Happens when you buy a house and become a father, the extra money flow for .hack awesomeness comes to a screeching halt.
Kuukai is right, plenty of .hack items to raise your kid on...just some of them are hard to come by. Nothing that having a cut out of Kite's face on a random bubble bath bottle and tins of spaghetti wouldn't fix :D

Falions wrote:It was mentioned earlier in the thread, but I bought the .hack//Block the day of its release, and paid a nice $20 for a mail forwarding service to bring it here (though I would've liked to not have to have paid the price for it twice)
Not sure if it was you on facebook but saw images posted on the Guilty Dragon group on Facebook xD Sucks that we need to use forwarding services when amazon.co.jp could just ship them to us like they do with CDs/DVDs/Books >.<

.hack//Block looks amazing when build, didn't think it was so complex to build this...now they'll probably bring out more o-0
xD the pixelated grunty looks adorable and its quite the comparison between figure and block Kite~

I won the mouse mat in an auction ^.^

Lucky you! I'm always on the lookout for rare (albeit useless) .hack things... I recently bought a bunch of books on amazon.co.jp because they were all 1 yen! Let's hope my mail forwarding service doesn't charge me out the ass for them...

Which group would that happen to be? I'm not part of any, but it would be cool if someone reposted my images (I originally shared those on Tumblr).

Unfortunately all I can think of is the memorial cookies at the LieN concert, but I figured that was close enough...

:D Hope you can get those books without any hefty fees seeing as they are only 1 yen, though the postal service is always after money >.>

The one Erroneous mentioned, though it was probably someone else entirely xD

Thanks for linking that ^_^

I could have sworn people had posted about the Gag Concept book on that group..or I might be thinking of another. I'm assuming thats the Guilty Dragon 4koma?

^.^ I'd agree with you there, while we are on the topic .hack needs some more snacks or food related items. Perhaps a .hack//Chocolate bar xD

Is that the Beez (UK) version,a US complete set or the re-release from FUNimation? ?_?

Which version do you have? I believe most of the complete sets are pricey now with the exception of FUNimation's re-release @.@

Image

Latest arrivals: .hack//Archives 03 LIGHT and several .hackeys ^-^ The clear Blackrose (Rena?) was in the .hack//Legend of the Twilight Japanese set, hadn't taken of photo of it ^^'

^_^ then you helped support the new .hack releases and got a much better deal out of it compared to paying $100+ in some cases for the same content.

Seems like the .hack//Canvas' are either running getting their stock renewed or have been stopped completely :/ i'm hoping its the former as I still need to pick up the rest.

Where did you get those .hackeys??
Also, I've got the black edition of Archives_03, the one that looks like the Book of Twilight. It's possibly my favourite collectible!

I also recently ordered a bunch of the guides from amazon.co.jp, and am patiently waiting for their arrival. I know I won't be able to read them, but who cares, right??

I normally find them in auctions ^_^
Ah the hardback version of 03~ Definitely one of the coolest looking archives :D I still need to pick up the LIGHT versions for 01 and 02 BLACK ^^'

Exactly, just having them is enough and you probably get the gist of what they say as you've played the games ^.^

Some new arrivals...

I actually bought the first guide way back in Christmas 2013 (along with .hack//Analysis; I try to get myself a gift every year that's .hack-related, and last year I really splurged and got the Archive_03 BLACK edition) and recently decided to complete the set because I saw they were all only 1 yen on amazon.co.jp. After searching for sellers who were selling them together to avoid extra consolidation costs with my mail forwarding service and $35 of my sweet Canadian dollars later, I finally have a bunch of guides I won't be able to understand! Never trust me with any money. I have no regrets.

I actually studied Japanese for 2 years at a local school here, and at the most all I can read is Yotsuba, and understand a few sentences here and there in anime (which sometimes bugs me because Japanese grammar is backwards and it plays tricks on my brain when I'm trying to read the subtitle in reverse)

A bonus:
Image
A young Hiroshi Matsuyama featured in an interview I wish I could read. Hasn't aged a bit!

EDIT: SSJScygoku, I just realized your bedsheets(?) are somewhat .hack-y. I'll never look at hexagons the same way again!

For anyone who wants to blow a lot of money, I found limited-print reraised cels on Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.jp/s/ref=nb_sb_nos ... ズセル画+.hack

Since all the .hack anime were digital, these are painted cels that were produced to resemble cels that would have been used to animate this series a decade prior.

^-^ Always nice to see new photos in this thread, feels like its mostly me posting~ Good work getting the guides for cheap, aslong as the money is on .hack it is never wasted! :D

@O@ Hiroshi is immortal!!

Yup they are my bedsheets and that they do xD hexagons are .hack is disguise~

o-0 sweet mother of Aura, the price of just one of those re-raised cels is high enough but there is so many!
