It's no problem at all I figure you guys can explain the situation better than me ( he walks inside with the two as he knocks on a door next to his own room as Everett emerges slowly from kazuto's room with a beanie hat on with a standard hoodie and dark cargk pants with converse sneakers on with headphones around his neck as he looks at the two with Kazuto his eyes seems different the fact that he's part snake is evident from his eyes and the scales on his face).....hey why are you coming out of my room?

Everett: that's your question? Oh well fine if you must know I was looking for my snake anyway who are these two it seems important you guys wanna talk in kazuto's room ( he walks into kazuto's room)

Kazuto: why my room? Wait hold on one second rei ( he goes into his room as you can hear Kazuto arguing with Everett and ruffling around a loud crash as Kazuto emerges) wont you come in? Just had to clean up Abit

When Kazuto emerged from his room, Rei couldn't help but giggle. "Sure. Thanks, Kazuto, though you didn't have to pick up for me. I assure you, I've seen worse..." She glanced toward Jason and giggled again as he mocked depression.

"You're just going to keep throwing me under the bus the rest of the day because of earlier, aren't you, Rei? Look, if I apologize will you leave it be?"

"Nope. You decided to be a jerk, and now you're going to pay for it, Jason." She pet Jason on the shoulder with a smirk and followed Kazuto in his room with Jason not far behind her.

Kazuto: ( his room is filled with art related materials and music materials overall it's standard set up nothing special the room is about the size of a living room so it's not tight space in the least it was actually a pretty nice looking room) sorry its not the cleanest but trust me it wasent in a good state before rei Jason this is Everett

Everett: wait a minute rei?.... No way your kazuto's girlfriend aren't you?! ( he runs over and shake her hand enthusiastically) it's no nice to finally meet the girlfriend of my best friend ( Kazuto blushes as Everett smirks at him and he looks towards Jason)....yo what's up man? ( he sits on kazuto's bed as he conti IRS to tease Kazuto for a good while by asking rei a bunch of questions and after he finishes he smiles at the group) so what was it you guys wanted to talk about?

Rei had happily talked to Everett, and was glad to see that she wasn't the only one who had friends that were so into embarrassing their friends. "It's really nice to meet you, Everett," she said with a tender smile, although she mentally struggled to keep it on her lips due to the purpose behind their meeting. Jason nodded, agreeing with her statement, and leaned against the closed door with crossed arms.

"Kazuto kind of volunteered you for something," Jason finally said, a half-smile on his lips. "A kind of big something, actually. It's completely up to you whether or not you accept, of course, but it would be nice to have a few extra hands on the job."

Everett: wow your boring all business i guess...well that depends really kind of Jon we talking about here I don't know how I can be of use to a shapeshifter hunter like yourself...( a ominous feeling fills the air after he makes that statement) I like to keep myself under wraps much like Kazuto but like Kazuto I'm Abit different than others if you couldn't allready tell ( the feeling disappears soon after he calms Jason's nerves) now then what exactly do you need of me? It's fine really I owe Kazuto some favors I guess he just wants to cash it in ahaha

Kazuto: ( remains calm the entire time ) sorry Everett is different he likes to freak people out is a big thing he likes to do sigh

"It's fine. If there's one thing we're are used to, it's intimidation. Also, not to seem rude, but we don't just hunt shifters. I have a better connection to them because of my father, but I don't hunt them more because of it. If anything, it makes me a little more cautious about taking those jobs," Jason said with a flat tone, although Rei knew him enough to know that he was getting angry. She laid her hand on his arm and felt his tension levels begin to fall immediately. He took a deep breath and continued. "I'm sorry if it came off that way, though. I know it's uncomfortable to be asked for help by two hunters you don't know," he added to soothe over the mood a little. Rei kept her hand on his arm just in case, but Jason seemed okay now.

"Like Jason said, it's completely up to you if you decide to help us, Everett. We're going to be going after a vampire sometime soon, and she's extremely powerful. Jason and I could probably take her on our own, but she's had some time to build a small army by now and the last time we met her, she had an army of ancients at her disposal. Because of that, we figure it wouldn't hurt to take in a little extra power... You seem to be pretty powerful, from what little spark of power you just showed us, but as we said, it's completely your choice. It could get bad, I won't lie to you about that, bu-"

"But you're powerful enough to handle yourself if you choose to come with us. I can sense it," Jason chimed in, a light smile finally making it's way to his lips. "It pays well too. We'll split the payment if you want a little incentive, but don't choose to do it for the money. That will only end badly."

