You know, shouldn't the latest trailer that showed Endrance transform be described as showing Macha not Maha?

Macha, Maha, マハ... whatever, it's all the same.PyroTwilight wrote:You know, shouldn't the latest trailer that showed Endrance transform be described as showing Macha not Maha?
Yeah, but isn't it generally used that Maha was the cat wearing a hat that was friends with Tsukasa and Macha for the Phase form Kite fought to differentiate them?Shinsou Wotan wrote:Macha, Maha, マハ... whatever, it's all the same.PyroTwilight wrote:You know, shouldn't the latest trailer that showed Endrance transform be described as showing Macha not Maha?
That is a mistranslation. It's Macha whether it's the cat or the Phase.PyroTwilight wrote:Yeah, but isn't it generally used that Maha was the cat wearing a hat that was friends with Tsukasa and Macha for the Phase form Kite fought to differentiate them?Shinsou Wotan wrote:Macha, Maha, マハ... whatever, it's all the same.PyroTwilight wrote:You know, shouldn't the latest trailer that showed Endrance transform be described as showing Macha not Maha?
Generally yes, to differentiate them. Personally, I've always used Macha as I learned that was the "correct" way it was to be. Though it's unsure really. Macha would be the German spelling, correct?PyroTwilight wrote:Yeah, but isn't it generally used that Maha was the cat wearing a hat that was friends with Tsukasa and Macha for the Phase form Kite fought to differentiate them?Shinsou Wotan wrote:Macha, Maha, マハ... whatever, it's all the same.PyroTwilight wrote:You know, shouldn't the latest trailer that showed Endrance transform be described as showing Macha not Maha?
It is in Gaelic ("Mah-kah"), and I don't actually know about English, but in Japanese the pronunciation of the goddess's name is "Ma-ha", same as the character. If the English pronunciation is wrong it's 'cause someone messed up and just went with the Japanese pronunciation...milliennium_fox wrote:Though the Japanese version of A.I. Buster 2 has it spelled as "Maha." On the other hand though, they misspell "Male" and "female" in English.=P
From what I understand, Macha is pronounced differently from what we've been hearing (Ma-ha)...
EXACTLY what I thought the instant I saw that thing!Maromi wrote:Haha, Cait Sith, anyone? :]
It's called Keroro Gunsou ("Sergeant Ribibit" or something to that meaning). When they first showed it at the fan festival, I was hoping it would end up as a minigame like Snake vs. Monkeys, but it's just the video ;_;Michael_JG wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWsXthzKOyE
