Skies of Arcadia, the wings that killed adolescence

"Sir, its living armour" said the soldier as they investigated the wreckage of the battle earlier, "magic powered no doubt" replied Rami as he looked at it, he felt like the armour seemed familiar but couldn't quite put his finger on it....

Kamille was on her way to Soltis on a boat since the letter was from a friend there, "Rami's in danger" were its only contents, yet she believed them, although she still took her weapons and armour just in case, she got off on the port and headed to the upper districts, her appearance simply warning the guards she means business.

Zorlo watched as the Caravan rolled past and rested his hand against his chin. So that was his target... that was the woman his order called, "The Prophetess." As the caravan passed, the knight snuck out of the hay bail and snuck in among the group. They're mostly civilians... so she's traveling with other people and not a military escort. This makes things so much more complicated... I can't just go about mercilessly slaughtering normal people... that'd look bad on me, Zorlo thought to himself as he adjusted his armor in order to get the hay out.

He listened as a number of people in the caravan spoke, but none of them said anything of interest. It was all mundane stuff about where they were moving. For now, he'd just wait for the caravan to stop for the day and approach the girl. That would be easiest.

Mimiru followed Zorlo, although she was hardly stealthy about it. She waited for a couple of minutes before she realized he wasn't going to be doing anything anytime soon. "Don't make me have to hunt you down by running off on me." She stated and began working her way down the caravan until she reached the woman with the straw hat. "I beg your pardon if I am inconveniencing you, but I wondered if you knew where I could get one of those straw hats? The wind blew mine away not long ago."

Kenneth was walking with a caravan going to lord knows where, but wherever they were heading was better than Glacia. He had been spacing out the whole day thinking about what he would do the next time he came across a town when he noticed a knight next to him shuffling hay from his plates. Also noticing a young miss following behind him Kenneth decided to hop over and chit chat. "Hello good sir, I'm sure you're aware but there's a miss following you looking like she's ready to gut you. Marriage problems ehy?" Kenneth asked with a chuckle.

[Zorolo]

Zorlo narrowed his eyes at the cloaked man that walked up to him and sighed. "No. She's trying to get me to fight her. I'm busy on duties for my order, so I can't spend my time crossing swords without any kind of reason," the fencer stated as he adjusted his sword slightly and noticed she'd moved up to the pink haired girl. "Dammit," the Templar muttered as he started to shuffle through the crowd, but trying not to draw TOO much attention to himself.

"Hmm...?" Nephilim turned to look back, turning fully to give Mimiru her full attention when she realized it was in fact herself that Mimiru had asked. "A hat like mine? Hmm..." she crossed her arms and thought from a moment. "Well I got this one about two towns back. I do remember there being a Hat seller with us back then, but I'm not sure if he's still with this Caravan. That's one option. The other is that we're stopping at a smaller town in a few hours. You should be able to find one there with any luck. I hope that helps you," Nephilim replied kindly, glancing wearily at Mimiru's weapons but trying not to let it show.

"I appreciate your assistance. I will go wandering around and see if I can find him later then. If nothing else I'll just pick up a new one in the next town." Mimiru shrugged and sat down, she held her blades in one hand and closed her eyes against the glare of the sun. She didn't have much else to do except wait so that's what she did.

With nothing else to do Kenneth decided to follow the man he had talked to. "An order you say? Well if you need help I can handle my share of labor." Kenneth said plucking a few bits of hay from the mans back plate. "I'm not a knight of any order but I know how to use most weapons and should the time call for it I'm a top notch mechanic!"

Zorlo noticed the man following him and resisted the urge to sigh. "WEll, that's good. Still, I'm sure this Caravan might need some assistance. After all, as far as I can gather, it has a lack of warriors in it. I wonder what they were thinking when they did that?" Zorlo asked, yawning slightly as he caught himself before bumping into someone. "So why are you here, ser?"

