Sylpharion looked up from his work. "Apologies, I was rambling there." He took a quick head count of the mm players arriving. "Yeah there really are. So, Fyron, what wild and crazy job do you have? Fireworks technician? "

Fyron: fire works technician i wish...oh I'm a soccer player well technically I'm a college student but soccer is a big part of my life right now so I'm nothing to impressive at the moment

Kara: yeah that's about the same except that I'm my schools soccer team advisor I'm 21 by the way I'll be a teacher in 5 months its almost unbelievable honestly so what's being an engineer like I'm sure my brother is interested?

Adol: yeah but I don't want to pester him about it. ( he rolls over )

Nagi ( she smiles at Adols answer) really your such a kid sometimes just b honest with yourself.

Reid: hmmm well I'm not sure I'd say the armor you have now is fine maybe we should go weapon searching I mean are you using the starter twin blades? I think we all need to get some more equipment what do you say?

"I don't mind, we're not really doing anything just now anyways. I've worked for both others and myself. Both require a lot of hours devoted to your work, but it's fun and when you get to experience your project working it's pretty awesome. Although it can sometimes take a while to figure things out on large projects, especially if you're primarily working by yourself. Of course, a lot of it is also going over data, lots and lots of data. Some days I log in here and just find somewhere nice to sit for the day while I examine it and try to figure out why it's not working or not working the way I want it to. Example, there's a problem that I've been trying to figure out for the past few months and haven't made any headway on, plenty of other ones have come up and been resolved since then, but there's a few stubborn ones that just refuse to get solved." He shrugged, "Hey, why don't you come up and take a look at the data when you've got a free week. Maybe a fresh pair of eyes will see something I can't. I would just send the data to you, but you really need to fully understand what it is you'd be working on and it's a pretty freaking huge piece of software."

"Actually..." Kite held out his arms and dropped everything in his inventory. "I saved the most important equipment from before we were caught. I thought...maybe one day ya know?" He scratched the back of his head and forced a smile. "It held memories ya know? I couldn't just let it go."

Reid: oh wow good job kite! You seriously saved all your old equipment so we have you taken care of unless you didn't by any chance store mine and sennas old equipment did you?

Adol: ( he sits up as he pulls up the data) oh here's the problem..( he begins to play around with the data) and put this here but oh wait I shouldn't be playing with this shouldn I? Sorry I'll put it back but here is where you got stuck right ( his face is almost lit up with excitement looking at the data)

"I have only your weapons and main body armor," he said, shacking his head, "I didn't want to weigh down my character so much that I couldn't advance, I grabbed what I thought would help the most.. I'm sorry if it isn't enough." He bowed his head, almost as though he were apologizing to a superior

Reid: what the hell are you apologizing for??... Jeez we're you always such a wuss? ( he laughs) jeez just storing that much was more then enough kite I mean I thought we had to get all new gear good job!

Marcus spoke slowly, the kid wasn't necessarily wrong, but... "Yeah, playing with it would be bad." He closed the file and then rapidly typed something up. "Like I said, you need to know what you're going to be working on before you start working on anything. So, here." Sulpharion messaged Adol. "It's a privacy agreement. Long story short you can't tell anyone about what I'm about to show you. "Sign" it, y'know reply with an I agree to the terms etc. and then follow the instructions." Sylpharion placed a hand on Kara's head. "Sorry, we'll be back in a few minutes." Sylpharion seemed to warp out, he even seemed to still be "online" according to the Friends list.

Marcus appeared in a white room, a blank field CCcorp. had set up for him to use, it required special permissions to access. After a moment he loaded up a render of his hospital room from his memories, complete with him lying on the bed with the medicuboid attached. When Adol appeared Marcus spoke, "This is a memory of mine. That's me on the bed, and that thing covering my head is called the Medicuboid and that is what I'm working on software for. It intercepts all nervous transmissions from my body to my brain and vice versa. Which is good considering the state of my body. Fair warning, don't make any mistakes. I accidently trapped myself in the Forest of Pain for a week once and the pain limiter was wigging out. If I had died in there my brain would have been fried, so no pressure to be perfect." Marcus grinned at Adol, "So, you in or out?"

"Holy crap Kite!" She exclaimed as she leaned down and started digging through the pile.

Adol: so your not a normal player are you?.... Of course sis can't ever meet normal players. ( he sighs) fine I'm in I have one condition I have to balance my school work with this though so if school is too much then that takes priority then I'll work on this after I get that done and ( he clicks agree) to late to say no to my demands now

Reid: wow senna your really diving right on into it ( he looks at kite) seriously this is awesome you have no idea how much you saved us here...so then you find your stuff you two?

"I'm sorry I just...." She look paused and looked at the few items in her hands "Kite, I can't believe you kept all of this stuff"

"Asides from the way I control my character, I'm otherwise normal. I don't really have any more authority over the world than you. And you're right, your studies must come first." Marcus sat down on the bed and motioned towards his still form. "I'm not going anywhere. So there's no rush, besides the more you learn the better your work will be. In the meantime you need an internship for your degree, right? Contact your school advisor and have them contact me through official channels at Argus Computing so that we can set up an official internship tomorrow. For now, let's get back to the others." Sylpharion entered a command and they reappeared back with the others. "Sorry for taking so long, we've reached an accord."