Everett: I don't need your money but a pay would be fine....you don't seem to understand I didn't say you were a hunter of shapeshifters I said your a hunter who is a shapeshifter anyway for what you told me you need all the help you can get I'm not a fan of conflict but if what you said was true then you need my help I'll go alOng with it ur if it's just a vampire and her little army your worried about Kazuto co-( Kazuto throws something at him)

Kazuto: can provide cover for you two and maybe a distraction

Everett: ( he gets back up) anyway I'm in I suppose

Jason elbowed Rei softly in a way that the others wouldn't notice, giving her a silent cue. She sighed in return, acknowledging it. "That's one of Jason's weak spots, Everett. Don't worry about it. Anyway, if you're really sure you don't mind helping out, thank you. It's nice to have someone who's powerful, but also that we can trust, going in with us."

"Well, that's one down. A possible two more to try for. You need to go get your bike still, right Kazuto? How about I take you for that and we drop Rei off to meet with her brother in the process? By the time we get back, she should be done and then we can regroup later to finalize this plan," Jason offered a few moments later. "Unless you think you could get Asher to work for you with just a call, Rei?"

"It would probably be best if I try to talk to Jess in person. This is a pretty serious question to ask her, after all..."

Ember awoke to having her face being played with. She swatted blindly and the ghost child retreated to behind the spectral capo's legs. "Apologies for the rude awakening, but there is a matter concerning your truck that demands your attention, Ms. Darklight." When she was groggy like this, Ember was often surprised by the strength of her "landlord", he was able to toss her violet robe from where it lied near the bathroom door up onto her bed and he had the decency to leave. That took her equally by surprise, and so she pulled the robe on and walked outside. Quite the crowd had gathered round her truck, both living and dead although the former kept a little more distance. She finally caught sight of what everybody was chattering about. A large leathery blue wing concealed the majority of the dragon in the bed of her truck but she recognized the face instantly and she climbed into the back to make certain Jess was still breathing . "Is it dead?" Somebody whispered much more loudly than they had meant to. "No, she's still quite alive. Just sleeping." Ember stated with relief. "If somebody called 911 you can tell them they don't need to come anymore." Ok, so how am I going to get her back home and dressed? I don't have anything that fits her and she lives like halfway across town. Robin finally trotted out of the bedroom, dragging her glowworm, as Ember dressed hurriedly. "Fat lot of good you were. Just let any old spirit walk in here why don't ya?"

Ember tried to call Asher, but somebody had decided to chew on her cell last night. "Rubin! What have I said about the phone?" So she pulled the address book out of her Jacket and used the LAN Line. "Hey, Asher, I need a little favor. Just uh come on over and I'll explain when you get here."

Asher arrived at Ember's place ten minutes after they had hung up. She had said she would explain, but as he parked his car the reason became evident. A blue dragon wing showing from over the top of the bed of her truck said it all. He knocked on the door to let Ember know he was there and walked over to the crowd. "Alright everyone, clear the scene. Police," he called loudly, flashing his badge. Most of the living sightseers backed up at the sight of his badge, allowing him a better view of the unconscious dragon.

'Jess, what did you get yourself into?...' he thought as he looked her over quickly to check for any visible wounds.

Kazuto: yeah I guess we'll all meet up later Than? Yeah I mean that is If we're finished here I guess we can head to get my bike if it's not too much trouble

Everett: cool ( he lay back on kazuto's bed) allright then I'm gonna take a nap I'll meet up with you guys wait where do I meet you the station?

Kazuto: sleep on your own room!!! ( he shakes his head as he sighs) lets go get my bike I guess

"Rei's house can be the headquarters, seeing as how it's the largest space," Jason offered in response to Everett's question. It earned him a sharp glance, but Rei ultimately nodded in agreement, sighing.

"He has a point. And it's closer to everyone than the station is. Here, Everett: We'll get back to you when we finish recruiting and you can meet us here. If you need a ride or anything, Jason doesn't mind being a chauffeur for you, so just let us know." She wrote down her address and phone number on the back of one of Jason's business cards and handed it to him with a smile.

"So, we'll drop you off on the way, Rei, and go get Kazuto's bike, right?" Rei's nod was all the response he needed. He threw up a hand toward Everett and smiled, calling, "Thanks again. Later," before leaving the room. Rei also thanked Everett again and followed after him, leaving Kazuto alone in the room with his friend for a moment in case they needed to talk privately for any reason. After all, they did both just sign on to help with a pretty dangerous hunt. It also gave Jason long enough to pass another business card to Rei as they walked to the car, a quick message scribbled on the back. It read: "Kazuto's more powerful that he's letting on. Do you know what you're getting into?" Rei nodded, replying silently, and crumpled the card up, stuffing it in the pocket of her jeans. "Trust me," she whispered, climbing into the front seat of the Jeep.