"Eh I'm trying to find a place to settle in so I can work on some inventions. People in Glacia call me a nutcase trying to mix magic with technology but I've made progress!" Kenneth explained chuckling to the man. "My name's Kenneth Kitsune by the way but you can call me Ken. Who might you be sir knight?"

As Kamille walked towards the Seller's residence, most people edged away from her due to both her appearance and the fact that she wasn't a silvite, she found Rami's home, she simply got the key under the front carpet and entered casually, on the outside things seemed normal..... Till Kamille jumped out of the house, she looked at the window she had broken to get out then heard siren's, "time to end this", she said as she readied V.A.R, out the window came three armoured assailants about 6 feet tall, not as tall as Kamille but still deadly, one of them extended its arm towards her and she simply dodged it, she let loose a shot from her weapon at its head, to her shock the head came of and there was nothing there, "what are these things?! Living suits?!" she thought as she continued to do battle with them, moments later the living suits were scattered across the street while the local constabulary were questioning Kamille, as Kamille grew agitated with their questioning, a young woman came forward and vouched for Kamille, the young woman left with Kamille while the constabulary dealt with the wreckage, "So, how have you been doing in med-school Fina?" Kamille asked the young woman, "not too bad, you on the other hand don't seem to be doing too well" replied Fina, "why did you come here?" she asked Kamille, Kamille explained the letter to her and the ambush, "I'm surprised someone is after you, made any enemies?" asked Fina, Kamille gave her a look that answered her question, "oh, sorry then" said Fina, "Don't worry about it, by the way, I'm gonna go to your brother's workplace, you coming?" asked Kamille, "Alright, besides I think I'll be safer around you" replied Fina.

"My name is Zorlo Amaranth, call me Zorlo, and I'm just on a mission. So, Mr. Inventor, I've gotta get moving up a bit further," Zorlo stated as he moved through the crowd, getting closer to the waves of pink-hair he saw. The green-haired man neared ever so quietly as he drew near to her. "Um... Excuse me, ma'am, but I was wondering if you wouldn't mind talking to me," the Templar asked the radiant woman as he approached. She was truly radiant... and highly buxom. Oh man was she that second one. "I saw you from the back of the caravan and felt I had to speak to you," he told her, biting his lip slightly and seeming embarrassed.

"I am Zorlo Amaranth of the Templars, and it is nice to meet you. Will you be so kind as to share your name with me?" he asked her, almost pleading.

Nephilim Jumped somewhat in surprise as Zorlo's sudden greeting as she spun toward him, her eyes glancing over his sheathed blade a moment as she did so. "O-oh... Hello there..." she replied at first as she looked to Mimiru a second to see her still unmoved. Guess she noticed already... But did everyone need to be bearing swords to day...? she thought to herself as she took a deep, steadying breath and smiled. "I'm Nephilim. Nephilim Grapha of House Grapha. I'm pleased to meet you, Sir Zorlo," she replied with a polite bow. "So, what is it you wish to speak of?"

I wish to hear your story, milady. A knight is always fascinated in a beautiful woman's story and her desire to share it. Would you be so kind to share your times and events with me?" the Templar asked with a smile as he shifted slightly closer to her. "If not, I shall leave you be, but should you, I'll be truly grateful and happy. So, shall you please?" he asked, smiling at her with a bright smile.

"Your business was attempting to court a random woman!" Mimiru glared up at Zorlo for a moment before she shoved him aside roughly and stalked away. She asked the nearest person if the man who sold strawhats was still about, receiving a negative she then inquired after coffee and made a bee line for her favored drink and often times integral part of her "balanced" breakfast.

"Remind me why we are going to Glacia again Rami?" asked Kamille as she stood next to him on board a Silvite ship, "they know about magic more than we do, the University of Winterhold should know something about these living suits of armour" replied Rami as he kept looking at the small blue object he held, "is that a wind moonstone?" asked Kamille, "No, its something else, and that's what we're going to find out at Glacia" he replied, suddenly he remembered about Fina, "Kamille, where is Fina?" he asked as he put the object in his pocket, "sleeping, she got airsick and decided to go take a nap, I'll go watch after her" she replied, "alright thanks, I'll come get you two when we've arrived" said Rami as he went to the deck, as he entered the helmsman told him that they'll reach Glacia in an hour.