"It was this..." He said, holding his hands out to the pile, "That kept me going. The light in the darkness. This is why i'm still here..." He shook his head and sighed. "Hope. The thought I might see you again... Ried...Senna..I love you guys." He began to blush slightly, but he didn't falter in his voice. "When I was thrust into this world, I thought the worst...and I... Senna... I don't want to spend another day without you... Senna... I.." He shook his head lightly and looked away. "Reid. Senna. Thank you."

Reid: yeah well just keep holding on a little longer kite were back together again...( he puts his hand on kites head) I'm going to get you out of this game even if it kills me I don't want anyone else close to me to suffer I made the mistake of thinking it was all over when we got out those years ago not again we won't leave you alone again that's a promise. But ya know its whatever honestly no big deal anyway we should probably get going right? I mean we don't want to be late !

Adol: you wouldn't get it even if I explained it honestly

Fyron: hmm? ( he looks over towards the tree as it begins to glow) hey it looks like it might be starting soon guys

"Shop talk. Nothing interesting." Marcus said in explanation to Kara. He genuflected next to her, in much the same position he took between matches, to watch the event unfold. Sylpharion removed his gloves, took hold of Kara's hand with one of his own, and smiled at her. Something felt out of place about all of this but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. Maybe I'm just being paranoid or maybe it's the medicuboid acting up. One way or another, I'll find out in a minute.

Kara: ( once sylpharion takes her hand all of a sudden she flashes back to a time where her Reid and a red haired flick reaper were together smiling this image takes her by surprise as she jumps a little as she looks to sylpharion) oh I'm sorry I just thought of something weird....why did that memory suddenly come to mind I haven't seen Reid ever since he left and Ren just disappeared jeez that was weird... ( she looks up just as a red haired flick reaper walks past their group heading straight for the tree).....(Kara almost instinctively stands up to run after the girl but she can't help but stare)

Adol: hey sis whats...wrong...( he looks to see the girl as well) huh?

Fyron: what's gotten into them all of a sudden?

Nagi: maybe they just went afk or something

Reid: ( he blushes as senns pulled him into the big group hug) ah! Jeez come on that's embarrassing...( despite this he still finds himself smiling) but hey come on let's get going guys...

Something weird? "Uh..." Sylpharion looked down at her hand as his face reddened some, after a few seconds he let go of her hand and shook his head soberly. I'm sure it's nothing like that, probably. He placed both hands on his blade. "Ahem. Um, it's not likely for two people to go afk simultaneously." Sylpharion followed Kara's and Adol's gaze, but having no knowledge of this red haired flick reaper he simply saw a bunch of characters. One did kind of stick out, she was heading for the tree, but that wasn't terribly atypical in this situation. Marcus looked around for anything more apparently out of place, seeing nothing jump out at him he just sort of stared and took the whole situation surrounding the glowing tree in.

( Reid senna and kite warp into the Area)

Reid: wow they really went all out for this event huh? ( he looks around at the crowd and the area as his gaze goes to the world tree) what do you guys think? ( he looks at kite and senna)

Rin: ( she stands at the base of the world tree as a screen appears over head so all players in the area can see her face as she begins speaking) ahem! Now that everyone is here I would first like to thank all of you who are participating those of you here have proven to be the bravest warriors or the world...but before I get into any details I would first like to give a most warm welcome to the reality guardians for gracing us with their presence! ( the screen switches to show Reid kite and senna as the screen switches back to rin) lets all give a warm welcome to the mighty heroes

Reid: ( he didn't have to look at the screen to see who was speaking he knew right away who this mysterious woman was almost instinctively Reid began walking towards the tree).....t-theirs no way it can't be wh-why are you here?

Rin: now then let's get this event started shall we! ( suddenly the warp gates lock as a group of players emerge from the crowd and join by rins side) now then the roar of the guilty dragon shall be heard across the world all you lucky players shall bear witness to the awakening of a new world... Now then...( the players that stand beside her all brandish their weapons each weapon has a strange an intrigue design with strange markings on them)

( a blade master player walks beside her)

Player: you all serve a very important purpose!

Kara: ( she begins running towards the tree) I'm not mistaken I know I'm not!

Sylpharion looked at the tags of the apparent organizers, none were game masters, Bode well this does not. "Hackers. Guys, you should probably all leave. Now. I'll get Kara." He bolted after her. Why does she have to be so fast? Sylpharion's eyes tracked towards the weird looking weapons. I really hope I'm overreacting and this is just some weird event. He kept a hand on his sword and readied himself to dodge out of the way if they suddenly charged him, he didn't know what those blades did, but he could imagine them destroying whatever they hit, sending you to some sort of jail, or even flat out wiping your character, whatever it was he was pretty sure he didn't want to find out if he could avoid it.