Kazuto: you don't have to do-

Everett: shut up dude stop man I want to dude besides you saved my life rerember don't worry I got your back I know your gonna be too busy watching the back of those two totals care of yourself besides if I'm right you haven't told her yet right that your not just a normal vampire

Kazuto: ( he smiles to himself) thanks Everett I owe you ( he walks out as he arrives at the car) so you want to go now?

"That's fine," Rei replied with a gentle smile. As soon as Kazuto was in the car, they headed toward Asher's house. They were only a few streets away when a small crowd of people became visible. Rei looked at the area carefully and suddenly yelled, "Stop the car!" Before Jason had the car fully stopped, Rei jumped out and rushed over to the crowd.

"Asher's car's here," Jason called to Kazuto, trying to give him some hint as to why Rei was acting as she was. "We should probably sit here for now unless she starts screaming. From what I can see from here, it doesn't look like he's the thing they're all gawking at, but we'll find out in just a moment." When he saw Rei run through the crowd and didn't hear a scream, he let out a breath he had unconsciously been holding. "Good. It's not Asher..." he said, looking at Kazuto with a small smile. "Wanna go on and get your bike while Rei deals with whatever's going on here? She'll be fine; Asher's safe, so whatever it is that's going on, she won't need us. Plus, we were going to drop her off anyway, right?"

Kazuto: ( he looks off in her direction as he sniffs the air discreetly and remixes there no present danger as he sighs a sigh of relief as well) sure yeah that sounds good im sure rei can handle whatever is going on so whenever your ready ( he hops into the passenger side)

Jason sniffed twice as well and nodded. "No blood. No death. Yep, she's alright. Let's go then," he said before driving off toward the forest. "Your friend. Is he truly okay with helping us, because if not, you should talk him out of it," he said a few moments later, never taking his eyes off the road. "Trust me: It's not easy to lose someone you care about.."

"Move it! Police official!" Rei called as she made her way toward the center of the crowd's focus. When she saw Asher standing by a truck a heavy weight lifted from her chest and she slowed down. Asher looked up just as she entered the clearing, a mixture of surprise and confusion lighting his face.

"What are you doing here?" he asked, stepping away from the truck slightly.

"I could ask you the same. What''s going o-..." Rei noticed the blue wing as well and immediately fell silent. "Is that.."

"Yes, but I think she's fine. Just unconscious."

"We need to get her to a hospital then, Ash. Have you called someone yet?"

"Ember's here. She said she could take care of it, so we canceled the ambulance. I'm just here to help get her inside, I think,,,"

Maram entered the atrium as Cole Delano sat down for a cup of tea. She sat down across from him, allowing him to speak first. "Were you able to do all the errands you needed to finish?" She nodded, her expression calm. "It seems that you are related to Adil Lotis. He's set on making you a legitimate heir to his family and feels it is unnecessary to live the way you have for so long." He kept his gaze into hers. "What is your opinion on the matter?"

"I'm afraid I wouldn't be comfortable in that sort of life. If he is indeed interested, why now?" She asked, her eyes seeming to lower. "After all this time, he bothers to check on his heirs just because he has none to inherit?"

"I agree with that opinion. If it was indeed his intention, he shouldn't have waited so long. I understand your answer." He nodded to the maid to begin serving the tea. "For now, you'll stay here. I want this mess to be solved before I make any further decisions."

Kazuto: I know what you mean better than anyone but even if I tried too he'd still show up that's the problem he's just stubborn but I allready decided I'm not going to lose anyone again Besides Everett's strong He's alot stronger than he looks ( he looks out the window) I'm never going to lose anyone clos to me again ( he clenches his fist) even if I tried Everett would still go that's the problem...( he laughs playfully as he relaxes his hand) sOrry about that

"Trust me, I understand that perfectly," Jason replied with a faint smile. "I just thought I would tell you one more time just in case you actually could stop him at this point. I believe that he's strong, don't doubt me on that, but strong doesn't always help, nor do smarts. You can't go in thinking it will be a walk in the park just because we have a group with varied skill traits with these sort of scenarios, though, because it doesn't always work out the way it should..."

He fell silent for a little while as they grew closer and closer to the forest. The taller trees were now visible. They were getting close. "Like I said, don't let me scare you. I just don't know what you're capable of, how long you've been around, or what you've seen in your time. I just want you to be as mentally prepared for the fight as you can."

Kazuto: it's okay I've seen a lot of fighting in my time and I've been through worse situation and the last thing k'll ever be is think this will be a walk in the park it's gonna be a long night..like usual it's good thing I dot have class today the ( he laughs jokingly as they arrive he gets out of the car as he walks to his bike) thank god it's still hear I think rei would of killed me if it was stolen or if it got lost ( he sighs a sigh of relief as he places his helmet on and he starts his bike up).. So what's the plan now Jason?