"Finally, we're here" said Rami as the trio exited the ship, "Otto, stay on board with the rest of the crew, we'll be back later" said Rami as he left his first mate, "wow, I never imagined I would visit the inverted city" said Fina as she looked in awe, Glacia was built underneath the purple lands and the buildings resembled Stalactites, "careful not to fall off the paths though, there's a lot of sky below us" said Kamille as she walked towards Fina, "so what do we do first?" asked Fina, "sorry sis but this is a business trip, you two go and enjoy yourselves in the meanwhile, I'll go to the University, we'll meet up back at the Ptolemaios" said Rami as he left the two, the two then proceeded to wander off, as they went to the other district they saw a green haired man with a rapier, "could it be?" wondered Kamille as they began to approach him.

"Huh...?" Nephilim murmured as watched Mimiru stalk off as the Caravan made its final stop. With a lack of road, it would just reverse and head back toward a different destination. Not that it mattered to Nephilim. "You... want to hear about me..?" she replied with a kind smile before shaking her head. "There really isn't anything to say. I'm traveling to expand my magical ability and knowledge. Starting with Winterhold University! It's been a very long time since I was last here, so I'm sure I'll be able to learn something again. Plus I have a number of books to return and exchange too.Hope the old Librarian isn't too mad at me..." she finished be noticing Kamille's intent gaze. It took her a moment to realize it was directed at Zorlo rather then herself. "Sir Zorlo? I think she's looking for you..." Nephilim said as she pointed to the Armed woman.

Zorlo watched Mimuru storm off and chuckled. "I guess I REALLY owe her a fight now... not that it could be avoided," he murmured to himself with a slight crack of his neck. STill, all of this talk about Winterhold had offset him. "Its been a long while since I've been home... I'm really happy to be here," he told her, looking at the city. "This place is as insane as ever. Well, that can't be helped," Zorlo noted as he heard Nephilim say something.

His eyes shifted slowly as he looked at Kamille. "Well, I'll be damned," Zorlo said as he turned towards her and started walking. "Kamille! How the hell are you?" he asked, smiling at her as he held his arms up and out towards her.

Kenneth had overheard Zorlo's conversation and soon came running up to the woman. "Did you Just say Winterhold University.....THIS CARAVAN IS GOING TO GLACIA!!!" Kenneth began to curse under his breath and mumbling, "Glacia, why Glacia. All this time and I'm going back to where I started..." He noticed the woman looking at him like a crazy man, she wasn't too far off. "Sorry miss I didn't mean to lose my head. I'm an inventor from Glacia and people there prejudiced me about some of my ideas. I really wasn't planning to go back."

"Hello to you too" said Kamille smiling as he hugged her and patted him on the back, "been good, how about you?" she asked before turning to Zorlo's companion, "well I'm Kamille Bidan, and this is my friend Fina" replied Kamille to Ken, "so why exactly are you being persecuted here?" asked Fina.

"The University of Winterhold" said Rami to himself, he simply showed the guards his OZ license and was then allowed in, he went to the arranged meeting place inside the library, there sat a red haired woman wearing a black and red uniform that signified she belonged to Pecuniam, "Ms. Valerie Aynsley?" asked Rami as he approached her, "take a seat Mr. Sellers" replied the woman, he sat in front of her and handed her the blue object he was examining earlier, "the armour it was in was of Yafutoman make, what can of it?" asked Rami, "its tree resin" she quickly replied bored, "tree resin? So you're telling me I came all the way to the purple continent to be told that this is hardened tree sap?" asked Rami doubtful, "it is, I can have it studied further to find out more about it, what will you do till then?" asked Valerie, "go to Yafutoma of course" replied Rami,"so when can I have the results?" he added, "sometime around this week, till then take care" said Valerie as she stood up and left him.
