2008: Bonds of the Battlefield(CW)

Dante and Vergil were approaching the rear of the Odessa base, Dante readied his custom BWS-3 Great Sword while Vergil opted for a pair of AMWS-21 Combat System assault cannons, however upon arriving, they saw their companion Nero attacking the U.N TSF's with a pair of Falcate Swords, the U.N TSF's were equipped Type-92 Supplemental Armor and type-77 Close Range Battle Halberds, as a U.N TSF held up its supplemental armor, Nero yanked at it with the scythed end of his melee halberd, exposing the U.N TSF to a swipe attack, Dante and Vergil joined in, Vergil raining fire on the U.N TSF's with his AMWS-21 Combat System assault cannons while Dante smashed their shields with his BWS-3 Great Sword, the area was littered with the remains of TSF's, after making sure the coast was clear the three of them fired flares into the night sky, Odessa base was about to become a battlefield...

"What happened back there Yoko?" asked Mifune as Yoko was resting in a sarcophagus like device, "I was assaulted by the Russian's apparently they have an interest in Troy Parker, an American pilot" replied Yoko, "if they're interested in him, he might be important, I'll investigate into this, but for now just rest, I'll check up on you again tomorrow" he said as he left the room, Yoko feeling tired drifted off to sleep.

Mifune was on his way back to his office when all of a sudden the alarm sounded; "Alert! We are under attack by unknown enemy TSF's! I repeat! We are under attack by unknown enemy TSF's, all pilots report for sortie!" announced the speakers, Mifune, knowing that Yoko was in no condition to fight, hurried to the hangar.

Six TSF's stood at the center of the base, they were F-15 Eagles, but each one had unique paint jobs to identify it's pilot, they are Allegiance's special forces codenamed "Inferno", as a squadron of U.N TSF's appeared before them, they proceeded to engage them, in a few moments, the TSF's sent against them now lay as scrap metal on the asphalt, they then proceeded towards a certain hangar housing a certain weapon, upon arriving, the black and red TSF signaled a black and green TSF to tear down the door, as it proceed to do so it surprisingly opened and something lunged at the black and green TSF, it was pinned to the ground by a Su-47 Berkut, The Su-47 revved an Arm Blade Motor on it's left hand and proceeded to slam it into the cockpit of the Inferno TSF, the pilot's screams were drowned out by the arm blade motor as flesh and metal became one, the rest of Inferno look in horror at their slain comrade, but then they realized that there were other TSF's behind the Berkut, a pair of F-15 Eagles, one Type-94 Shiranui, a Type-00F Takemikazuchi, and an unfamiliar model with a new looking Melee Halberd, all of them had "Argos Squadron" written on their right shoulders, in the unfamiliar model a voice commanded, "ENGAGE!".

Mifune sortied in his Type-00R, he discovered that the attacking TSF's have hacked into some of the base's TSF's as he was attacked by two unmanned F-15's, he managed to fend them off using his Melee Halberd, "how could they have hacked them so easily?" thought Mifune as he proceeded to reach forced who were calling for help.

"Dammit!" thought Dante as he blocked the unknown model's Melee Halberd with his BWS-3 Great Sword, under most circumstances a BWS-3 Great Sword would be used primarily for piercing but Dante is more than capable of using it for anti-TSF combat, however it was large and is therefore at a disadvantage to the faster unknown model, the others were barely holding their ground, they have already lost Lucia, Beatrice, and Lady, leaving only Dante, Vergil, and Nero, the remaining Inferno members however, decided to retreat, Vergil commanded a squad of hacked F-15's to engage Argos while they made their escape, as they were retreating, Vergil noticed a large container with a nuclear symbol on it, grinning, he took the container and fled along with the rest of Inferno.

Mifune arrived in time to the area that was calling for help, he saw squads of soldiers being attacked by unmanned TSF's, drawing his Melee halberd, he proceeded to engage them, unlike a manned TSF, the unmanned TSF's lacked skill, and were put down by Mifune quite effortlessly, the soldiers cheered him on as he continued to defend their position.
