Zorlo smiled at her as a portal appeared and a tea set of green metal floated down as a tea pot, with steam rolling out of it as he poured her a cup of tea. "This is druidic tea. I don't normally use my powers for such... unusual uses, but I think a cup of tea helps relax the soul," he said as he poured her a cup and himself one. He sipped the tea and smiled. "I spent a year in soul searching. I completely detached myself from the world and was drawn into a spiritual world where I trained for a year in this world's time, but about thirty years passed there. I couldn't master a number of their magics, as druidism is not innate in my blood, but I was able to reshape them into magic I can use. Although not a terribly fascinating story," he said with a smile to her, "do you want to know about anything specific about it? I'm not a great orator... at least not anymore... my soul searching and time with druids removed some of my basic speech skills, I fear."

Though a bit surprised at it, it was nice all the same. It would... so great everyone thought that way... she thought to herself with a small smile as she stepped back to give room for the group of volunteers that would be coming soon. But then, in a group that was forced together because they were different, it was hard to get people to to accept the individuality of themselves and each other.

Miyoko felt the cup in her hands, taking a sip. "Connections." Her voice was soft, barely audible as she let it out. "I saw connections and they were afraid." She had awakened at a very young age. "I learned it was best not to say it." She took another sip, her eyes closing a little. It was a wonderful gift to be able to heal, yet it still caused them to fear her and abandon her. Her powers had not been evil or destroyed anyone. On the contrary, they had been helpful without her parents knowing it.

"I see," he said, smiling. "What a wondrous gift," he told her, smiling. "You can see the bonds that link people. That is truly a fabulous thing to know. Still... I have connections, I am sure... but mine go nowhere in this world. For all purposes, being a hermit is a lonely event, but I have associates... just one in a world I cannot freely visit all the time," he told her as a green bottle landed and the man poured some lemonade into his tea. "As much as I like green tea and with as relaxing as it is, I enjoy it combined with lemonade a bit more," he told her, pushing the bottle towards her. "Feel free to try, if you like."

Miyoko's eyes focused on the man in front of her. She began to detect a few red strings, but their destination was somewhere not in this house or anywhere else. Tracing them alone would be far too dangerous. She nodded at his offer for the lemonade, pouring a little into her cup. She was about to say something more when she heard a knock on the door. "Ghost, some of the guests are getting ready to leave." She stood up after a few sips of her tea.

"Thank you." She spoke softly, going out towards the door to make sure she was there to see some of the guests out.

The man smiled as she walked out as he left the tea stuff out. "I assume that she may or may not return. If she does, we shall continue our discussion, and if not, well, that is quite unfortunate," the man said as he sipped his lemonade/Green tea mix. "This is simply fabulous, I must be honest," he told himself with a smile. So she can see the lines that connect people... mine aren't aligned with this world... and the others she has told have abused her, so she stopped talking? I think that was what I partially understood from her words. Poor girl... all she needs is a little time and some understanding and she will be better, the man thought as he leaned back in the chair. "I should conjure some food when she returns. Maybe something sweet for her?"

Yu, as he heard this last thing raised his hand "I'll be the first one!" he said, as the soma that was recolecting the tips pulled him and pushed at the real soma's side "Woah!, heh, now, what'll we do?"

Miyoko waved at the people leaving off to fight again. To receive guests that had an Arcana were not rare and often cam in with wounds to rest. Still, the person who came in to the house as as curious as a new face could be. Should she go back and risk talking more about the life that had been left behind? Either way, there was no way to know for sure why he was so curious. She had even been promised a shotgun marriage once if she spoke yes out loud.

"Should we begin preparing the guest rooms?" The guy asked. Miyoko nodded, beginning to clean up the room and trays.

Rei nodded to Soma as she finished laughing quietly at the man unfortunate enough to have been the one that reappeared in a tree. In a relatively unhappy life, it was good to have some laughter every now and again. It made her normally dark days a bit brighter. "Yes... Thank you for that, Soma. It brightened my day a little," Rei replied to him, her voice rather soft and quiet from a general lack of speaking to anyone.

"I don't know yet..." Rei replied to him. In truth, it was hard to plan out such a thing for people like Rei, that didn't really plan all that much beyond occurrences like fights. "I... I think I'll go to the Ghost house today. I need to clean up my clothes and such after that fight yesterday. And it's been a while seen I've actually eaten too..." she said as she considered it. She didn't go often, not wanting to disrupt them much. It was mostly a night or so to clean up and actually eat before returning to her little clearing.

"It looks like the morning shift is over." A woman spoke, yawning a little. "I'll be heading off for my break, okay?" Miyoko nodded, handing her a small basket to get anything if she wanted to take it back to one of the rooms. A few others left, though they would be replaced with the day shift. The only one who worked most of the shifts was herself. It gave her something to do each day.

"Lunch preparations?" The man beside her spoke. "It looks like that man got into his room and is resting well." He spoke, leading her towards the kitchen. She smiled, her hands coming together.

Zorlo looked into the kitchen and smiled at the group as he looked around. "Oh, quite a fine food establishment you have here," he said, looking at their preparations. "Would it be quite all right if I help you cook and prepare food for other visitors. I'm aware I am one... but I don't feel right taking something without giving something in return. SInce I've been alone for a while, I've learned to cook quite well and in a variety of way. What do you say?" the man asked as he smiled at the group.

"As long as you don't make something we can't share with everyone, it'll be alright." One of the helpers spoke, offering their spot. Miyoko was currently washing some of the fresh ingredients that they had to use quickly. The person beside her, the man, was cutting up some of the vegetables that would be used in a soup that someone was already making two spots away. Tomatoes and soup reminded her of the burnt batch she had made to eat when she was younger and hungry.

Zorlo took up work to make something that everyone could eat. Mixing vegetables and seasonings, he created a relatively interesting salad. "Something so basic," he said, pointing at the left over bits as he ground them into other things to be eaten along with the salad. "Here we go, using everything will give travelers energy. Skins, stems and non-poisonous parts all make food healthier, and when ground up make something that LOOKs edible or drinkable," he stated with a smile as he served a small bit to the woman called Ghost and to the woman who had given her spot to him. "Try it out."
