what happened to Max. There was always the possibility that it was empty, however, so Selena didn't get her hopes up.

"And yes, Cerberus is currently at war with one another. Almost exactly half of the group went one way, and the other went the other. It's been nothing short of a hassle for us..." she continued as she leaned against the wall behind her, her eyes never leaving the safe. Hopefully Max remembered how to get into the safe so that they didn't have to try to force it open.

Max:now that we're speaking of Cerberus I have question am I the only assassin who was missing?This whole thing is just there's something odd can it be whatever screwed with my memory also affected Nicholas's? But if that's so how many of us are left but why did Cerberus suddenly split...dammit I'm so frustrated why can't I remember anything? And what could of been so important I'd need to lock it up in a safe? ( after examing the safe he makes a face as if he remembers the combination) no way! How can I be so stupid of course it was infront me the whole time!

Selena thought over Max's question momentarily before answering. "Well, a few members quit before the split actually happened, but no one else just up and vanished like you did. You're basically the only member who managed to go off the radar," she answered mere seconds before he appeared to remember the safe's combination. At least he was beginning to remember some things. Maybe this was only a temporary amnesia. Selena could only hope...

"Do you think you can get it open now?" she asked curiously, as she was beginning to get just as curious about the safe's content as he undoubtedly was. Seven months was a long period of time to just up and forget, and if the contents of the safe, if there were any that was, could help fill in some gaps, they needed to get it open as soon as possible.

Max: yeah im pretty sure this should work (he draws his gun as he wacks the latch hard as it break open a tiny bit) there you go...( awkward silence fills the room from his reaction) what?...( he opens the safe as he looks inside the contents are 2 classified looking folders a necklace with a sterling silver cross on it)...what? The ( he avoids the two things as something comes over him and he picks up the necklace)....( he looks at the necklace closely as he zones out but Selena snaps him back by drawing his attention to the other things) so what exactly is this stuff?

"I'm not sure..." Selena said softly as she took a seat on the floor next to Max, her hand cautiously reaching for the folders. She pulled them out and looked at the labels on the outside of them. Nothing stood out that she could see, but they certainly looked important. Max had looked as if he were possibly remembering something when he took out the necklace, so she gave him an extra minute or two alone in his thoughts before she spoke again.

"None of it is familiar to you?" she asked while opening the folder on top. She began scanning the information, but it didn't mean anything to her based on what she read. She handed the folders to Max with a soft sigh and laid her hands on her lap once they were free, her gaze watching his reactions carefully. It was odd that he had only stored three things in a safe, and the fact that she hadn't seen anything related to Cerberus on the folders only increased her curiosity.

Lily entered her room, removing the clothes she wore carefully. She had two closets when she got up. One was for the remains of her thoughts and the dream like state. The second was for her revenge. She pulled out a pair of tight blue jeans, black combat boots, and a corset like top. She looked at the necklace she kept on. It was a pure diamond that Rabbit had stolen just for her when she moved in. Of course, his closet was empty. His presence in the room had invaded her mind, even if his clothes did not stay. She put her hair up in a french braid, gaining a bit of a grin as she placed on her fingerless gloves. "The moon shall be red with Scott's blood tonight, Rabbit. Soon he'll tell me everything about your death." The puzzle wasn't something she knew would be solved easily. Her first order of business would to see what information the others could dig up.

"Alice," A man spoke as she exited the room, looking at where her hands went. Alice kept her daggers in places most wouldn't see unless they wanted to die. "There is a man matching Scott's appearance and genetic code in one of the rich flats." He noticed a slightly bigger smile on her face.

"So he got to live large off of Rabbit's death. I suppose we'll have to liberate some of that wealth for ourselves." She held a knife up to her tongue, barely touching it. "Perhaps even his blood could be made into currency." She lowered the knife slowly and motioned to be lead to where they would have to make an actual attack plan.

Max: right ( he looks at the folders as he opens up the second one And he examines the contents) we should really take the time to go through these ( he looks into the safe once more as he finds a hidden compartment) wait a second...what's this now?...( he fixes his glasses) I'll make us some coffee its gonna take us some time sorry but can you help me out with this? For old times sake

Rider: ( talking on the phone) yeah I understand oh right while I have you Selena showed up and I can Only assume she's siding with phantom in this whole thing also I think it might be possible that he may have forgotten everything these past 7 months just give me the word and I'll proceed with the mission

Vincent had sealed himself inside of an office that had one large window where light was shining through. The room was large and the window took up most of the space on the back wall which towered over him as he sat at a desk flipping through papers. Everything from newspaper articles to Cerberus documents were in a pile he was shuffling through. Nothing has been the same and time alone isn't going to fix it. The news articles didn't hold much information on Cerberus to a normal person, but people involved in the affairs know about it's cover-ups. I can tell who did most assassinations up until seven months ago. It seems even the assassins became sloppy after the split. Vincent finishes the pile and begins pulling some articles and documents out from the pile and putting them in a folder, as he organizes the papers a knock interrupts the silence. He closes the folder and looks up as the door opens, a butler enters and bows. "The gifts have been taken care of, and the front gates have been locked as you wished. We will turn away any visitors unless you order otherwise." Vincent nods in approval and puts the folder in a drawer with other folders inside. "Only collect personal letters and take care of the necessary bills. I don't have time to waste reading more letters asking me to speak out against or for reform. So burn them if they come." "Yes sir." The butler bows again and closes the door. Vincent stands from his chair and turns to the window and walks up to it. The garden below is filled with bright colors from flowers.

Father Carpenter's phone rings and he turns to one of his students. "Daniel, it's Mr. Blood. Can you finish up? Oh and if anybody comes looking for me just give them my number." Nicholas took a quick cold shower and changed into fresh clothes and his duster. His truck was an old white one with a gun rack in the back window complete with a hunting rifle although he also placed the greatsword Nothung beneath it. Conversely, Balmung was small enough that he could still comfortably wear it while driving. Great volumes of steam billowed up from the engine while he drove and Nicholas pulled over. When he pulled open the hood a massive cloud of steam escaped. "That's not good." He coughed and stepped away, looking around he spotted someone, "Excuse me sir, I hate to disturb you, but do you happen to have any water on you?" Nicholas asked as he approached Rider. He hid it as best he could, but Nicholas grew tense as he got close to the assassin, and he probably wasn't as good as he was when he was working for Cerberus; something about him was setting off warning bells.

Rider: ( he glances at the man) well now this is interesting what were the chances of me running into two of you today and here I though phantom was the only interesting part about this city....( he grins as he shrugs) sorry I don't have any water but why so tense Templar? By the way you wouldn't happen to know where little phantom ran off too?

Max: ( he looks around at the files as all of a sudden he's filled with a stew he feelif) was a second I've read these before something about these files...Why is my instinct telling me to burn these and never look back....and this feeling I can't shake it something big is gonna happen...
